ABOUT THIS PODCAST 🔗
FASD Informed is produced by NCFASD Informed, a 501c3 nonprofit organization in North Carolina. This series of podcasts aims to further NCFASD Informed's mission: to create FASD informed communities to empower individuals impacted by prenatal exposure to alcohol. A 2018 study showed that an estimate 1 in 20 individuals, in the US, has a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). FASD is a lifelong disability that affects the brain and body. Unfortunately, 90% of those individuals are misdiagnosed or have a missing diagnosis.
