00:00:09
Speaker 1: Caroline, she's a queen of talking, hey what's on your mind? She's getting real, not afraid to fail, take her soul to soul, just let her flow No one can do it quite like Caroline, it's time for Caroline.
00:00:28
Speaker 2: I'm here with Hannah Keeley and I already love you so much, Hannah. I mean, we just started off right away and you're like, how are you doing? And I'm like, well, do you want me to lie to you and just say, oh, I'm great.
00:00:37
Speaker 1: Everything's great.
00:00:37
Speaker 2: Or do you want me to tell you the truth and tell you I'm really struggling because I mean, I could cry right now. I just think maybe this is just midlife. Like I'm 43 years old and I just feel like health has come to a crux. Career has come to a crux, like just finding answers and just feeling like, well, just feeling like overwhelmed and lost and swimming in the world.
00:00:58
Speaker 1: And I love that you are an ordained minister.
00:01:01
Speaker 2: And yet you're writing a book called a reverent women Bible study club. And it's basically like taking, I just, because like, I've struggled with that too, because I love God.
00:01:11
Speaker 1: God is everything to me. I feel him every day.
00:01:15
Speaker 2: I have a very personal relationship with God, but also then I feel shame sometimes when I don't feel like I totally aligned with all these rules and fear and regulation that is put on you from the church. And then I feel scared because I have some friends saying like, if you don't do this, then you're going to hell. Or like, if you are entities can attach to you or like, like all this stuff.
00:01:38
Speaker 1: And I'm like, how do I even combat this? Like how?
00:01:41
Speaker 2: And then I lose my power and then I lose my confidence in myself and my connection to God. And then I'm just riddled with fear. And then I go down and then like health problems pop up. And then like, I've had all these miscarriages and then that pop up. And then I just feel like, and then my, like, you know, if you're, you have a kid who's not, who's having issues, like it just, my daughter has like some headaches and I can't get to the root of that.
00:02:02
Speaker 1: And I'm just like, God, I.
00:02:05
Speaker 2: Have been literally in my closet weeping this past weekend because I'm just so overwhelmed.
00:02:11
Speaker 3: I'm crying. That's why we're talking. Take the biggest breath you've taken today.
00:02:18
Speaker 2: I'm like, God, how do I work through all this? Because all I want to do is glorify you. All I want to do is use my purpose.
00:02:25
Speaker 3: What if you don't have to work through anything? This is going to be the easiest, most fun podcast episode you have ever experienced because God really does want you to enjoy life.
00:02:41
Speaker 1: Have you ever been at the spot where you're just like so overwhelmed, you don't know how to sort?
00:02:45
Speaker 3: No, I have no idea what you're talking about.
00:02:46
Speaker 1: Teach me your ways, Hannah.
00:02:51
Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. But you know what? I keep on going back to this one idea. Jesus said, if you can't become like a child, you can't enter the kingdom, which the kingdom is not a place. It's a state. And think about that childlike state. Does a kid have to make things confusing? Do they just operate in wonder and awe and play and trust? Like, what if it was actually simple? And that's a confusion. This whole loop you just described is that spirit of religiosity that makes it us. It's all on us.
00:03:23
Speaker 1: So much pressure to figure it out, to get it right.
00:03:27
Speaker 3: One word. One word. Ew.
00:03:28
Speaker 2: What?
00:03:29
Speaker 1: And that's how I feel. I'm like, I can't do this.
00:03:31
Speaker 2: I physically can't handle it. Like I'm not, I'm not equipped to handle it. I break down, my body starts shaking and like, I just, I feel overwhelmed.
00:03:41
Speaker 3: That's because it was never ours to handle. That's why Jesus took care of it.
00:03:45
Speaker 1: I know. How did we lose? How did I lose the plot? How have we lost the plot?
00:03:50
Speaker 3: Because if we can control it, then we're the boss. And then when we take on a load, we were never meant to carry. It's a heavy load. Control, you know? And as soon as you realize, wait, maybe my life is supposed to be an expression of joy. Maybe I am supposed to have fun in this life. Maybe God is enjoying me, enjoying myself. And maybe it's not so hard. Whatever we made hard, we took Jesus out of the equation. I promise you.
00:04:24
Speaker 2: What happens when you're in a valley? Okay, so say for instance, let me just use my song. when like you're having health issues. Cause I've had like seven miscarriages. I'm 43 years old in my heart. I'm like, I always felt like there's another kid out there, but now I'm like, I have seven miscarriages stacked against me. I have my age stacked against me. I have all this fear stacked against me. And then like career wise, like my career is great, but I'm like, God, I know I'm supposed to be growing this. Like how I just feel like, how do I move it? So it, I just feel like it's like stayed at this place.
00:04:53
Speaker 1: It's wonderful.
00:04:54
Speaker 2: But I'm like, I know it's supposed to go somewhere else, but then I'm trying to figure it out and find the way.
00:04:59
Speaker 1: How do I release it to God?
00:05:01
Speaker 2: Because ultimately what I want to do is what God wants me to do.
00:05:05
Speaker 1: I literally just want to use the gifts that He gave me to....
00:05:10
Speaker 2: Bless the world but also you have to make money you know you have to use use your gifts to provide for your life so then there's that always that pressure and it's just like and then the whole world on top of it you know you got people telling you one way you got to live and if you don't then you're going to hell or this is the only way and then you have all these experts telling you this stuff and it's just just there's so much and then the world's in a state of crisis the world's on fire so then it's like are we all going to just get.
00:05:32
Speaker 3: Below the state of crisis since the beginning of time like I know.
00:05:35
Speaker 2: I'm like, are we going to get taken over by robots and all blow up? And like, is there going to be a nuclear war?
00:05:40
Speaker 1: And what's the port of it anyway? There's always been a fear.
00:05:42
Speaker 3: There's always been fear of everything.
00:05:44
Speaker 1: So how do you deal with all that?
00:05:45
Speaker 3: Let's get our world straight. Then we'll get the world straight.
00:05:48
Speaker 1: I love that.
00:05:48
Speaker 3: But let's get our world straight. And I want to call you back to a phrase you just said. Figure it out. I'm going to tell you one time I was on a walk with my dogs and wasn't even thinking about this one, even like praying, meditating. I was on a walk with my dogs and the Holy Spirit arrested me, like stopped me right there and said, there is a demon in hell whose name is figure it out. Every time we go to figure it out, we put it on us. Girl, what if you're not supposed to figure it out? Doesn't that feel hard?
00:06:28
Speaker 1: It feels like I'm just, it feels like I'm not doing the right thing.
00:06:32
Speaker 3: Yeah. And God would never want us to try to figure it out. That's why he is our counselor. That's why he is our guide. That's why he is the voice that we hear behind us that says, this is the way, walk in it. And that's why he's that still small voice. We can't hear the still small voice if we have a bombardment of all the noise, stress and fear and pain. Can't do that. You can't do that. And when you're going through a valley, that's all you're hearing. And we forget that when we're going through a valley, a valley is only determined a valley because it's next to a mountain. And we forget that. We forget that this might be the passage through. So we don't build a house in the valley. We don't even pitch a tent in the valley. It says we walk through the valley and then we realize that craziest thing that it's not a valley at all. It's just a valley of a shadow. It's not real. It's just causing us to become the next version of ourself that can actually conquer that mountain that could be just 24 hours away.
00:07:37
Speaker 2: So that valley is there just to prepare you to get to the next mountain.
00:07:42
Speaker 3: What if it is? I know you can think back to a time in your life When it was hard. And if you did not go through that hard, you would never get to the place that you can say it was all worth it.
00:07:55
Speaker 1: Always. It's so many.
00:07:57
Speaker 3: So why is this different?
00:07:58
Speaker 1: Because it's now.
00:08:00
Speaker 3: Right. But that's why God calls himself I am. Because every single bit of stress and worry we hold is either regret and remorse from the past or anxiety and fear about the future. So what if we just called ourselves back into that place? in the presence of God, because there's no lack, there's no scarcity, there's no confusion or fear in the presence of God. And we called ourselves back to that place where we can take a breath and realize we didn't do anything to make our hearts beat. We're not doing anything to make our lungs breathe. So why do we have to do anything to make money or get a solution or figure something out? It's not on you.
00:08:39
Speaker 1: Well, then how do you do it?
00:08:41
Speaker 2: How do you have the faith that like, It will appear or be revealed.
00:08:45
Speaker 3: It could be my age. I'm almost 60.
00:08:48
Speaker 1: Gosh, you're gorgeous. You look like you're 40 at max.
00:08:52
Speaker 3: Thank you. Yes. But if you think back, you made it through a hundred percent of your worst days.
00:08:58
Speaker 1: I know.
00:09:00
Speaker 3: So what if this is not real now? I know I'm going to get like Super weird on you, okay?
00:09:07
Speaker 1: Get weird. No, I'm as weird as they come.
00:09:10
Speaker 3: Everything that you're believing is true may not be real at all. That's why it's called the shadow of death.
00:09:19
Speaker 1: So break that down. It's just a shadow.
00:09:20
Speaker 3: It's not real. Because it talks about in the Bible how no matter where we go, we can't escape the love of God.
00:09:30
Speaker 1: Right.
00:09:30
Speaker 3: We can go to the depths of hell itself. We can go up to the highest mountain. you can't escape the love of God. So what if we understood that if we have that love of God, then that's really the only equation that has to be operating in our life.
00:09:44
Speaker 2: So when you feel overwhelmed by your current circumstances, like say there's some big ones, like some scary health stuff or like fear, like for me, fear that like with having another kid, like that it's too late or that it's not going to happen or that that's.
00:10:00
Speaker 1: You know, just a deep sadness there.
00:10:02
Speaker 2: But it's like, how do you know that God.
00:10:08
Speaker 1: Just wants it that way?
00:10:10
Speaker 2: Or like, not wants it that way, but that I'm okay and that it's all going to work out and that you have these longings in your heart for health and you feel something Yeah. You desire something that you feel like is a calling, but like you have this fear, like what if it won't get there?
00:10:25
Speaker 1: How do you stop yourself from that?
00:10:27
Speaker 3: Well, the truth is you are okay. Right now. You're okay. Okay. We can both acknowledge that. And so all of your fear is imagined. Now we get to determine, am I going to use my natural brain or am I going to use the mind of Christ? Because the Bible says that we have the mind of Christ. The mind of Christ will give you the best case scenario. Your human brain will give you the worst case scenario. Whichever one you decide to put more energy toward, that's the one you move toward. So either way, you have an option. You can believe it'll turn around and you can believe it won't. You can believe you're walking into the best of days. You can believe you're walking into the worst. Either way, you have put something into motion that you're going to step into because you're prophesying your future all the time. Starts in your mind, comes through your mouth, goes into your body, in your home, in your family, everywhere. We got to get to the root if we're going to change the fruit. So if you want to change the fruit of what you're living, we get to the root of what you're believing because that's what's creating everything anyway. The Bible says that whatever's seen comes out of that which is unseen. And there's nothing that is seen that did not come out of that which is unseen. So what if that's where we have to do the work? That's why we get so confused and screwed up around religious behavior, like gross, gross, disgust, poo-poo, stinky, nasty. Like all the religious behavior is us trying to convince ourselves that we hit a mark.
00:12:01
Speaker 1: Right.
00:12:01
Speaker 3: But sin, literally the definition of sin is miss the mark. And when we realize Jesus conquered sin, then what if Jesus hit the mark for us and it's not even on us in the first place? Like, I know this is probably backwards to everything that church may have taught you. Definitely what religion has taught you. But what if love, because God is love, what if that was really the law that we're supposed to live by? And if we know that we're loved, then where does the fear come from?
00:12:40
Speaker 2: Life circumstances being laid on you that we take so seriously.
00:12:43
Speaker 3: We take it so seriously.
00:12:45
Speaker 1: I know.
00:12:47
Speaker 3: Did you ever have the power to call the end from the beginning? So what end are you calling right now?
00:12:52
Speaker 2: So say just for instance, when you went through a miscarriage, cause you have seven kids, which is unbelievable.
00:12:57
Speaker 1: Amazing.
00:12:58
Speaker 2: Did you have a moment where you were doubting God or did you know, what did you do in that moment?
00:13:03
Speaker 3: We've all had moments when we doubt God, but what we're doubting is the best for us. That's what we're doubting.
00:13:11
Speaker 2: So like what, what did you do when you were in that valley of doubt?
00:13:17
Speaker 3: I went down to the ground floor, which looks like you are just a wreck.
00:13:25
Speaker 1: So you've been a wreck.
00:13:27
Speaker 2: Girl.
00:13:28
Speaker 1: Well, you're so together now. I haven't.
00:13:30
Speaker 3: I am the biggest liar in the world. We've all had, we've all had ugly. We've all had racks. We've all been like, God, take me now. Cause I don't know what the hell I'm doing. Okay. We've all had those moments. And so in those moments, here's the thing that's so powerful is when I hit rock bottom, you realize God's a rock and he's right there at the bottom and you're okay. Like when it gets to it, he is never deficient in his love. And we don't have to know how it turns out to know it's okay. Like if we really woke up every day, it was like, everything is working for me. Everything is literally working out for me.
00:14:17
Speaker 1: That's hard for me to say out loud right now, but yes, you're right.
00:14:20
Speaker 3: Okay, but think about it. If you can't say it out loud, then you don't really believe it. Then you're not holding fast to the truth, which is in his word. Because he says all things work together for good. If he says all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to his purpose, if you love God, then you know God loves you. I know he's called you to a purpose of a full and abundant life, right?
00:14:43
Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
00:14:43
Speaker 3: I'm just applying logic. Yes. I'm just applying logic. So let's go to that verse. All things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to his purpose. God loves me. I love him not because I loved him first, but because he loved me first. So when I know that he loves me, I know his plan for me is abundance. Jesus said, I've come that you may have life to the overflow, to the abundance. Like that's the plan. So now, If I'm looking at that verse as an equation, the other side of it has to be true that all things are working for good. Even this thing I don't understand, even this thing that has caused me to question myself, even this thing that has caused grief and loss actually is working for me. And scripture says that he will use your enemies as your footstools. So instead of like cowering in front of your enemy, use them as leverage to get to that place that he's called you to be.
00:15:44
Speaker 2: So when you wrote this book, which I even love the title, it's so like ballsy, Irreverent Women Bible Study Club. I feel like you are just kind of like pushing the envelope with being, because.
00:15:58
Speaker 1: You're a pastor.
00:15:59
Speaker 2: I mean, you're a, so tell me why you wrote this book.
00:16:05
Speaker 3: Because people are real and God loves humans.
00:16:09
Speaker 2: Were you scared people are going to come? Are you scared that people are going to come after you in the Christian.
00:16:14
Speaker 1: Community and be like, what are you saying? You're supposed to be teaching something else.
00:16:19
Speaker 3: I 100% know that people will come after me. Like Jesus said, why would you think they wouldn't? If they came after me, they're going to come after you. So of course, I knew that It would ruffle feathers like, you're not supposed to talk about this kind of stuff. If we can't talk about this stuff in the grace of God, then we give it over to a world that twists and distorts it. So if we can't talk about sex, if we can't talk about wealth, if we can't talk about desire, if we can't talk about hatred, if we can't talk about all this under the blood of Jesus, then what are we doing here? What problems are we solving? And what are we allowing ourselves to have? Because whatever we don't talk about is going to come in through a back door. We're either going to let it through the front door or it's going to come into the back door in a way that we don't want in our lives. So if we're not going to talk about distrust and evil and betrayal through the front door, then it's just going to sneak in through another entrance. So let's talk about it.
00:17:27
Speaker 1: So tell me what we're talking about.
00:17:28
Speaker 2: What were the key topics that you wanted to cover in this book that are controversial?
00:17:31
Speaker 1: Because you hit quite a few.
00:17:33
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:17:33
Speaker 2: There's sex to begin with. How did we decide to approach the topic of sex? And that's because that's, I love that.
00:17:40
Speaker 3: I love it too. I love sex. It's great. Why, why are we letting the world have this? Because think about it, all the movies, all the books, like how much of that is a beautiful married sex? Like they're like none of it.
00:17:57
Speaker 1: So you're, what do you feel about premarital sex?
00:18:01
Speaker 3: I feel so we had sex before we were married. We also like, I was afraid the other day, like we get so weird about sin. Some sins. Okay.
00:18:11
Speaker 1: What do you mean?
00:18:12
Speaker 3: Gossip. And we can talk about like, we can talk about people and we can be afraid that sin is totally okay.
00:18:18
Speaker 1: Oh, and we can do it. Yes.
00:18:19
Speaker 3: But we can't, you know, we can't allow any like sex sin and we can't any of the like, shut the door on that. Let's not talk about.
00:18:29
Speaker 1: We're quantifying our sin, which sin is okay and which sin is not.
00:18:33
Speaker 3: Like what?
00:18:34
Speaker 1: Like we can get drunk on Friday, but like, right. Yeah. Yeah.
00:18:39
Speaker 3: But like, as long as we show up to church sober on Sunday, we're good.
00:18:42
Speaker 1: Right.
00:18:43
Speaker 3: And don't let them see you like at the liquor store. Oh my God. But I just think God loves humanity and whatever we think we can't walk in to with God is then we're keeping him from it. So why not talk about getting drunk and having sex and cursing and all the things that make us human? Because if you portray yourself as something different, you're not. Sin is a part of our life.
00:19:20
Speaker 1: You're a Pharisee. Yeah. Yeah.
00:19:24
Speaker 3: There's some sins that are okay, some sins that aren't. No, it's all like missing the mark. And so with Jesus, we already hit it. So we're good.
00:19:42
Speaker 1: So you're not like you have.
00:19:43
Speaker 2: How do you have the confidence to write a book like this?
00:19:46
Speaker 1: This is what I want to know, because I love it. I think it's great.
00:19:49
Speaker 2: And I'm always like questioning things like I have always struggled with just straight religion, like fire and brimstone. You're going to hell if you don't do this, because I feel the same way that you're saying God loves humanity. And like we are all fallen. We are going to sin. We are going to mess up. But it's like I don't want to be trapped in my shame anymore. you know, instead of realizing, okay, like I'm just trying to be the best I can be each day with the.
00:20:15
Speaker 1: Knowledge that I have.
00:20:17
Speaker 2: But also I also don't want to live in this fiery fire and brimstone fear, you know?
00:20:23
Speaker 3: Well, why should we? Okay.
00:20:25
Speaker 2: I feel like it's just, it's kind of been, what do you feel like the difference between Christianity, religion and Jesus is?
00:20:33
Speaker 3: Um, the difference between dark and light.
00:20:37
Speaker 1: Then you're an ordained minister.
00:20:39
Speaker 3: The only problem that Jesus had with people were the super religious ones. Have you ever noticed? He didn't mind hanging out with the prostitutes and the taxpayers. He had no problem turning water into wine. He had a problem with the religious people who drew lines and said, this is your, you're good enough now. Jesus said, no, you're good enough. Not when you hit a mark. Not when you prove yourself, not when you clean up. Why do we think we have to clean up for Jesus? When he was the same man who got down in the dirt to rub mud on someone's eyes so they could have vision. Why do we want to keep anything from him? And when we allow him into our lives, it becomes so much richer and fuller and the pressure's off and the freedom is there because everywhere there is shame, there's no freedom.
00:21:33
Speaker 1: I know.
00:21:36
Speaker 3: And when like, He came to set us free. And so we are free indeed. He actually makes us free. That verse in the Bible is like, he makes us free. And so we evolve in our lives. We understand him better. We become more entrenched with him. But isn't that part of the human journey? It was just a fun journey too.
00:22:06
Speaker 1: I want it to get fun again. I'm in a stressful season. I need to get out of it.
00:22:11
Speaker 3: You know what? I find that the most stressful seasons, and I'm just going to be real with you, are when we've misplaced what our source is. Like when our source becomes money, that's stressful. When our source becomes a relationship, that's stressful. When our source for anything is not God, that's stressful. But when our source is God, then why shouldn't we feel free to do what we want to pursue our passions to just fall more in love with this life because he's our source and he takes care of us. That's why he says, cast your cares upon me because I care for you. Like we can't, we can't do a trust fall with someone that we don't know.
00:22:57
Speaker 2: Right.
00:22:59
Speaker 1: Right.
00:22:59
Speaker 3: I mean, maybe you can't.
00:23:00
Speaker 1: No, no.
00:23:01
Speaker 3: I would have to have a lot more. of margaritas in order. So what I'm saying is like, you can't trust someone you don't know. And so when you know more of the character of God, then you have more freedom. You trust more and you don't carry so much with you.
00:23:18
Speaker 1: So I have a couple of questions that I wrote down. I wanted to ask you that.
00:23:22
Speaker 2: I feel like, so what, what do you feel like happens to a woman when she spends her entire life believing that her sexuality is dangerous?
00:23:31
Speaker 3: I think she suppresses one of the most powerful parts of herself.
00:23:35
Speaker 1: Tell me why.
00:23:37
Speaker 3: Because there's shame associated with it. I wouldn't let my daughters, back in the 90s when purity culture was a big thing, 90s, early 2000s, I wouldn't let my daughters go to those purity events because I didn't like how they were positioning sexuality at all. And I wanted them to understand that was a beautiful part of their lives and nothing to be ashamed or hidden from. And I don't think if we, when we understand our sexuality, I think a lot of parents are afraid, Oh, I'm giving them permission to have sex. No, you're not. You're helping them understand themselves better and have a better relationship as they get older. And so I think, The sexual, if you want to call it sin, the sexual dysfunction that we pass down are the same sexual dysfunctions that we're dealing with. If we don't deal with it, we're going to pass them down. And so I think when we understand how beautiful sex is and how God created it, then we can enjoy it so much more.
00:24:48
Speaker 2: Do you feel like it should just be between, you said, obviously you had sex before you were married. Do you feel like it should just be between a husband and a wife or just someone you're deeply in love with?
00:24:58
Speaker 1: Do you think there's a time for.
00:24:59
Speaker 3: Sex that's not in love? We get really keyed up around marriage and sex. What we don't understand is sex is marriage.
00:25:15
Speaker 1: Oh, because once you have integration, you are connected to that person forever.
00:25:19
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:25:20
Speaker 1: That is so true.
00:25:22
Speaker 3: And so instead of making it like marriage, the big thing, let's make sex the big thing.
00:25:26
Speaker 1: Sex is marriage. What a great way to put that. Yeah. Because you are now forever connected.
00:25:32
Speaker 2: You have given your body and your soul and your existence to that person.
00:25:37
Speaker 3: And it's hard to disentangle from that. Very hard to disentangle. And so if we made sex a bigger issue than marriage, because that's not in song of Solomon, look all over song. It's not like, Oh, as soon as we get married, can't wait to get it on with you, babe. Like, no, it was just like this passion for each other. And so that is actually the marriage. Like I consider mine and mine and my husband's marriage as that first moment we had sex. Cause that was the intense connection.
00:26:08
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:26:10
Speaker 3: That wasn't, the ceremony.
00:26:14
Speaker 1: Yes.
00:26:15
Speaker 3: Like that time when you invite Jesus into your heart, when you let down everything that has not worked to that point and you're like, okay, I don't want to run my life anymore, Jesus. I just want you. And that beautiful transaction where you're like, I want to make you my Lord and Savior. Just take my life, do something amazing with it. Just go. That's so much more beautiful than than the ceremonial baptism that on Sunday, this at, you know, 2 PM, you know, so we understood that God is not relegated to a ceremony. God wants to be part of your life. He's so much bigger than that. We don't like book him in.
00:27:00
Speaker 1: Right. I love that.
00:27:02
Speaker 2: That was one of the best explanations I've ever heard. You believe spiritual gifts are available to everyone. Why do so many Christians never discover theirs?
00:27:13
Speaker 3: I think because it's scary.
00:27:16
Speaker 1: Why?
00:27:18
Speaker 3: Because power is scary.
00:27:22
Speaker 2: It is.
00:27:23
Speaker 1: And having authority is scary.
00:27:24
Speaker 3: And authority is scary. And so if you know, like if you know that you have the same authority and power in you that rose Jesus from the dead.
00:27:34
Speaker 1: I mean, that feels very intimidating.
00:27:36
Speaker 3: It feels intimidating. And also now we have no excuse.
00:27:40
Speaker 1: Because you were telling me early to command. And I was like, how do you do that?
00:27:45
Speaker 3: Like your daughter's having headaches? Command them to leave. Operate in the authority you have.
00:27:53
Speaker 1: Have you done that in your life and seen it happen?
00:27:56
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:27:57
Speaker 1: So you can kind of command miracles.
00:28:00
Speaker 3: Yeah, you can too.
00:28:02
Speaker 2: You have to believe it. What do you believe when you're saying that?
00:28:05
Speaker 3: I believe, so when I am commanding a miracle, I believe there's so much love in me that it has to go out into this world. That's what love is. Love is an expansive energy. That's why God just couldn't exist by himself. He had to expand and create. And so love is such expansive energy that when we understand it, We can allow it to release into people's lives, into situations.
00:28:36
Speaker 1: And that love is what heals.
00:28:37
Speaker 3: Yeah. Not this trepidation like, oh, I hope it works.
00:28:40
Speaker 1: Right.
00:28:41
Speaker 3: But just the love and knowing that, no, there's so much love in me that when I release it to the world, it has to go out there and change things. Love changes things.
00:28:52
Speaker 2: I've recently been praying like bold prayers with friends because it also says in the Bible, right?
00:28:59
Speaker 1: When two or more. pray together.
00:29:01
Speaker 2: I don't, I don't know exactly how that, that line is, but it.
00:29:05
Speaker 3: Says that the presence of Jesus is right there to do the will of his father.
00:29:08
Speaker 2: I used to kind of think that prayer was like, okay, I'm going to pray. I'm just going to pray, but I'm in my head. I'm in my world, but I'm really starting to believe that prayer, the power of prayer is miraculous.
00:29:19
Speaker 1: Do you feel that way? And tell me what you feel about prayer.
00:29:22
Speaker 3: I think we're always praying.
00:29:25
Speaker 1: Even if you're worrying, if you're praying, you could be praying against yourself.
00:29:28
Speaker 3: Amen to that.
00:29:31
Speaker 1: That is so true.
00:29:32
Speaker 3: So the Bible says to pray without ceasing. So think about that. Pray without ceasing. Do we literally vocalize things in our mind the whole time? What the Bible is talking about there is we're always praying without ceasing. We're always holding thoughts.
00:29:52
Speaker 2: We're just not always aware of what they are. And a lot of times, like you said, we're doing it in the wrong direction.
00:29:56
Speaker 3: Right, right. Prayer is like a It's like, you know, that monorail at Disney that goes back and forth. Okay. So prayer is faith in the direction that where God's goodness lies. Worry is prayer in the direction of evil. And so either way, we're propelling this monorail to go toward one direction or the other.
00:30:26
Speaker 1: Amen to that.
00:30:26
Speaker 3: So the stress and the worry that is keeping you awake at night, you are on your knees praying for that thing to happen. And so putting all your energy to that monorail going toward that destination. So when we become more conscious of the power and the authority that we have, then we become intentional creators instead of unintentional creators because they're made in the image of the creator. So we're always creating.
00:30:54
Speaker 1: And we just have more power, power with it than we think. Okay.
00:30:56
Speaker 2: So say for instance, cause this, this is an example. I'd love to know how you would keep them on around the right direction. So say one of your seven kids comes down with a life threatening illness and your kid is, and I'm not, do not speak this. Like this is just an example, but it's like, um, how you would probably be hit with some worry originally.
00:31:18
Speaker 3: Right. Yeah.
00:31:19
Speaker 2: What would you do to turn the monorail in the right direction when you have something so terrifying in your story?
00:31:27
Speaker 1: Okay.
00:31:28
Speaker 3: Okay. My middle son, Karis, he and another one of our daughters, they went to youth camp and we had prayed over them before they left, covered them in prayer, surround them in favor, like a shield. And we got a phone call that within like four hours after they got there, that he had been in a, Pretty severe boating accident. It was being rushed to the trauma unit. And it's about seven hours away. So get your stuff and get here now. Because it's very serious. And so immediately, I had to go to the root. The root? No fear.
00:32:14
Speaker 1: You had to get to no fear right then?
00:32:15
Speaker 3: I had to get to that root right then.
00:32:18
Speaker 1: You knew that?
00:32:19
Speaker 3: I absolutely knew that.
00:32:20
Speaker 1: You could hold it together enough to do that.
00:32:24
Speaker 3: I knew it was critical enough that I had to. Oh, that's so good. Okay.
00:32:32
Speaker 1: Like I was now- Like you couldn't worry.
00:32:35
Speaker 3: I couldn't. I couldn't allow that because it was ferociously knocking at my door.
00:32:42
Speaker 1: You had to know- That it was going to- And I knew how.
00:32:45
Speaker 3: Critical it was. I was like, all right, right now, we get our belief dialed in right now before we leave this house.
00:32:51
Speaker 1: What did you do to dial it in?
00:32:53
Speaker 3: We reminded ourselves of he is covered, that no weapon formed against him will prosper. We go to the word and we went to the word that he will live and not die. That he would, like, we just went to that. And you just- We found our peace in that.
00:33:10
Speaker 1: We dove into it.
00:33:11
Speaker 3: I only texted- the people that I knew believed what I believed. I didn't even tell most people in my family.
00:33:19
Speaker 1: That would bring worry.
00:33:21
Speaker 3: Because I don't want any fear contaminating what the, like I'm holding.
00:33:25
Speaker 1: You have to hold that line so strong. You cannot waver.
00:33:28
Speaker 3: So I would not tell anyone that I knew could have an ounce of fear and not partner with me. As a mom, I have covenant power. So I'm like, no, I'm not going to allow any thought, any word, anything to come against me because I'm holding ground. So we go there seven hours and we're like, it was the weirdest trip. I feel like we were teleported because we.
00:33:54
Speaker 1: Were just holding that power the whole time, but.
00:33:56
Speaker 3: We weren't holding it like, Oh my God. We were like, no peace, peace. This is what's in this home. We're going to, we were playing the alphabet game. We were just talking about stupid things. We get there. All I want to do is go in and see my son. And I walk in and I see this woman come out of a room and she's like red faced. She'd been crying. And I heard the Holy Spirit say, I've got him. You get her. Everything in me wanted to get to my son. But I knew like, no, I'm listening to Holy Spirit. We're partnered in this. We're working together here. This is like game on.
00:34:37
Speaker 1: This is when it all comes to a head.
00:34:39
Speaker 3: Yeah. So I stayed in the hall and I talked with her and I ministered to her and I prayed over her.
00:34:44
Speaker 2: And she has nothing to do with your son or anything like that. She's just another person having an issue. You're able to talk to her when you are in crisis with your son.
00:34:54
Speaker 3: But that's what I knew he told me to do. He said, I got him, you get her. So am I going to barge ahead of God?
00:35:03
Speaker 1: Jeez, Hannah, this is like powerful.
00:35:08
Speaker 3: But I knew if I barged ahead of God, then you're missing or I'm working. We're not going to be like, no.
00:35:17
Speaker 1: How did she play into your story? How did that woman?
00:35:20
Speaker 3: It was just something God wanted me to serve her there and minister to her. And I prayed over her. And then he's like, okay, you can go. So I went in there and he's hooked up to all these tubes and everything. And I'm like, okay, he's stable. Satan, it is on. I said, okay, I'm going to do so much damage in your kingdom. You came against me. Oh, hell no. It is on. So I walked out of that trauma, that other room on the trauma unit. And I just started praying for every single door. I am just speaking healing. I'm speaking faith.
00:36:01
Speaker 1: And you're commanding.
00:36:01
Speaker 3: I'm speaking rise up. I'm commanding. Go to the end of the hall. And I start walking back. And there's one nurse walking with a patient in front of me. And I saw another nurse walking with a patient coming the opposite direction. And she said, what is going on? And the other nurse said, I don't know. Everyone's just like ringing their bells. You want to get up and start walking around.
00:36:20
Speaker 2: Stop it.
00:36:22
Speaker 1: You're ignited. You came in and you were electrically charged with God.
00:36:27
Speaker 3: Yeah. I'm like, no, no. You come against me with your like.
00:36:33
Speaker 3: With your defeated self?
00:36:35
Speaker 1: No, no.
00:36:37
Speaker 3: Messed with the wrong family. And so anyway, this is happening this whole time. I'm going to try to make it a short story.
00:36:45
Speaker 1: I love this, Anna. This is so powerful.
00:36:49
Speaker 3: Okay, good, good. He had skull fractures in three places in his head. And he was released from the trauma unit within 24 hours. And they said, we can't let him go. We don't understand. He's doing remarkably well. We can't understand it. We have to keep him here, but we're going to release him from the trauma unit. So, but we want him to stay at the hospital just for more testing. So anyway, he's at the hospital. We had spent about two more days there and they're like, okay, this, his healing's crazy. I mean, people were commenting on it, nurses and doctors. And one nurse was talking about never seen anything like that before. And I said, can I like film you saying that? She's like, no, I'd be fired. Like, no. So anyway, They're like, okay, we'll let you go back home. But he has to go to the emergency ophthalmologist because his eyes were not syncing up. And so that was the thing. Like his eyes were, you know, they just weren't syncing up. His vision was blurry.
00:37:48
Speaker 1: But no brain damage.
00:37:50
Speaker 3: No. So, I mean, of course, you know, the brain is damaged with fractures, but the healing is remarkable. So I am at this point... You know how you're standing on this rock of faith, right? And all of the storm is around me and I can't move from this rock that feels like a pebble. But I'm holding faith for total healing. So we get to the ophthalmologist. We go in and he's like, yeah, they're not sinking. His optic nerve must have been crushed. There's probably paralysis and on and on and on. I get back in the car and he says, I need you to go to this office now. So I get in the car and I'm like, oh, I need, I need that two or three. Just like you said, I need that person. I'm so tired in the battle. Cause sometimes there's a thing called faith fatigue.
00:38:45
Speaker 1: You've been holding, you're holding so strong. You're not wavering.
00:38:48
Speaker 2: Your body is, your physical body is exhausted. Your soul is weary. Yeah.
00:38:53
Speaker 3: You're at war. You're literally at war in the spiritual realm.
00:38:57
Speaker 1: You are just holding it.
00:38:58
Speaker 3: So I called one of my friends. and we're praying together. And I told Karis, my son, when we got to the parking lot and walked in, I was like, whatever you say, words coming out of your mouth, thoughts in your head, only healing. We're in a critical moment here. Only healing comes out of your mouth. And he said, I got it.
00:39:18
Speaker 1: Okay.
00:39:19
Speaker 3: I still not syncing up. All right. So we walk in, the doctor's looking at his eyes, says, yeah, they're just, they're not syncing up. Um, All this stuff. Let me go look. at his MRI again so he leaves the room and I'm so tired I'm so tired I'm in the corner sitting there and I'm like God I've said everything I believed everything I know you don't leave anything out and I heard the Holy Spirit say watch and see I actually have the words right there. Watch and see. Watch and see. I'm like, okay, I'm not, I'm not battling. Like, I'm just resting now. I am like, I'm done. I'm just resting. God's got this. He's good. Doctor comes back in with his little flashlight. He's looking at his eyes again. And Kara closes his eyes like, oh, wait, wait a minute. And I saw his eyes sink up. He's like, oh, yeah, it's not blurring anymore. God. But here's the deal. Sometimes things turn out with that kind of story and sometimes they don't.
00:40:27
Speaker 1: What happens if it wouldn't have?
00:40:29
Speaker 3: When it doesn't, we know it's not the last step.
00:40:39
Speaker 1: Hey!
00:40:41
Speaker 3: Woo!
00:40:44
Speaker 2: What happens if it turns out the worst that we could have ever imagined? What do we do then when you've held this line?
00:40:49
Speaker 3: Then we don't move from it.
00:40:54
Speaker 1: What happens? Good.
00:40:55
Speaker 3: We have to remember that God is good because we always want to get into the what ifs. Like even if God were remarkable things, he hasn't stopped healing.
00:41:03
Speaker 1: But sometimes kids don't, you know, sometimes people don't make it.
00:41:08
Speaker 3: And here's, here's where I find peace. I can't read anyone's mind. I can't get into anyone's head. I don't know the story. And I won't know the story on this side. But I know that some of the worst situations that God still shows up, maybe not in the way that he wanted him to, but usually in a way that yields more beauty and more peace and more freedom than we would have had otherwise. But living without hope is not an option.
00:41:42
Speaker 1: Not an option.
00:41:44
Speaker 3: No.
00:41:45
Speaker 1: Not an option.
00:41:46
Speaker 3: But hope does miracles. And when you allow that love to know that God loves me so much that he wants to bless me, I think that's where we get confused is we think God's holding out on us, holding out on us with miracles and healings and power and authority and abundance. But he's not.
00:42:11
Speaker 1: He's not.
00:42:12
Speaker 3: He wants to get us into a place where we really know him better. And sometimes, you know, if desperation leads us to know him better, then a lot of times we live in desperation because we haven't really known his character.
00:42:25
Speaker 2: Have you, but you don't live in desperation because you know him.
00:42:30
Speaker 3: That doesn't mean I don't have worry and fear.
00:42:32
Speaker 1: But when you get it.
00:42:33
Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, oh, I'm aware.
00:42:37
Speaker 1: You're aware. You can catch it. You know what's happening. Yeah.
00:42:39
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:42:40
Speaker 2: How would you tell someone, someone, okay, someone like me, someone else listening to this, who is wanting to get to this place of authority, who is wanting to get to this place of knowingness with God, who I know this is correct. I know what you're saying is true. I'm not there yet, but I want to be. How do I do it? What is the process to start this deep knowingness relationship with God where I know I am in connection with him? He is working through me. I can command his authority through me. I can believe it. I can hold on to hope in the most desperate situations. How do I do that? How do I get in the word? What would be the beginner's guide to this?
00:43:20
Speaker 3: I think the beginner's guide is just what you said, get into the word.
00:43:24
Speaker 1: Is there a particular way to get into it or like how?
00:43:28
Speaker 3: I love just opening up my Bible. Usually I read from the Old and New Testament and Psalms and Proverbs every day. But go into it with a spirit of God, I want to know you. Because the Bible isn't a book. It's actually, it's like Jesus in book form. Yeah. And so you'll read the same verse 20 times, but then you read it one day and it's like, oh, this is for me. The Bible is the only book that is living, breathing, alive and working with you. And so when we dig into the word and sometimes it's just like one verse and I'm writing pages because God can speak to you just with one word. But be eager for him. And you're not reading the Bible to scratch off a box and say you're religious enough to be holy and you deserve something today. You're reading it to know the character of God.
00:44:28
Speaker 2: How much time do you personally like to spend with God in the word reading for you to feel like your cup is full?
00:44:38
Speaker 3: I don't think I can even put a time on that because then I'm bringing God into.
00:44:43
Speaker 1: You're making. Right, right, right.
00:44:45
Speaker 3: It's kind of like, oh, I spend 20 minutes in prayer. Like sometimes I, I don't have a devotion in the morning. Sometimes I'm meditating on him. Sometimes, I mean, it's just walking with God and knowing he's part of every single moment of your life. Yep. But if we turn it into something where I can check a box.
00:45:05
Speaker 2: That's the whole point of this book. Stop checking boxes.
00:45:09
Speaker 1: Right.
00:45:10
Speaker 3: Right. Stop checking boxes.
00:45:13
Speaker 2: What do you think is one Christian rule that Jesus would want us to throw out immediately?
00:45:16
Speaker 3: I think there's a ton of rules.
00:45:20
Speaker 1: What are some of them that you think Jesus would be like? Nope, nope, nope.
00:45:23
Speaker 3: Like, Where we reach, okay, I'm good enough. God, now do something for me. I remember talking with this one guy, and he's like, I don't understand it. I have tithed my whole life, and I'm broke. I'm like, oh, you were tithing so God would do something for you. It was a transactional relationship.
00:45:45
Speaker 2: Or guilty, or you were feeling fear that if you don't do it, you'll go to hell. Right. But not because your heart wants to give. because you feel so blessed by God's love.
00:45:56
Speaker 1: You want to share. It's all about the intention.
00:46:00
Speaker 3: You have some kind of protection. Are you tithing so that you can make sure you can pay your bills? Are you tithing for that? Like the Pharisees did that.
00:46:11
Speaker 1: Checking a box, following a rule.
00:46:14
Speaker 3: Okay. God, you got to come through.
00:46:15
Speaker 1: Now you have to perform for me.
00:46:18
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:46:18
Speaker 3: Yes.
00:46:19
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:46:21
Speaker 3: And then life becomes so hard.
00:46:22
Speaker 1: So hard.
00:46:25
Speaker 3: Now we have to open up our little ledger every morning and see if we're okay. Instead of we wake up knowing that we're loved and everything's working out for me. How fun is that? You can call it delusion or you can call it faith. I love it. It's the same thing.
00:46:44
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:46:45
Speaker 3: Watch everything work for me.
00:46:47
Speaker 2: How do you feel about entities, negative entities, all that? Like people will say like an entity has been attached to you. Like you have to rid yourself of demons, all that.
00:46:55
Speaker 3: Just be real with you.
00:46:56
Speaker 1: Please, please.
00:46:57
Speaker 3: That is so much bullshit.
00:46:59
Speaker 1: Because that freaks me out.
00:47:00
Speaker 3: Okay.
00:47:02
Speaker 1: Okay. There.
00:47:03
Speaker 3: That tells you it is not of God. It's not of God. Okay. We, it takes a good theology degree to complicate God's goodness.
00:47:13
Speaker 1: Okay. Like.
00:47:16
Speaker 3: Okay, become like a little child and you can enter the kingdom of heaven. What little child is like, what demonic curse do I need? What altar do I need to dismantle? What like gene, like generational curse am I under? Like, right.
00:47:28
Speaker 1: Right.
00:47:29
Speaker 3: Why would you be punished for something that was not an intentional decision of yours? Even the Bible says that, okay, there was a time when that was, that happened. The kids were punished for their father's sin. But since Jesus, Jesus came and made it easy. Made it.
00:47:50
Speaker 1: Easy.
00:47:52
Speaker 3: It's supposed to be easy. Why would he come and complicate things? We complicate things. Jesus dumbs it down. Like we do not need to be intellectual theologians to get this thing right. We don't need to be spiritual detectives. to understand how to operate in an abundance.
00:48:15
Speaker 2: And honestly, that's living in fear. If you're worried about what entities and all that stuff, it's like you have a fear spirit all over you and you're not in, in joy and in agreement that God is holy and more powerful than anything.
00:48:27
Speaker 1: You're afraid that something can penetrate you.
00:48:29
Speaker 2: That's not of God. And that's covering yourself in fear. It's moving the monitor rail in the wrong direction.
00:48:34
Speaker 3: Exactly.
00:48:35
Speaker 1: You're a really good friend to have Hannah. You're a friend that everybody needs.
00:48:39
Speaker 3: Well, I am so glad I'm your friend.
00:48:42
Speaker 1: Will you be my friend?
00:48:43
Speaker 2: I will be your friend, girl. I, cause when I talk to you and I, this is why it's like, it is so important who you surround yourself with because the way you are talking about God, I am leaving. I started this conversation covered in fear and I'm leaving this conversation knowing I have the authority to break that fear and to have God flow through me and that I am not, I.
00:49:06
Speaker 1: Don't have to perform that.
00:49:07
Speaker 2: And that I can, that I can believe that God is always with me, no matter what is happening. Even if I'm, if it scares me to lean stronger into my faith with God and to know that like I am powerful to yeah change the way that I'm dealing the situation and allowing God to be if I feel great just from this one.
00:49:27
Speaker 3: Conversation with you that's the point instead of everyone who walked away from Jesus walked away.
00:49:32
Speaker 2: Feeling great Right, because it's like God, like you said, we have messed it up with all the rules and all the shame and all the fear and all like the, if you don't perform correctly, you're going to hell.
00:49:45
Speaker 1: And then we're just covered. We are covered in fear.
00:49:48
Speaker 3: Like if Jesus walked into a party today, people would be hiding all the bottles.
00:49:53
Speaker 1: When he would go over and- When he was at a party, he's like.
00:49:55
Speaker 3: Hey, we need some more wine. Like, have we forgotten that life could be- An expression of joy. Like, I believe there's a time that we decided to come here. Like, don't forget who you are. Don't forget who you are.
00:50:13
Speaker 1: Like as a human, like coming into this human form.
00:50:15
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:50:15
Speaker 1: Like we chose, our soul chose to experience this.
00:50:19
Speaker 3: And then we forgot.
00:50:20
Speaker 1: Yeah. Forgot everything.
00:50:21
Speaker 3: We forgot that this was like just an expression of God. And we're here to be loved and to show love and to have an adventure. When do we get to be so boring? When did we get to like, okay, clock in, clock out, and forget that this whole life is just a miracle happening in front of us?
00:50:43
Speaker 1: Amen.
00:50:44
Speaker 3: We forgot.
00:50:45
Speaker 1: Forgot it all.
00:50:46
Speaker 2: And then we find people who are telling us otherwise and we believe them.
00:50:49
Speaker 3: Yeah. Like life is hard. What the hell? Ew. What if it doesn't have to be? What if it's not the hustle and grind? What if it's not the daily chores and the labor? When did we learn this? How did we learn this? And what if we could unlearn it? There's a party going on.
00:51:19
Speaker 1: That's way more fun.
00:51:20
Speaker 3: There's way more fun and everyone's invited, but you got to leave all the pretense and the performance out.
00:51:26
Speaker 1: And that's why you wrote this book.
00:51:28
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:51:29
Speaker 1: Are you just sick of it? The false messaging?
00:51:32
Speaker 3: Oh, I've been sick of it for a long time. But that doesn't mean I don't love the people who still believe it. You know? Because we love everyone. And everyone's just doing the best they can with what they got. So what if we could be the message that says, you're actually showing up okay. And God's love is for everyone. Isn't that a happier party to go to? Ugh. Yeah.
00:52:04
Speaker 1: Such a better party.
00:52:06
Speaker 3: Such a better party.
00:52:07
Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
00:52:08
Speaker 3: Like, if you've ever been at a party and you're like, oh, my God.
00:52:11
Speaker 1: This is the worst.
00:52:11
Speaker 3: I've got to come up with an excuse. Like, pretend someone's calling me. Okay.
00:52:16
Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
00:52:17
Speaker 3: Oh, I'm so sorry. Got to go. I can't use me home. Ugh. And then you hear this party going on down the street and you're like, oh, my gosh. Let's go there. There's laughing. They're playing. dancing it's loud it's fun yeah.
00:52:39
Speaker 2: I love it Hannah I'm glad you're out here shouting this from the rooftops because this is going to change this is going to change people's lives because it's what we need to hear yeah we get a lot we get we it's just this is there's nothing in.
00:52:51
Speaker 3: This space everything that is has a Christian stamp on it is so clean that it doesn't touch your humanity right And so why not have amazing, crazy sex and big parties and enjoy life and be an idiot sometimes? Because God covers you in all of it.
00:53:13
Speaker 2: Yes.
00:53:15
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:53:16
Speaker 1: Oh, I love that.
00:53:19
Speaker 2: Will you wrap us up with a prayer? And can you specifically, can I add a little bit for my daughter?
00:53:23
Speaker 1: Because I'm going to join you in commanding her to be healed and to heal my womb.
00:53:28
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:53:28
Speaker 1: And then for everyone listening, can we pray over them as well?
00:53:31
Speaker 3: Yes. Yes. What's your daughter's name?
00:53:33
Speaker 1: Sunny. Sunny. Okay.
00:53:37
Speaker 3: Father God, I thank you so much for this time, for the message, for the words. Father, every ear that it hit, every heart, just give them revelation knowledge of your love for them and the life they could live. And Father, I thank you that there's healing in your wings.
00:53:53
Speaker 2: Yes.
00:53:54
Speaker 3: That by the stripes on your son, Jesus, we are healed. We walk in healing and we have the power to release healing. And right now I just release healing over Sunny. Headaches are not part of her life. They are not allowed in her holy sanctified body. So I command this headache to leave her body. It is not welcome here. Go to hell. You are not allowed to be part of her life. And get to the root, God, whatever is the cause of this headache, whatever is perpetuating it. Father, bring it out into the open where healing happens. And God, I thank you that you love children. You love creation. So Father, I release healing over Caroline's body. Every molecule must perform its function. Every cell must. has to come into alignment under the name of Jesus. Healing in the womb, healing in the bloodstream, healing on a molecular level, God, so that the womb is open and ready. We praise you for it in the name of Jesus. Amen.
00:55:11
Speaker 1: Amen.
00:55:12
Speaker 2: Gosh, Hannah, thank you so much for Your love, your wisdom, your knowledge, sharing it, writing this book, Irreverent Women Bible Study Club. I mean, I feel like this is the book we need to be reading. And I feel like people need to be listening to you. Where can people find you? How can people hear you?
00:55:33
Speaker 3: Actually, Irreverent Women Bible Study Club is also a podcast. And you're going to love it. It's irreverent. Sometimes I drop some four-letter words.
00:55:46
Speaker 1: Yes, you do, queen.
00:55:47
Speaker 3: Okay. But it is powerful. It's anointed. It's digging into the word of God and applying it in a real way and having fun doing it. We cut up a lot. Okay.
00:56:00
Speaker 2: So find your podcast and then your Instagram and all your social media is just.
00:56:05
Speaker 3: Hannah Keeley.
00:56:05
Speaker 1: Hannah Keeley. Okay. Okay. So if people want to hear you speak on a regular basis, go to this podcast.
00:56:11
Speaker 3: Yeah, go to Irreverent Women Bible Study Club.
00:56:13
Speaker 2: Which I feel like it's one of those podcasts I need to just put on in my car.
00:56:15
Speaker 1: Like this is like part of like a Bible study.
00:56:17
Speaker 3: You're going to be so fired up.
00:56:19
Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
00:56:19
Speaker 2: Cause I want to hear a conversation with you. Like I want like the book. I love that we have it in our hands. We can read, but then also I want to hear you speaking this word into me. Cause I'm like, after this one hour conversation, I'm like, I'm a different person now.
00:56:31
Speaker 1: If you're having this with you, I am. And I feel like we all need this. So I love that you have a podcast. That's incredible. And the book it's out. Is it out?
00:56:42
Speaker 3: Yes. Yes.
00:56:43
Speaker 1: It's out. Okay. And is this intended? You are intending this for people to be like a Bible study.
00:56:49
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:56:50
Speaker 3: I mean, you can't like read that and not have some reaction. Yeah.
00:56:56
Speaker 1: I freaking love it.
00:56:57
Speaker 3: I bet it's going to boost your sex life too.
00:57:00
Speaker 1: I'm just saying.
00:57:02
Speaker 3: It's so spicy and so fun. Yes, it is. You'll get a lot of good ideas.
00:57:06
Speaker 2: Tell me what this is on the back though. It says nobody meant for it to go this far.
00:57:10
Speaker 1: Nobody stopped it either. I mean, that's the back of your book. What is that?
00:57:13
Speaker 3: You're just going to have to read it and find out.
00:57:16
Speaker 1: So this is like our tagline here. Yeah.
00:57:19
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:57:20
Speaker 1: Nobody meant for it to go this far. Can you give us a hint?
00:57:23
Speaker 3: It just started as a simple Bible study. Who knew? Who knew?
00:57:27
Speaker 1: God.
00:57:30
Speaker 2: I always wrap up with one question. It's called, I always say, leave your light. What do you want people to know? Drop some inspiration for us.
00:57:37
Speaker 3: Oh my goodness. If you can know anything, just know you're loved. You can do anything if you know love's backing you up, right?
00:57:45
Speaker 1: Right.
00:57:46
Speaker 3: You can go through anything. You can face any challenge. You can He can do anything.
00:57:51
Speaker 1: Amen. Thank you so much, Hannah Keeley, for joining me.
00:57:54
Speaker 2: This was an amazing conversation and divinely inspired for my life. I greatly, this has greatly impacted me. So thank you so much for this conversation, your wisdom, your sharing, your knowledge, your advice, your connection to God and sharing that with all who come in contact with you. It is an honor to have had this. Thank you so much for joining me today.
00:58:16
Speaker 3: Oh, so much fun. I enjoyed it.
00:56:05
