How do I recommend additional services without being pushy? (Day 26 NaPodPoMo)

This episode is available as a podcast episode on Substack AND as a video on YouTube. Just search for "Podcast Editing Plus."

THIS EPISODE:

You plan, you prepare, you strategize and then you start working on the first few episodes for a new client.

And you notice things you could do to help their podcast but they’re timely and you don’t want to keep pushing new services often. You just negotiated their package so it feels too soon to add anything else. But you want to help their podcast.

What do you do?

How can you protect your business (or freelance income) AND not come across as service pushy?

Asking for a friend. Or for myself. Or both.

Thanks!

AUDIO NOTE:

I’m recording on my microphone in my kitchen(my current office) that has glass doors and windows with the thinnest of curtains. I’m not going under a blanket cause it’s been dark and rainy for weeks already and my red light is already on overdrive. So if you hear an echo, this is why.

VIDEO NOTE:

These static images are from our time in Tirana, the capital of Albania. We lived there for about a year from Fall 2020 to Fall 2021.
