ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Our unique life experiences often lead us to our future careers. Gustavo Ramirez of the Kansas Highway Patrol immigrated to the United States as a young child. His parents worked multiple jobs, which left Gustavo home alone to get into "mischief." His experience in the juvenile detention system provided him the opportunity to envision how he may do things differently as a law enforcement officer.
