ABOUT THIS EPISODE
It’s possible to admire Jesus—and still sense there is more.
In Part 2 of the Come and See Conference series, Lisa invites listeners to examine the quiet tension many believers carry: knowing about Jesus without truly knowing Him. Drawing from Matthew 16, the life of Peter, and the difference between spectatorship and discipleship, this message explores why transformation falters when faith is built on information alone.
Rather than rushing toward imitation, Lisa slows the conversation down—emphasizing intimacy before response, revelation before movement, and encounter before expression. This teaching speaks to those who feel unsatisfied with surface-level faith and long for a deeper, more personal knowing of Jesus.
This message will help you reflect on:
- The difference between observing Jesus and walking with Him
- Why revelation often precedes transformation
- How personal encounter reshapes the way we follow
- Why faith rooted in relationship carries endurance and depth
- How knowing who Jesus is to you changes everything
Discipleship doesn’t begin with performance—it begins with relationship.
And following Jesus flows naturally from truly knowing Him.
