ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Four weeks after finishing Larapinta, I was preparing for the Sydney Marathon. Then our dog Willow was diagnosed with cancer, and our plans changed very quickly.
In this clip, I reflect on the ambition–capacity gap: what happens when you still care deeply about your goals, but life changes how much you can hold. How do you stay aligned with your ultimate summit while letting the immediate plan change? And how do you recognise what’s beyond your control?
What has changed around you faster than your capacity to hold it?
