ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Jack feels that some films just come out at the wrong place and time. They're overlooked or overshadowed by a similar film released weeks apart or maybe they get a more successful remake... maybe they even get a TV series. It almost feels like you need an excuse to watch these films when the "superior" version exists... Or something like that. Ask Jack for more details... we're doing overshadowed films.
What series of unfortunate events has led this Jim Carrey blockbuster to become overlooked? Well, this is not a story that has a happy ending, or even really any ending that ties together some of the main plot points... Jack has chosen Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events as his overshadowed film!
As always prepare for some hot takes, deep film analysis, someone losing the plot, a bit of banter, a few good taglines, an existential crisis question, a wee quiz and our final scores.
