GND#58 Stacy Allen- Powerskating and Skills Guru Dominating Alberta's Hockey Youth Development Scene! Special Episode*

Stacy Allen is a local Calgarian hockey jugernaut in the coaching world. She has been slowly and steadily building her book of business of up and coming wannabe superstars. Her specialty, is Powerskating. But it doesn't just stop there, she's no slouch with the puck, having been part of the group of female pioneers before the arrival of the PWHL. Stacy belongs to a special group of elite athletes coming out of the University of Alberta where her team was inducted to Hockey Hall of Fame for a Dynasty Team in 2019.

We had a fascinating discussion on her rise, where it all began playing with the boys, AND hitting with the boys. She later parlayed this into a career, but it was no easy path. We dissect many of the differences between the boys and the girls on the ice and even the mechanics of how girls can skate vs the boys.

Sit back, relax and please enjoy this Great Northern Discussion.
