ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Heather and Mattie have a lot of “guy” movies in their collection from over the years. Revisiting and reassessing them is a big part of the whole reason this podcast exists in the first place. Sergio Leone’s spectacular epic is maybe the predominant example of such a film. We look at the spaghetti western classic through modern American eyes. Beneath the performative grime and the brown-face, is there something worthwhile to keep this on our heroines’ shelf?
