ABOUT THIS EPISODE
In this episode of the Epic Entrepreneur Podcast, host Caitlin Blundel talks with James, Managing Director of MTM Consulting, about his journey from junior analyst to leading a million-pound education consultancy. James shares the three habits that have shaped his success: understanding his strengths and weaknesses, taking strategic time away from work, and making decisive calls—even if they’re not perfect. He reflects on scaling MTM from £200k to £1.4M in five years, the growing pains of building infrastructure, and why having a coach has been pivotal for growth and sanity. It’s a candid conversation on leadership, resilience, and embracing the constant challenges that come with growth.
