Summary:
How much will one man sacrifice to save thousands of lives? Hundreds of sick and dying patients are being healed throughout New York City by an unseen force. As the world watches on, believing that divine intervention is the cause, security footage reveals that a single man is responsible. When software genius Philip Campbell sells his security firm to enter the seminary, he ends up becoming a global Internet sensation with his message of compassion and kindness. But when Father Campbell is excommunicated for a crime he felt compelled to commit, the attention he receives prompts him to change his identity and live a simpler life. At the height of his crippling despair, Campbell is unexpectedly offered the ability to heal illness in others but at great cost to himself...and perhaps the world. Philosophy, science, and medicine meet to form a perfect storm along one man's journey through the infinite expanse of matter, energy, and the self. The Devil's Saint challenges traditional religious and social paradigms while questioning the very nature of consciousness and empathy.
