ABOUT THIS EPISODE
When I was growing up in England I remember seeing the Stuart Highway in Australia, running down the centre of the continent from top to bottom. Actually driving it 4 times was an adventure, meeting random people, seeing random things, with lots of time to think. Musically I used bagpipes as a homage to AC/DC "Long way to the top" as it's always been a favourite, and I can't think of many other rock songs that feature this instrument!

This song was inspired by some ex-girlfriends, but the chorus line actually came from a Laurel and Hardy film !
This is a song written about being away from the people, or person, that you care about but looking up at the same stars despite the distance.
A vaguely auto-biographical song judging by the title. I always felt too serious, and unable to have fun - the exception being when I am with my children.
A song written about some friends of mine and their dating experiences.
