ABOUT THIS EPISODE
In this spine-chilling episode of Ghost Bites, Mike, JT, and resident wrestling expert Joanna dive headfirst into the dark side of wrestling promoter politics and corporate greed. Transporting listeners back to 1991 at the height of the "Land of Giants" era, Joanna recounts the horrifying tale of young star Rex “The Anatomy” Armstrong and Titan Global's ruthless promoter, Victor Monarch. Hoping to craft the ultimate champion, Monarch forces Rex to strap on a sinister prototype belt—a pulsing, biological entity that fuses with his flesh, grants unnatural power, and forces him to wreak terrifying violence against his will. Blending dark corporate satire, gruesome body horror, and an incredible in-character wrestler promo, this episode serves as a haunting reminder that in the world of professional wrestling, the machine is always hungry .
