00:00:03
Speaker 1: Thank you.
00:00:13
Speaker 2: Hello, everybody, and welcome to a live post-game edition after game one of the NLCS.
00:00:19
Speaker 3: Alana Rizzo, Clint Pasillas with you.
00:00:21
Speaker 2: Katie Wu, of course, is about to make her way into the visiting clubhouse at American Family Field. The Dodgers lose game one to the Milwaukee Brewers. Clint, we knew this was not going to be an easy win. You thought, though, that if you could get past Jacob Mizorowski, which the Dodgers did a good job of getting him out of the game relatively.
00:00:40
Speaker 3: Early, that you could get past him.
00:00:41
Speaker 2: That you might really have a shot, especially on the road. What's your, what's your one big takeaway from this one so far?
00:00:46
Speaker 4: Yeah. The Dodgers into the game with a seven game post-season winning streak against the Milwaukee Brewers. That is now snapped because it says it right there on the screen. The offense could capitalize on nothing today. And I'm not, I'm not giving a lot of that to Jacob Mizorowski. You know, credit where credit was due. He was able to lock in in some moments when he needed to. But yeah, the Dodgers also couldn't capitalize. They, the, Too many double plays, too many guys, well, I guess not enough guys left on base by virtue of the double plays there. But yeah, you know, if you're looking for a silver lining, you made him work. You also got a lot of visuals on there, guys. 85 pitches through four innings. He exits after four and a third over the course of the season through 100 pitches just three different times. Last time it happened was in July, so you knew you weren't going to get him very deep into the game unless he was super economical, but that's not necessarily his game. Did not have the slider going, but yeah, you know, not outside of that ninth inning. There were some inning building and all that kind of stuff that happened early in the game, but the ninth inning I think was, it gives you a little bit of something, question mark, to kind of hang your hat on. You know, we see a DePaula at bat, and of course, ho-hum, it's another walk. Tucker with a walk there off Trevor McGill. A little bit of an effort against the closer there. But yeah, too many missed opportunities for me.
00:02:16
Speaker 3: A lot of missed opportunities.
00:02:18
Speaker 2: You know, and it was funny because at the beginning of the game, it was almost like the script had reversed. It was like the Dodgers were trying to just get guys on, move guys over, use the whole field, go the other way, a little bit of more small ball, which is a page out of Milwaukee's book. And then you have, of course, a home run from Bryce Terang. which is a page out of the Dodgers book. So early on in the game, it was a little bit flipped, but yeah, it's just somebody in our chat said that the Dodgers offense is on a milk carton because that means it's missing.
00:02:48
Speaker 3: Offense, offense is the problem. Again, says Jason diamond Oh three. And it's funny.
00:02:53
Speaker 2: Do you remember Tim Federovich, the, uh, the catcher for the Dodgers for a hot second. And he, I think he's probably, I think he was also with Milwaukee too. He was journey journeyman backup catcher. He said the Dodgers have an Otani problem. He just said that on X a couple of hours ago. And I am concerned about Otani.
00:03:09
Speaker 3: I really am.
00:03:09
Speaker 2: I mean, I've gotten to the point now. And again, it wasn't just Otani today, uh, up and down the lineup. They just didn't really get anything going. Um, but, Otani just looks lost at the plate one for three. I give him that though. He did have the walk, so I can appreciate that, but he just doesn't, he's not the offensive threat that he was before he got hurt. I mean, he's really been this way for the second half of the season. Middle of August is the last time Otani's had a home run. I mean, that's a scary, that's a scary thought to think here we are October 11th and he hasn't had a home run since the middle of August.
00:03:42
Speaker 3: Um, so that is problematic.
00:03:45
Speaker 2: Uh, when you take that threat out of the lineup, uh, that takes a huge piece of your offense away. Uh, and especially when nobody else is hitting either. So this wasn't about pitching today. The Dodgers pitching staff did exactly what they needed to do. Um, you know, again, you're, you mentioned it too, having three double plays, uh, hitting into three double plays, you know, they led major league baseball during the regular season. And as far as hitting into double plays. So, That kind of carried over into the NLCS, and that's not going to get the job done.
00:04:14
Speaker 4: Yeah, it's every bit of how they got here, I guess. Too many double plays, some of the missed opportunities. It feels like at times they rely a little too much on the two-out offense, on something to kind of spark them. In this game in particular, you saw them starting to try to stack some innings. uh with probably already like one out in the inning and all that kind of stuff uh going back to the show hey yeah i mean show hey again is you need more out of show hey definitely not the problem i need to see more out of william dill smith entered this series one for 16 in the postseason um he i thought what didn't he hit into the first double play uh no one of the double plays he hit into I forget which one.
00:05:01
Speaker 3: I think it was the second one. I think it was the second one.
00:05:04
Speaker 4: But these guys are coming up. Him, Shohei coming up with runners on. Andy Pa has had an opportunity as well. The Kike one, that was the one that happened first. That one was really painful. And I will say, love me some Kike. Love me some postseason Kike. This game, to me, felt a little forced. I understand Dave wanted to try to ride the Kike hand. I wouldn't necessarily say it was the hot hand. I'm not going to say it was a cold hand either, but I don't know. That one felt forced in this game. I think I would have liked maybe, I don't know if I would have liked the compete or the at-bats or the whatever more out of Tommy Edmond at second base, but 105, Kike, I don't know. Also, did not. He was not the guy who lost this game for this team either, and he might be in there tomorrow. It might be Tommy Edmond tomorrow, but that was one of those things I flagged. Really early, I mentioned to some people, you know, in a message, I'm like, yeah, I love Kike, but I didn't like him in this game so much.
00:06:08

00:07:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not certain if he was forcing the issue or not. Maybe I don't know the numbers, you know, of Kike going up against Mizorowski, Edmund going up against Mizorowski. Some people in the chat were questioning why they let Josue de Paula.
00:07:23
Speaker 3: Pinch hit for Kike in that situation.
00:07:25
Speaker 2: But, I mean, you like the fact that he drew a walk, you know, just get guys on bait, force the issue against McGill there to make the closer play.
00:07:34
Speaker 3: Shaking his cleats a little bit.
00:07:36
Speaker 2: You know, you give up two walks to Kyle Tucker and then, of course, to DePaula, and you're hoping that Mookie can do something there.
00:07:41
Speaker 3: And he just, you know, he gave it a ride.
00:07:43
Speaker 2: It just wasn't a long enough ride, obviously, flying out to center field there. So this one was just kind of like a blah. It was just a blah game. And, again, I said this earlier, and we were talking to Ken Rosenthal about it, too, on Fair Territory. You know, it's like if you– If you are able to get Jacob Mizorowski out of the game early, which the Dodgers did, or if you were able to win a game in which Jacob Mizorowski is on the hill to start, then does the rest of their entourage, if you will, crumble? And you can't really look ahead because Henderson is nothing to sneeze at, right?
00:08:15
Speaker 3: I mean, obviously, you're fortunate because you.
00:08:17
Speaker 2: Have Yamamoto going up against him. to oppose him, but he's not, and now they feel good about themselves, right? He's nothing, he's a very good pitcher as well, so you have to, have to, have to get game two, because you do not want to, wow, this guy's really angry. Go back to Madison, Wisconsin, apparently I'm a traitor, because... I lived in Wisconsin for three years and worked at CBS.
00:08:44
Speaker 1: Okay.
00:08:45
Speaker 3: He has very foul language as well. Yamamoto. Yamamoto 112.
00:08:50
Speaker 4: Well, that guy could fuck all the way off. He's been kicked out.
00:08:55
Speaker 3: All the way.
00:08:56
Speaker 2: So, you know, this was just a bad game. It was just kind of a ho-hum, ho-hum game. Nobody did anything horribly. The double plays killed us. There was just no offense and started pitching.
00:09:08
Speaker 4: Yeah, I wouldn't– I mean– I don't disagree with the idea of a bad game. Maybe bad game is a half step too far. Definitely, like we were saying before going live, it was meh, it was blah, it was bleh, whatever letter you would like to mix in there. You could argue it was bad based on the Dodgers' efforts offensively, but take into consideration, they saw, and this is part of the silver lining, they saw every one of their aces, every one of their best arms, both in the Miz and in the bullpen with McGill, with Abner Uribe. Aaron Ashby threw a lot of pitches in there. D.L. Hall is kind of the other guy who's just like one tier below that Pat Murphy has kind of turned to a lot as the season has trudged on in this postseason. So if you are looking for something, Pa, again, not that people are going to be like, oh, we made him throw a lot of pitches, and that's what you can hang your hat on. But you can kind of hang your hat on the fact that You made it work and you got looks.
00:10:11
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:10:11
Speaker 2: It might be something that is going to be a factor in a seven game series. You know, when you're, when you're going to need, if you can knock their starters out of the game early and you need more of a bullpen game from these guys, that could be a factor moving forward. So, I mean, yeah, if you're looking for silver linings, the fact that they had to throw a million pitches, that's helpful. If you're looking for something positive, that perhaps is a good thing. Let me ask you this. There's a question posed in the chat, and it's a good one. Do you continue to hit William Dill Smith third?
00:10:43
Speaker 4: I'm going to search that so we can pop it on the screen because it is one of also the big questions that I flagged. I guess I don't need it because you already asked it. It's a conversation. It's a conversation this team needs to have because, again, it's not a very good postseason. We are now, what, one for quick math, one for 19 on the postseason. Did earn a walk today, but he gave one kind of a ride. I guess if you're looking to have your center fielder shag some fly balls just to get some routes, it was a good play or a good hit, but not so much for trying to put points on the board. I think the conversation needs to be who's going to give you the best at bat out of that, that number three spot, especially if it's going to continue to be Mookie leading off and then a lefty and Freddie, I would not move Freddie at all. So do you, do you plug Tao in there? Do you consider moving another lefty up? Kyle Tucker is given this team really good at bats. That is something that is worth noting, but also do you want to take that away from lower in the lineup? So it is a tough conversation. You know, Tao, a couple of knocks today, one really, really good swing in that, I think it was that second inning or the third inning, whenever it was, second inning, when they loaded the bases and couldn't do anything with it. But yeah, maybe flipping those, but Will definitely needs to be moved down right now. And I don't know that game is speeding up for him, but just to let it slow down a little bit and hopefully find him a little bit less.
00:12:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, that's the thing. Again, and I've said this before, and I will continue to say this. His biggest job, his biggest responsibility is managing the pitching staff and calling the right pitches.
00:12:27
Speaker 3: I was going to say putting the fingers down, but we don't do that anymore.
00:12:30
Speaker 2: But, you know, you would like to get some offense from a guy that you're accustomed to getting offense from, right?
00:12:35
Speaker 4: Especially in the postseason.
00:12:37
Speaker 2: Especially in the postseason, and that just hasn't been there for Will, for Otani. I mean, I think Otani's hurt more than he's letting on, or more than we know, because his mechanics are all over the place, and he just doesn't look good right now.
00:12:51
Speaker 4: I mean, hey, 105 miles an hour is probably pretty tough to hit.
00:12:55
Speaker 3: I get it. I get it. But he hasn't been right.
00:12:57
Speaker 2: I mean, he did in– In the NLDS, the last game of the NLDS, he did look better. Dave Roberts said that he liked the patience at the plate, and he did look better. But by and large, to me, he just doesn't seem like a threat right now.
00:13:12
Speaker 3: Like, Otani, you're figuring. I mean, two years ago, he was 50-50. You know what I mean? Like, he's just not that guy.
00:13:17
Speaker 4: He's not that guy.
00:13:19
Speaker 2: He's not that guy right now. I'm not saying Shohei can't get back to that guy. I'm just saying he's not that guy at the moment when we need him the most.
00:13:27
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:13:28
Speaker 4: Uh no absolutely and and i said this uh yesterday in like a keys of the series where you know i i don't know i like to give here on the internet and make sure people don't think that i'm just going to be out here full dodger homer hat on i don't even wear a dodger hat i wear my own podcast merch here check it out um we can only get it from one dodger territory shop.com but anyways Uh, I did want to make sure people understand that the Brewers are a team that can beat the Dodgers. They a hundred percent can. They are very good team. They were good throughout the regular season. They got better, uh, from last season. What you and I and Katie also talked about on Thursday, they are a better club. They have better pitching and we always knew this was going to be a longer series. Um, I'm going to throw this chat up from Pibbles 9 because I feel like we are kind of leaning more negative. It's one game. To borrow from my buddy Jeff Snyder, something that pisses everybody off, it's just one game. Not that he would say that in the postseason, but Pibbles is saying, I don't know, I feel good still. I like they made Mizorowski throw a lot of pitches. I like the at-bats. They got some hits. It was a one-run game. It's a seven-game series. It's not over yet.
00:14:35
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:14:36
Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I agree. I agree. I agree with Pimples nine. Absolutely.
00:14:39
Speaker 2: I still think the Dodgers when I, I personally think the Dodgers went in six, I've always thought the Dodgers were going to win in six, but this is not a team that's just going to bend over in the Milwaukee Brewers. This is a very good team. And I think the whole narrative that this is David versus Goliath is overplayed because last year you could, you could perhaps say that, but this is a very good team that we've been talking about. They won 103 games in the regular season. You guys, they have Obviously, they have home field advantage throughout. The Dodgers, I think they were what? They beat the Dodgers 4-3 in the season series, I believe, over the course of the 2026 regular season. This is a very good team, and they play baseball a very opposite way that the Dodgers do, but they're very good with the personnel that they have, getting results from the type of lineup construction that they have and the personnel that their front office puts together. For a small market club, they do things differently.
00:15:29
Speaker 3: The right way.
00:15:30
Speaker 2: And they're very well managed. Pat Murphy is a very good coach back to back. I want to say he's back to back nationally manager of the year. So this is a club that knows what they're doing.
00:15:40
Speaker 3: They pay attention.
00:15:41
Speaker 2: And unlike the New York Yankees, unlike some of the other clubs, um, the Red Sox, the big, big market clubs that don't play fundamentally sound baseball, and it has hurt them in the, in the areas in which it matters the most, um, the Brewers will catch the ball and they will defend. So they may not slug you to death, but they will play the game the right way. They do not make mental errors.
00:16:04
Speaker 4: No, no, definitely not. Not under Pat Murphy's watch. And we saw something earlier this season where they ended up benching the rookie Cooper Pratt for not running out of ground ball. It doesn't matter if you are a veteran, if you are a very highly regarded rookie. they are going to make sure you're playing the game the right way. And this is where Dave and Murph have such, you know, like they get along, they mesh so well and, you know, have worked together in the past when neither of them were picked for that Padres job. You know, like this is what they do. They make sure their ball clubs are equipped to win.
00:16:44

00:17:08
Speaker 4: I'm definitely going to a Brewers game.
00:17:10
Speaker 5: There's no bad seats in Milwaukee because the stadium is right on top of the field.
00:17:15
Speaker 4: It feels like You're in the grass. And you know what?

00:17:44
Speaker 4: Before we continue on, Or as we continue on. We've talked about all the other things. Let's talk a little more about the Scooble side of things.
00:17:53
Speaker 3: He pitched great. He pitched really well.
00:17:56
Speaker 2: He dominated and he just looked so locked in. I mean, it was just like he didn't seem like anything faced him at all. I mean, you can see the pitch mix there. Obviously, that four-seam fastball was working really, really well. He has had tremendous postseason outings. All three of his, I guess now four, postseason outings in his career have been really, really good.
00:18:19
Speaker 3: He's been tremendous.
00:18:20
Speaker 2: I mean, five innings, giving up the five hits, but he didn't, you know, You'll give him.
00:18:25
Speaker 5: The home run.
00:18:26
Speaker 2: That's a solo shot. Usually solo shots don't kill you. I mean, this was a tight game, right?
00:18:29
Speaker 3: Two to one.
00:18:30
Speaker 2: You'll take that. That's what you expect in the postseason. I thought Tarek Skubal pitched really well. You tip your cap to Bryce Terang. Tarek Skubal absolutely did his job tonight. You think if your starting pitcher only gives up two earned runs, you expect to win the ballgame. It was just that he was opposed on the other side of probably the NL Cy Young award winner.
00:18:53
Speaker 3: You know what I mean? So it's like, well, I mean, that's what you want. It's usually ace against ace.
00:18:57
Speaker 2: And the beauty is tomorrow we have another ace is equally good as Tarek Scoble, maybe if not better, who happened to be the world series MVP last year. So that's where, that's where I think the, the difference is going to be made in the fact that look at our starting staff compared to theirs, compared to anybody's honestly.
00:19:15
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:19:15
Speaker 4: As, as good, as much credit as we, we, um, I'll say that Logan Henderson deserves had a fantastic year. He is a rookie and, um, Yoshinobu Yamamoto is a postseason dog. He is a World Series MVP. He is a two-time World Series champion, all this kind of stuff. The moment does not faze him. Maybe the game can get a little quick on somebody like Henderson. I think him pitching at home probably helps him out a whole lot. Yamamoto pitching well on the road helps him out a whole lot, and it's going to be a battle, but it's still going to come down to the same thing that it was going to come down to. entering this game today. If they, if you get a hit, they give you a walk. If you find a way to get on via an error, you need to capitalize. You need to put, you know, I don't care if it's even a white picket fence with one, one, one, one, you need to score on the innings where you have opportunities. If there's bases loaded, And two, sorry, fewer than two outs. Cough, cough, Kike. That run's got to come home. I don't care. You need to be selling out to hit a fly ball.
00:20:17
Speaker 3: And that's kind of what I was thinking, too, with Mookie there. It's like you just need a single, man. It's like I understand. It's easier for us to sit here. I couldn't even make contact.
00:20:26
Speaker 4: Baseball is hard.
00:20:28
Speaker 3: Get a ball out of the infield. I get it.
00:20:30
Speaker 2: But it's like right there in that situation, you know, you just get a single. You know, get Kyle Tucker in from second at that point.
00:20:38
Speaker 3: Yeah. You know, it is what it is. It is what it is.
00:20:42
Speaker 4: Yeah, but to wrap up the Schuble stuff, and then we'll look ahead to tomorrow, and then we'll hang out with some chats before signing off. Perfectly good. That's what you pay him for. Definitely could have gone longer. I think, what, 81 pitches through the five innings? But at that moment, there was no reason to give Milwaukee another look, especially when you have a rested bullpen and you have a day off on Tuesday. Zero reason because he is going to factor in heavily still in the series, whether it's game five or six.
00:21:14
Speaker 2: I was going to say, I think he's your game five starter right now. So yeah, you're right. You've got to play this in the long haul. And again, he gave up two earned runs. He absolutely did his job. You'd think that you can.
00:21:25
Speaker 2: Scratch and claw a couple of runs against a very formidable bullpen.
00:21:29
Speaker 3: I get it.
00:21:29
Speaker 2: But, you know, at a certain point, one of our one of our stars has to be a star in this series.
00:21:35
Speaker 6: Right.
00:21:36
Speaker 2: I mean, the Dodgers were one for six with runners in scoring position. So far, they're two for twenty two in the postseason. That's not going to get it done. So they're getting guys on. They're just not bringing guys in. At some point, it needs to be one of these superstars. and perennial all-stars and MVPs and those types of things, one of those guys has to come up with that clutch hit in a key situation. And I do believe that will happen. It just has not happened so far in the NLCS.
00:22:01
Speaker 4: So far, the lone clutch hit or the most clutch hit has been Andy Pahez, which is last time I checked how much he makes per year. It starts with a seven and not a I guess Shohei kind of a 70.
00:22:18
Speaker 2: He is an all-star, but he's not the first person you think of when you think of offensive juggernaut for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
00:22:25
Speaker 4: There are fewer zeros is what I was trying to say on his paycheck. Quick shout also for the bullpen. Vessia works around the leadoff walk, faces the minimum, two punches in there. Evan Phillips has been fantastic over the last month and a half, two months, whatever it is, and the postseason as well. Pitches the seventh. three punches in there and tanner scott with the scoreless eighth it wasn't pretty but it's scoreless and that's the most important part he was able he was able to keep it right there keep it close uh what do we say let's look ahead at tomorrow's game game two with our friends at fox one we got a good one we already talked about it yamamoto henderson um dodgers need to win this game Yeah, they do.
00:23:15
Speaker 2: They absolutely do. They need to win game two. So you're, then you're, then you're starting over again. Right. And again, seven game series, anything can happen, but you don't want to, I mean, yes, of course you'd love to come back.
00:23:24
Speaker 3: What is it?
00:23:25
Speaker 2: Two, three, two. So yeah.
00:23:26
Speaker 3: I mean, if you lose, if you lose game two, at least you get to come home, but that's not what you want.
00:23:30
Speaker 2: If you, if you figure, if you can split on the road and again, I don't think you hold, I don't think you hang your hat. Uh, if you lose to Jacob Mizorowski, you know what I mean? Like you hope that you, if you, you feel lucky, I guess if you say, Hey man, we beat their ACE and now, We take game one.
00:23:45
Speaker 3: You always want game one.
00:23:46
Speaker 2: But if you can at least split on the road, you pretty much love your chances coming back home, even if it has to go back to Milwaukee. You take two of three at home. You go back to Milwaukee. You win game two. You take two of three at home.
00:24:00
Speaker 3: You're going back with the lead. So I'll take it.
00:24:03
Speaker 4: Yeah. I will call it a must win as well because you feel a lot better heading to L.A.
00:24:10
Speaker 1: 1-1.
00:24:11
Speaker 4: Then down 0-2. And you got to beat that. You got to beat them when you got Yama on the bumps. So I feel real good about this. I feel real good about the series. If you guys saw the little basketball corgi that whatever he gets paid, it's not enough. He said the Dodgers were going to lose game one either way. So he's going to be great. I forgot how he said.
00:24:33
Speaker 3: I don't know. That corgi, man.
00:24:35
Speaker 4: Have you ever been on that page, by the way? That dog is– I've seen it. That dog puts in work.
00:24:41
Speaker 3: I've seen it, yeah.
00:24:42
Speaker 4: I hope they got a little doggy masseuse for his hind legs there. Always having to.
00:24:48
Speaker 3: Do the jump.
00:24:49
Speaker 2: Did you see the corgi race where the corgi looked back?
00:24:53
Speaker 3: It was diabolical. I did not.
00:24:55
Speaker 2: It was at a football game, and he was running. He was running against other corgis. But he was so far ahead. He's like the Flash, the Freeze, the Freeze in Atlanta.
00:25:06
Speaker 1: Gotcha.
00:25:06
Speaker 2: He just looked back, and it was just diabolical. He was so far ahead of everybody.
00:25:10
Speaker 4: For more Corgi content, make sure you guys are subscribed. to all Dodgers. And then Riz, why don't you tell them about MLB on Fox and Fox.
00:25:18

00:25:47
Speaker 4: We always appreciate Fox. We always appreciate anybody who is kind enough to support us with their hard-earned cheddar. We got a super chat here, 999MHDodgerLife. It says, we got beat by the Homer ball, small ball. Offense, terrible. Milwaukee backed up their ace, and we didn't do anything for Schuble. Hopefully, this is the most concerning game loss. Too many concerns. Otani, offense, Smith, yeah. We agree. They didn't find a homer. This is where you do worry about being so homer-reliant as an offense. But, again, hopefully this is one of those games that with seeing their performance relievers they're ace relievers so many times like you put in work today that could pay dividends in games three four five six i'm not going to do six.
00:26:38
Speaker 2: Seven yeah it wasn't a blow up it's not like they lost ten to three you you can understand a two to one game when you have mizorowski on the hill.
00:26:47
Speaker 3: Although they did have opportunities to get.
00:26:48
Speaker 2: To him and they didn't and i think that's the concerning part you can't leave guys on base again one for six with runners in scoring position that's not going to get the job done.
00:26:56
Speaker 3: I think if they would have won this game, they would have felt like, hey, we kind.
00:26:58
Speaker 2: Of stole one here, right? An opportunity with Yama on the hill. You could have gone up 2-0 going back to LA. That would have felt pretty great. But in my opinion, you have to win tomorrow.
00:27:08
Speaker 4: Great point. Great point. We got another– we got 499 here, 21 Eric LA. I honestly feel they took better swings and had a more patient time at the plate when Miz was in the game. Once he was out, they looked– it looked bad. I think they probably– Probably the game plan, the messaging was, let's get him out early and attack their relievers. Didn't work today.
00:27:31
Speaker 5: Yeah.
00:27:31
Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, they have a good, but they do have a good bullpen. But yeah, I mean, absolutely.
00:27:36
Speaker 2: If you're going to, if you're going up against a guy that throws 105 miles an hour for every single dang pitch, and he's going to win the Cy Young award in the National League, you'd probably feel pretty great if you're knocking him out of the game in the fourth or fifth inning. And that's what they did today. They just couldn't do anything against their bullpen either.
00:27:50
Speaker 3: So.
00:27:52
Speaker 4: Care to comment here, Joe? And this is a nice version of it. Joe says, Alana is a closet Brewers fan from her time in Wisconsin. At least he's not being mean.
00:28:01
Speaker 2: I have to say, no, I don't mind that. No, I mean, I respect the Brewers. Sure, I mean, if the Dodgers aren't in it, do I want the Brewers to go all the way?
00:28:09
Speaker 3: Sure. I mean, at this point, if the Dodgers.
00:28:11
Speaker 2: Lose to the Brewers, which I don't think is going to happen, I think the Dodgers win in six. But I would love it if the Brewers won the World Series. If we're not in it, I'd rather a National League team win. win than an American league team. Right. But yeah, I mean, they're, they're well coached. I had a great time in Milwaukee. I lived in Madison for three years. Um, that was, that was a lot of fun, but I am not a closet Brewers fan.
00:28:31
Speaker 4: Dodgers all the way. Or also whoever's paying us that day, we will be a fan. Uh, dollar 99, our friend Latino slant in the chat.
00:28:40
Speaker 3: So there we go.
00:28:42
Speaker 4: Let's keep the faith and get a wind tomorrow. I think we could say it's going to be great.
00:28:50
Speaker 3: It's going to be great.
00:28:51
Speaker 4: We still feel good. We still feel, still feel like the Dodgers are the better team.
00:28:57
Speaker 3: Yes.
00:28:57
Speaker 4: Even if they didn't win 103 games this year, they still won a hundred. They are a very good ball club. You got anything else for me?
00:29:03
Speaker 1: No.
00:29:03
Speaker 2: Uh, good night guys. Thanks for being here. Remember it's a weird start time tomorrow, right?
00:29:07
Speaker 3: It's like what?
00:29:07
Speaker 2: Five o'clock here, two o'clock in LA. So, uh, we will be, Clint and I will be with you right after the game as we were tonight. And don't forget to check out Katie stuff. Uh, all the stuff that she's writing on the athletic as well.
00:29:18
Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely. And, Make sure you watch, even if the Rams game starts tomorrow, watch us during the Rams. You got a phone, you got a device, you got super chats. We appreciate you. And we'll see you tomorrow after the Dodgers win game two. Bye.

00:16:44
Speaker 1: The 2026 MLB playoffs are here. And guess what? Seat Geek has you covered. Let's go. 00:17:08
Speaker 4: I'm definitely going to a Brewers game.
00:17:10
Speaker 5: There's no bad seats in Milwaukee because the stadium is right on top of the field.
00:17:15
Speaker 4: It feels like You're in the grass. And you know what?

Bye.
