ABOUT THIS EPISODE
The Samsung SDP-850DX Visualizer/Digital Presenter is a great choice for faculty and instructors who love using a traditional chalkboard or overhead projector. You can draw diagrams and solve math problems on a regular sheet of paper with your favorite pen and the activity can be recorded in high quality video. You can zoom in and out on three-dimensional objects easily. The results can be uploaded as a video in BlackBoard or on YouTube or iTunesU. The video below provides examples of the visualizer in action. Presented by Jesse Turnbull, Vitale Digital Media Lab consultant.
Each semester, the Weigle Information Commons hosts Gadget Day, a day-long series of short, hands-on workshops dedicated to the latest gadgets and tools.
