ABOUT THIS EPISODE
The quest for renewable energy sources has never been more critical. As our world grapples with climate change and the urgent need for sustainable living, solar thermal energy stands out as a beacon of hope. This technology not only captures the sun's vast power but, when combined with innovative energy storage solutions, promises a future where clean, green energy is always available, even when the sun sets.
In this episode, our host Kaushal Chokshi is talking with Garth Schultz on "Capturing the Sun: Revolutionizing the Future with Solar Thermal and Energy Storage".
Garh Schultz founded PowerPanel in 2007. As president and founder, he is responsible for the product line that includes hybrid PVT (Photovoltaic + Thermal) patents and deploying the company’s manufacturing and engineering facility in Oxford, Michigan. In addition to PowerPanel, Garth is also the president of RG Resource Technologies, a leading innovator in turnkey solar technology solutions that can scale easily and deploy quickly. He is developing complementary products based on PowerPanel core technologies to address renewable energy, clean water, and controlled input food production markets.
In this discussion we covered, advancements and challenges of solar thermal technology, the symbiotic relationship between solar energy capture and storage, and the global impact of these innovations.
