ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Boye, Chris, and guest Paul Yurick kick things off reacting to the Minions singing competition that went viral at the premiere and why it was a genius marketing move by Universal (1:00). Then they dive into what everyone's been watching, from House of the Dragon Season 3 and The Bear's final season to Sheep Detectives and Star City (5:10). Chris breaks down his experience at Cannes Lions, what it actually is, why it's getting bigger every year, and whether the oversaturation could hurt it (20:31). They get into Meta launching its own branded glasses with Kylie Jenner, how Snap's AR glasses are landing flat, and why the smart glasses war is just getting started (41:24). And they close out on Comcast spinning off NBCUniversal and why Boye thinks Netflix should be the one to buy it (51:40).
