ABOUT THIS EPISODE
The Rockies finally snapped the losing streak with a gritty 3-2 win over Houston, and we break it all down on this late-night edition of the Rockies Now Podcast. Chase Dollander stole the show with a dominant relief outing, striking out nine Astros over 5.1 innings and showing once again why he’s one of the most exciting young arms in baseball. We also discuss Hunter Goodman’s continued power surge, Brenton Doyle and Tyler Freeman sparking the offense, and the bullpen locking things down late to secure the win. Plus, we dive into the massive ownership news surrounding the Penner group purchasing a 40% stake in the Rockies and what it could mean for the future of the franchise. We also recap the tough Padres and Astros road trip, defensive improvements, playoff talk around Denver sports, and why there may finally be reason for Rockies fans to believe better days are ahead.
