ABOUT THIS EPISODE
The Bridge I Timothy 2:1-6 ERV
"Man was too sinful to make contact with God, and God was too holy to have interaction with man — so Jesus became the bridge." In this message, Bishop Dale C. Bronner unpacks 1 Timothy 2:1–6 and the life of Andrew, the "first called" apostle, to show what it means to be a bridge — someone who connects people to Jesus even when no one else notices. From Andrew's overlooked faithfulness to David's fifteen-year wait between anointing and crown, to the way God intentionally leaves gaps in our lives to keep us dependent on Him, this message is a call to be quick to follow Jesus, intentional about bringing others to Him, and faithful even without the spotlight.
You'll learn:
- Why Jesus is described as the one mediator between God and man, and what that means practically
- The story of Andrew — an uneducated fisherman from a cursed city who became the "first called" apostle
- Why a change of name (Simon to Peter) represents a change of identity
- How God works through unresolved gaps in our lives to build humility and dependence on Him
- Why sharing your own story is the fastest bridge between two hearts ("Operation Andrew")
