ABOUT THIS EPISODE
What really happened during the mystery of the Devil's Footprints?
In February 1855, residents across Devon, England woke to discover a single trail of strange hoof-shaped footprints stretching across the snow. The tracks reportedly crossed walls, rooftops, rivers, and gardens, with no obvious beginning or end. Within hours, rumours spread that the Devil himself had walked across Devon overnight.
But did he?
