ABOUT THIS EPISODE
EatSure presents The RCB Podcast - Game Changers with Mohammed Siraj
Mohammad Siraj was quarantining in a strange hotel room in a strange country when he got the news he was dreading. His beloved father had passed away back home in Hyderabad. His father, an auto-rickshaw driver, had been the one to encourage Siraj’s cricket dreams. And now, when their shared desire of playing Test cricket for India was so close to coming true, Siraj found himself all alone.
How he dealt with that tragedy, locked up in a room by himself, he’ll never be able to fully explain. But what he does know is this: His life was never the same again. The grief never really goes away. But the fire within him burnt bright, and the young man from the crowded streets of Hyderabad went on to make cricket history.
