00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:00.640
What up everybody?
00:00:00.719 --> 00:00:03.359
It's your girl Kelvia here to bring you some more sports updates.
00:00:03.439 --> 00:00:05.599
You're watching this on Yo Chale, therefore you know what to do.

00:00:10.000 --> 00:00:12.720
We have reached the quarterfinals of the World Cup.
00:00:12.880 --> 00:00:17.359
We're getting closer to the end of the World Cup, which means we're getting less games in the World Cup.
00:00:17.519 --> 00:00:20.960
Today we start the quarterfinals with Morocco taking on France.
00:00:21.120 --> 00:00:24.160
A very big one, if you ask me, in the quarterfinals.
00:00:24.480 --> 00:00:33.759
The last time they faced each other in the World Cup was in the 2022 World Cup semi-finals, and France got the better hand and went to the finals.
00:00:34.000 --> 00:00:44.479
But this time, I feel like all eyes are on Morocco just because Morocco are the last African team standing, so they might feel a lot of pressure on their bags.
00:00:44.560 --> 00:00:48.159
But I don't think it should be something that would face the Moroccan team.
00:00:48.240 --> 00:00:54.960
They are good, they are solid, so they should probably go head to head with France in this game.
00:00:55.119 --> 00:01:06.560
However, there's a lot of controversy on this game, and there will be a lot of eyes on this game because a lot of people were talking about the fact that the game is going to be refreed by Argentines, right?
00:01:06.799 --> 00:01:18.879
So there were conversations during you know the Argentine-Egypt game where it just felt like the game was manipulated a bit for Mercy and Argentina.
00:01:19.120 --> 00:01:27.519
So people kind of feel like FIFA are rigging the World Cup, and this time an Argentine is going to referee the game.
00:01:27.760 --> 00:01:29.519
It's just more controversy.
00:01:29.680 --> 00:01:36.959
Hopefully, there's nothing crazy that happens in this game, everything goes solid, and Morocco or France come out of the game.
00:01:37.200 --> 00:01:39.439
But Morocco have a big blow in the team.
00:01:39.519 --> 00:01:47.760
They are missing out on their star man, Ishmael Sabari, who has scored most of their goals in this tournament for Morocco.
00:01:47.920 --> 00:01:53.120
He got injured in their last game against Canada, and they don't want to risk him in this game.
00:01:53.200 --> 00:01:54.719
Therefore, he's going to be arrested.
00:01:55.120 --> 00:01:58.079
Wouldn't play any of the game against France.
00:01:58.239 --> 00:02:00.000
Would that affect Morocco that much?
00:02:00.159 --> 00:02:01.280
I don't think so.
00:02:01.519 --> 00:02:09.199
Because even in the game against Canada, he got injured earlier on, but they still were able to manage a win against Canada.
00:02:09.280 --> 00:02:17.199
And they still have star players in that team to go head to head with France and give France a really tough game.
00:02:17.439 --> 00:02:21.039
Definitely, France are coming to this knowing it's going to be tough, not easy.
00:02:21.199 --> 00:02:26.960
Morocco are now a very tough team to play in the World Cup.
00:02:27.199 --> 00:02:32.560
So France would definitely know it's not going to be a walk in the pack, but it's definitely going to be an interesting one.
00:02:32.639 --> 00:02:38.719
I I would see goals honestly, goals here, goals there, and may the best team win.
00:02:38.960 --> 00:02:40.639
So, who are you supporting?
00:02:40.719 --> 00:02:42.560
Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
00:02:42.800 --> 00:02:44.240
Good news for Ghana.
00:02:44.479 --> 00:02:54.560
Fabrizio Roman announced it yesterday that we have signed a Ghanaian 18-year-old international player named Immanuel Abraqua.
00:02:54.960 --> 00:03:02.400
This is such a big one for Ghana, and even Fabrizio Roman being the one to announce it on his page, just meant so much for Ghanaians.
00:03:02.560 --> 00:03:11.120
And it was just it was everyone was just happy, and there were so many congratulations on the TL yesterday when it was announced.
00:03:11.280 --> 00:03:15.919
He's a winger that plays for Adabraca Elders, which is a Ghanaian team.
00:03:16.000 --> 00:03:17.759
So they are literally scouting him.
00:03:18.000 --> 00:03:21.520
Sevilla is literally picking him up from a Ghanaian team.
00:03:21.680 --> 00:03:24.960
This is the first time this has ever occurred for Sevilla.
00:03:25.120 --> 00:03:29.120
This is the first time they are getting a Ghanaian player in the team.
00:03:29.360 --> 00:03:44.800
And it's nice to see this just builds confidence for you know our youngsters, those that look up to the Black Stars and hope that one day they would be the ones playing for the Black Stars and playing to represent Ghana.
00:03:44.960 --> 00:03:50.479
And it's nice to see different Ghanaian players represented in Europe and the big European leagues.
00:03:50.719 --> 00:03:52.960
And this is the latest news.
00:03:53.520 --> 00:03:55.680
And we are happy, we're very happy.
00:03:55.759 --> 00:04:05.759
And hopefully, this will pave way for other youngsters to be scouted to get the opportunity to play for these big European teams.
00:04:16.319 --> 00:04:18.480
And it's just it's great to see.
00:04:18.720 --> 00:04:26.240
So um Immanuel is going to sign a contract that's is going to run till 2029.
00:04:26.639 --> 00:04:32.480
So that's like four years in Sevilla, and hopefully, we wish him all the best.
00:04:32.720 --> 00:04:45.839
He does the very best at Sevilla, and it's just higher from here, moves from Sevilla to even a bigger, a bigger club, and we get to see him probably in the future of the Black Stars.
00:04:46.240 --> 00:04:47.600
So, what are your thoughts?
00:04:47.680 --> 00:04:49.199
Let me know in the comments.
00:04:49.439 --> 00:04:51.600
Moving on to our last story, Basa.
00:04:51.839 --> 00:04:54.000
Basa are doing their big one in the transfer window.
00:04:54.079 --> 00:04:59.519
They've signed a new player, Karim Adayemi, from Dotmond.
00:04:59.600 --> 00:05:03.680
He is going to be part of their team in the next season.
00:05:03.839 --> 00:05:06.399
They are for they are trying to strengthen their forward.
00:05:06.480 --> 00:05:11.040
They already have Yamao, they've strengthened it with getting Gordon into the team.
00:05:11.199 --> 00:05:12.720
They didn't want to keep Rushford.
00:05:12.879 --> 00:05:18.959
I'm watching you basa, but they seem to want to strengthen their attack next season.
00:05:19.040 --> 00:05:22.000
And this is definitely a good addition to the team.
00:05:22.319 --> 00:05:27.600
He brings speed, and you know, sometimes you need that in your team and skill.
00:05:28.000 --> 00:05:29.199
Hopefully, he does what Basa.
00:05:29.439 --> 00:05:32.079
If he doesn't do well, we would definitely be the ones to come for him.
00:05:32.240 --> 00:05:35.759
But Basa really be doing they'll be doing the most in this transfer window.
00:05:35.920 --> 00:05:43.279
Real Madrid as well are doing things, but I feel like Basa are replying with the signings they are making as well.
00:05:43.439 --> 00:05:49.439
Manchester United have also agreed to sign a new midfielder, Andre Santos, from Chelsea.
00:05:49.600 --> 00:05:59.040
They've lost Casemiro and he left as a free agent, therefore, they needed to make some changes to the midfield, and they decided to start with Andre Santos.
00:05:59.199 --> 00:06:03.120
I mean, I don't know how to feel about this as a United fan myself.
00:06:03.279 --> 00:06:09.600
I feel like all United fans are on the fence about this because we don't really know much about him.
00:06:09.680 --> 00:06:26.560
And the fact that he's been on Chelsea's bench most of the time, he's played like probably 24 games, hasn't really been active for Chelsea, so it's crazy to us that they are we are going for a player like this, and you know, Chelsea have a thing for always scamming us.
00:06:26.639 --> 00:06:30.800
We got mounts from them 60 million, and then he's been injury prone, right?
00:06:30.879 --> 00:06:35.279
And we paid them back and gave them Ganacho, and he hasn't been so great for them.
00:06:35.439 --> 00:06:45.360
But then I don't know why we keep going to do transactions with Chelsea, something must stop, but I'm not going to judge I'm not going to judge Santos right now because I'm trying to be positive.
00:06:45.519 --> 00:06:47.279
So let the new season start.
00:06:47.360 --> 00:06:50.399
Let's see how it plays, and hopefully, we hope for the best.
00:06:50.639 --> 00:06:53.680
But yeah, that's all the updates I have for you.
