00:00:00.480 --> 00:00:04.639
Hey, everybody, it's Brad. Now you must have noticed. This
2
00:00:04.759 --> 00:00:08.640
is not a regular episode. However, one is coming in
3
00:00:08.759 --> 00:00:11.839
less than two weeks. But in the meantime, as you
4
00:00:11.919 --> 00:00:16.440
no doubt have heard, Doomsday, History's most dangerous podcast, in
5
00:00:16.600 --> 00:00:21.760
conjunction with Nacho Shark Games, has created something a little weird.
6
00:00:22.359 --> 00:00:25.399
And it is with no small amount of pride that
7
00:00:25.679 --> 00:00:30.719
I announced that Peepee Poopoo, the world's most childish sounding
8
00:00:30.800 --> 00:00:36.200
adult party game, is alive and kicking on Kickstarter. In fact,
9
00:00:36.320 --> 00:00:38.719
as I'm sitting here recording this, it's been less than
10
00:00:38.759 --> 00:00:41.880
half a day and it's already more than half funded.
11
00:00:42.200 --> 00:00:46.840
And we could not have done this without you. I mean, yes,
12
00:00:47.000 --> 00:00:49.840
it took an awful lot of work to squeeze Peepee
13
00:00:49.840 --> 00:00:53.280
Poopoo into the world while also keeping the show going
14
00:00:53.399 --> 00:00:56.439
at the same time. Well, I mean, if you know me,
15
00:00:56.600 --> 00:00:58.880
you know that if there's anything that I truly love,
16
00:00:59.039 --> 00:01:02.200
it's doing too much. But we couldn't have done any
17
00:01:02.240 --> 00:01:05.599
of this without you and your help spreading the word.
18
00:01:06.560 --> 00:01:09.879
As poors, we rely and count on the grace of
19
00:01:09.959 --> 00:01:13.079
human decency and word of mouth to help to spread
20
00:01:13.120 --> 00:01:16.439
the game. Like I've said, there's no corporate sponsorship or
21
00:01:16.480 --> 00:01:20.239
anything like that. Here this is made by people for people.
22
00:01:20.760 --> 00:01:23.079
And a little while back I announced that I was
23
00:01:23.079 --> 00:01:26.079
going to throw a small contest to reward some listeners
24
00:01:26.120 --> 00:01:29.200
for helping spread the word. And so it is my
25
00:01:29.280 --> 00:01:33.760
pleasure to inform Carrie and Borthwick of England that she
26
00:01:33.959 --> 00:01:37.640
is receiving a free copy of the game and the
27
00:01:37.840 --> 00:01:42.480
exclusive VII Pooh tier. That's the game, the shirt, the
28
00:01:42.680 --> 00:01:46.840
very special golden turd card, and a potograph photo of
29
00:01:47.000 --> 00:01:50.519
ev who. If you visit our Kickstarter page you will
30
00:01:50.560 --> 00:01:53.239
be able to see in a video that explains how
31
00:01:53.319 --> 00:01:56.840
all of this is her fault. It is also my
32
00:01:56.920 --> 00:01:59.959
pleasure to announce that all the way from down up
33
00:02:00.040 --> 00:02:04.760
Under Sonia Turner has won a pile of free t shirts,
34
00:02:05.480 --> 00:02:07.719
which should be followed by the sound of applause, but
35
00:02:07.760 --> 00:02:10.719
instead it's me apologizing that it takes me so long
36
00:02:10.800 --> 00:02:14.639
to do anything. I'm just one person, and I'm functioning
37
00:02:14.759 --> 00:02:16.840
like a bunch of cats in a trench coat. And
38
00:02:17.039 --> 00:02:19.039
this is the thing that I'm going to get back
39
00:02:19.120 --> 00:02:23.560
onto now that the game has launched. Shirts people, I'm
40
00:02:23.599 --> 00:02:27.000
talking about shirts anyways. I didn't want to take up
41
00:02:27.000 --> 00:02:29.240
too much of your time. I just wanted to say
42
00:02:29.439 --> 00:02:34.319
that in this case, sharing truly is caring, And if
43
00:02:34.319 --> 00:02:36.919
you would like to feel invested in the future of
44
00:02:36.960 --> 00:02:40.520
doomsday and have a stupid amount of fun while doing it,
45
00:02:41.039 --> 00:02:44.879
just search for pp Poopoo on Kickstarter. And we even
46
00:02:44.919 --> 00:02:46.879
added a thing to the bottom of our page that
47
00:02:47.080 --> 00:02:50.400
explains how Kickstarter works in case you've never been there before.
48
00:02:51.120 --> 00:02:53.199
And in the event that you want to support the
49
00:02:53.240 --> 00:02:56.400
show and you appreciate the hustle but don't really want
50
00:02:56.400 --> 00:02:58.560
to have to have anything shipped to your house, you
51
00:02:58.599 --> 00:03:01.120
can always visit and make it do without any kind
52
00:03:01.159 --> 00:03:06.039
of purchase, which is also incredibly appreciated. And with all
53
00:03:06.080 --> 00:03:09.479
that said, new episode in less than two weeks, and
54
00:03:09.639 --> 00:03:12.080
it's actually a kind of a special one special to
55
00:03:12.159 --> 00:03:16.199
me because it's one that I actually watched unfold live
56
00:03:16.360 --> 00:03:19.400
as a child, and I've mentioned it before on the show.
57
00:03:19.479 --> 00:03:22.680
But I have a weird suspicion that my exposure to
58
00:03:23.080 --> 00:03:27.159
next week's episode is actually the unconscious thing that made
59
00:03:27.199 --> 00:03:31.319
me do this show in the first place. So until then,
60
00:03:32.000 --> 00:03:35.759
we'll talk soon. Savety goggles off, and thanks for your
61
00:03:35.800 --> 00:03:38.719
consideration in choosing to either purchase a copy of the
62
00:03:38.719 --> 00:03:41.120
game or share word of the game or some combination
63
00:03:41.199 --> 00:03:43.680
of those two, and or making a donation without purchase,
64
00:03:44.080 --> 00:03:45.360
and thanks for listening.
