Proverbs 30:8 | Evening Prayer for Financial Stress and Money WorriesScripture: Proverbs 30:8 (BSB) — “Keep falsehood and deceitful words far from me. Give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the bread that is my portion.” Prayer Themes: Provision • Wisdom • Trust Have you looked at what remains in your account and wondered how it will last? Perhaps another bill has arrived, work is uncertain or someone depends upon you when you are already stretched. Reverend Ben Cooper welcomes you to this evening edition of Daily Prayer. Join us live from London, England, as we bring our financial worries before God. Proverbs 30 contains a humble request for enough rather than excess. Jesus teaches us to ask our Heavenly Father for daily bread in Matthew 6:11. Today, we remember households in the United States, Zambia, Netherlands, Egypt, Belgium, China, Uganda and Hungary. Heavenly Father, God of Israel, You see the pressure behind every unpaid bill and every difficult financial decision. Lord Jesus Christ, comfort those facing unemployment, debt, rising costs and uncertainty about providing for their families. Holy Spirit, grant wisdom in managing what we have. Give courage to seek trustworthy advice and strength to make responsible decisions. Open opportunities for honest work. Raise up compassionate communities willing to support those in need. Remove the shame that can accompany financial hardship. Remind us that our worth is not measured by money. As we offer this evening prayer for financial stress, teach us to seek Your guidance while acting with honesty, patience and generosity. May Christ sustain your hope through difficult circumstances. In His precious name, Amen. Pagpalain ka ng Diyos. Que Deus te abençoe. Que Dios te bendiga. שלום וברכה — Shalom u’vracha. 00:00:03.279 --> 00:00:04.799
Welcome to Daily Prayer.
00:00:04.959 --> 00:00:09.199
Wherever you are across this world, it is the early evening time and the love of God.
00:00:09.279 --> 00:00:10.720
My name's Reverend Van Cooper.
00:00:11.039 --> 00:00:15.119
Whatever your name is, whatever your situation is, we're gonna believe for financial breakthrough.
00:00:15.199 --> 00:00:17.120
We're gonna pray that money worries will go.
00:00:17.280 --> 00:00:26.879
We are listening to certain leaders around the world, especially here live in London, England, what they are saying for us to do to get ready for certain things across the world and whatever may be happening.
00:00:26.960 --> 00:00:28.879
But the Bible has already told us.
00:00:29.199 --> 00:00:29.920
Be ready.
00:00:30.160 --> 00:00:32.240
Be like the watchman on the wall.
00:00:32.560 --> 00:00:34.000
Get your house in order.
00:00:34.159 --> 00:00:36.159
Call on the name of Jesus Christ.
00:00:36.320 --> 00:00:40.880
I pray that God will shut up on us spiritually because everything's alright.
00:00:41.119 --> 00:00:44.880
The Bible is telling us everything that is happening right now.
00:00:45.119 --> 00:00:48.799
We are blessed and highly favored, wonderfully and fearfully made.
00:00:48.880 --> 00:00:51.759
And I want to let you know God is providing for you.
00:00:52.000 --> 00:00:56.880
God will feed you, God will water you, God will strengthen you, God will make a way.
00:00:57.119 --> 00:00:58.479
Lift your eyes to Jesus.
00:00:58.640 --> 00:01:00.880
Take our eyes off the political language.
00:01:01.039 --> 00:01:05.040
Let's not listen to the war cry, but let's focus on Jesus Christ.
00:01:05.200 --> 00:01:10.719
Come on, before we get going, I want to say thank you to everybody that is sending your prayer requests in to this studio.
00:01:10.799 --> 00:01:14.560
You can find that simple way of doing that on dailyprayer.uk.
00:01:14.879 --> 00:01:29.040
Go on to our homepage, have a look around, and also thank you to everyone that is praying for us and for me and everyone in this ministry as we pray together as you partner with us, however that looks like to you, we are partnering together, we are walking together.
00:01:29.840 --> 00:01:32.799
Let's get the word of God pressed around the world.
00:01:32.959 --> 00:01:37.439
If you can help us support us through this ministry through prayer, hallelujah.
00:01:37.599 --> 00:01:41.680
If you can sow a three-pound seed into this ministry once a month, hallelujah.
00:01:41.760 --> 00:01:47.200
Hit the link in the show notes below and also go on to dailyprayer.uk where you can support the ministry.
00:01:47.280 --> 00:01:48.239
Come on, we're gonna get in.
00:01:48.319 --> 00:01:51.599
I want to tell you right now, God is a way maker.
00:01:51.920 --> 00:01:53.040
God is a way maker.
00:01:53.120 --> 00:01:54.400
We're in prayer right now.
00:01:54.560 --> 00:01:56.959
As soon as you hear my voice, we're in prayer.
00:01:57.200 --> 00:01:59.599
Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to you.
00:01:59.840 --> 00:02:06.239
And Lord, we believe that this is an evening prayer for financial stress and money worries to go.
00:02:06.480 --> 00:02:10.080
Because Lord, we all stress about our money.
00:02:10.400 --> 00:02:16.240
Lord, however we get that money, however we receive that money, Lord, help us.
00:02:16.479 --> 00:02:20.159
Give us wisdom to be good stewards of our finances.
00:02:20.479 --> 00:02:23.120
But Lord, I thank you, dear God, for every one of us.
00:02:23.360 --> 00:02:29.120
Lord, however and whatever life looks like, I believe right now that you are making a way.
00:02:29.360 --> 00:02:44.159
And Lord, I come to this understanding, Lord, that you feed us not by financial gain, but by bread alone, but by the word of God, by your presence, by your spirit, by your mercy, by your grace.
00:02:44.400 --> 00:02:49.919
So Father, help us to take our eyes off the financial stress and look to Jesus Christ.
00:02:50.159 --> 00:02:57.280
So Lord, help us to take our eyes off the bills, of the wage packets, of the overdraft, of the credit card debt.
00:02:57.439 --> 00:03:06.800
Lord, whatever we are going through, the mortgages, the rents, Holy Spirit, help us, Lord, help us just to pause right now, to breathe right now.
00:03:07.039 --> 00:03:10.240
And Lord, just to realize that everything is okay.
00:03:10.560 --> 00:03:18.560
Lord, I pray for those that are facing unemployment, those, dear God, that are going through rising debt, that it will decrease at the name of Jesus.
00:03:18.800 --> 00:03:30.800
I pray for the cost of living, whatever nation, whatever tribe, wherever we are, Holy Spirit, I thank you that you are putting food on our table, electric in the system, gas in the system.
00:03:31.039 --> 00:03:35.280
Father, I thank you, Lord, that you're getting our van to work, our car to work.
00:03:35.439 --> 00:03:39.520
I thank you, Lord, that we're able to get on the trains, the buses, the tubes.
00:03:39.680 --> 00:03:40.800
You are making a way.
00:03:40.960 --> 00:03:44.000
Lord, we are able to pay the children's school lunch money.
00:03:44.159 --> 00:03:47.120
Lord, we're able to pay the rent, the bills, the mortgages.
00:03:47.280 --> 00:03:49.360
Holy Spirit, you are making a way.
00:03:49.520 --> 00:03:52.400
And Lord, we believe that there is financial breakthrough.
00:03:52.560 --> 00:03:56.719
We believe as the bills arrive through the letterbox that there is a way forward.
00:03:56.879 --> 00:04:00.479
And Lord, we're not going to be frightened of the envelope that comes through the letterbox.
00:04:00.639 --> 00:04:04.319
Lord, we're not going to be frightened about what is happening in the financial markets.
00:04:04.479 --> 00:04:10.080
Lord, we're not going to allow the world to carry us in any other direction but to the cross of Calvary.
00:04:10.319 --> 00:04:14.319
So Lord, as we be still right now, we trust in Jesus.
00:04:14.560 --> 00:04:16.560
Lord, we're seeking the Father's heart.
00:04:16.720 --> 00:04:19.199
Lord, we're seeking, dear God, the love of God.
00:04:19.360 --> 00:04:21.600
And right now, Lord, we're tired of working.
00:04:21.759 --> 00:04:23.360
We're tired, we're exhausted.
00:04:23.519 --> 00:04:25.920
Father, we feel that we're behind with so much stuff.
00:04:26.000 --> 00:04:31.279
But Lord, help us to breathe, calm down, and to find the Father's heart.
00:04:31.519 --> 00:04:39.279
So Lord, I pray, Father, as we might be stressed, we might be worried about money, about financial strain that's over our lives.
00:04:39.439 --> 00:04:42.399
Father, we pray for three areas of our lives.
00:04:42.560 --> 00:04:44.319
Lord, we pray for wisdom.
00:04:44.560 --> 00:04:45.920
We pray for wisdom.
00:04:46.079 --> 00:04:49.279
And Lord, we ask that you will give us financial wisdom.
00:04:49.439 --> 00:04:54.720
Lord, that we won't look at what we ain't got, but we will look at who we have in our lives.
00:04:54.879 --> 00:04:56.399
That we have Jesus Christ.
00:04:56.560 --> 00:05:00.959
Lord, that we won't put the weight on the dollar, the euro, or the sterling.
00:05:01.120 --> 00:05:09.839
Or whatever currency we have around the world, whatever currency that we have, Holy Spirit, that we won't look to the currency, but we will look to the king.
00:05:10.000 --> 00:05:13.920
Lord, that we won't look to the debt, we will look to the price that was paid.
00:05:14.160 --> 00:05:21.600
Lord, that we won't look, dear God, to the strain that's over our lives, but we will look to the king that took the weight, took the fear.
00:05:21.759 --> 00:05:26.480
And my God shall supply all of my needs according to thy riches in glory.
00:05:26.639 --> 00:05:30.800
So Lord, that we will not, dear God, engage in the rhythm of the world.
00:05:30.959 --> 00:05:33.040
But Lord, we'll look to Jesus Christ.
00:05:33.120 --> 00:05:47.519
And as we stretch out live from this studio, Lord, we thank you, dear God, as we crisscross the world, Holy Spirit, I thank you that we walk together, that we pray together from the battles, the trials, the worries, the fears, the cries, the tears, the smiles of life.
00:05:47.759 --> 00:06:05.759
Holy Spirit, we pray that you'll bless every nation, every tribe, every indigenous tribe, wherever they are right now, everyone under the sound of my voice, but out of the studio, all the way to the United States, Zambia, the Netherlands, Egypt, Belgium, China, Hungary, Uganda.
00:06:05.839 --> 00:06:07.439
Lord, we pray for Canada.
00:06:07.600 --> 00:06:12.480
We pray for every nation, every language, every human being.
00:06:12.720 --> 00:06:19.279
So, Father, tonight, through this early evening hour, Lord, help me to stop worrying about money.
00:06:19.600 --> 00:06:24.079
Help me to stop looking at the currency of my country.
00:06:24.319 --> 00:06:27.519
But help me to look to the Father's heart.
00:06:27.839 --> 00:06:33.680
Because my God shall supply all of my needs according to thy riches in glory.
00:06:34.000 --> 00:06:36.720
You will make a way, Lord, where there is no way.
00:06:36.959 --> 00:06:47.519
Father, I thank you that you are feeding every child around the world, that you are feeding every human being, that you are clothing and you are watering every one of us.
00:06:47.759 --> 00:06:51.920
So, Lord, you tell us why worry about tomorrow?
00:06:52.240 --> 00:06:54.160
Why worry about tomorrow?
00:06:54.480 --> 00:06:57.279
Holy Spirit, I thank you, dear God.
00:06:57.759 --> 00:07:00.000
Financial chains are broken.
00:07:00.319 --> 00:07:06.399
Lord, I thank you, dear God, for financial freedom, spiritual freedom.
00:07:06.720 --> 00:07:13.600
Lord, help us to stop worrying about the debt, the credit card, the overdraft, the bills that are coming through the door.
00:07:13.759 --> 00:07:16.879
And Lord, lift our eyes to Jesus Christ.
00:07:17.199 --> 00:07:23.360
My God shall supply all of your needs according to thy riches in glory.
00:07:23.519 --> 00:07:24.720
God is making a way.
00:07:24.800 --> 00:07:25.920
Don't ever give up.
00:07:26.079 --> 00:07:27.040
Look to Jesus.
00:07:27.199 --> 00:07:30.160
Open up the word of God and get into Matthew 6.
00:07:30.319 --> 00:07:33.279
Pray the Lord's Prayer over your life and be blessed.
00:07:33.360 --> 00:07:37.839
Join me in a few hours as we close the curtains on another day.
00:07:38.079 --> 00:07:38.720
God bless you.
00:07:38.800 --> 00:07:40.959
Have a beautiful early evening.
00:00:03.279 --> 00:00:04.799
Welcome to Daily Prayer.
00:00:04.959 --> 00:00:09.199
Wherever you are across this world, it is the early evening time and the love of God.
00:00:09.279 --> 00:00:10.720
My name's Reverend Van Cooper.
00:00:11.039 --> 00:00:15.119
Whatever your name is, whatever your situation is, we're gonna believe for financial breakthrough.
00:00:15.199 --> 00:00:17.120
We're gonna pray that money worries will go.
00:00:17.280 --> 00:00:26.879
We are listening to certain leaders around the world, especially here live in London, England, what they are saying for us to do to get ready for certain things across the world and whatever may be happening.
00:00:26.960 --> 00:00:28.879
But the Bible has already told us.
00:00:29.199 --> 00:00:29.920
Be ready.
00:00:30.160 --> 00:00:32.240
Be like the watchman on the wall.
00:00:32.560 --> 00:00:34.000
Get your house in order.
00:00:34.159 --> 00:00:36.159
Call on the name of Jesus Christ.
00:00:36.320 --> 00:00:40.880
I pray that God will shut up on us spiritually because everything's alright.
00:00:41.119 --> 00:00:44.880
The Bible is telling us everything that is happening right now.
00:00:45.119 --> 00:00:48.799
We are blessed and highly favored, wonderfully and fearfully made.
00:00:48.880 --> 00:00:51.759
And I want to let you know God is providing for you.
00:00:52.000 --> 00:00:56.880
God will feed you, God will water you, God will strengthen you, God will make a way.
00:00:57.119 --> 00:00:58.479
Lift your eyes to Jesus.
00:00:58.640 --> 00:01:00.880
Take our eyes off the political language.
00:01:01.039 --> 00:01:05.040
Let's not listen to the war cry, but let's focus on Jesus Christ.
00:01:05.200 --> 00:01:10.719
Come on, before we get going, I want to say thank you to everybody that is sending your prayer requests in to this studio.
00:01:10.799 --> 00:01:14.560
You can find that simple way of doing that on dailyprayer.uk.
00:01:14.879 --> 00:01:29.040
Go on to our homepage, have a look around, and also thank you to everyone that is praying for us and for me and everyone in this ministry as we pray together as you partner with us, however that looks like to you, we are partnering together, we are walking together.
00:01:29.840 --> 00:01:32.799
Let's get the word of God pressed around the world.
00:01:32.959 --> 00:01:37.439
If you can help us support us through this ministry through prayer, hallelujah.
00:01:37.599 --> 00:01:41.680
If you can sow a three-pound seed into this ministry once a month, hallelujah.
00:01:41.760 --> 00:01:47.200
Hit the link in the show notes below and also go on to dailyprayer.uk where you can support the ministry.
00:01:47.280 --> 00:01:48.239
Come on, we're gonna get in.
00:01:48.319 --> 00:01:51.599
I want to tell you right now, God is a way maker.
00:01:51.920 --> 00:01:53.040
God is a way maker.
00:01:53.120 --> 00:01:54.400
We're in prayer right now.
00:01:54.560 --> 00:01:56.959
As soon as you hear my voice, we're in prayer.
00:01:57.200 --> 00:01:59.599
Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to you.
00:01:59.840 --> 00:02:06.239
And Lord, we believe that this is an evening prayer for financial stress and money worries to go.
00:02:06.480 --> 00:02:10.080
Because Lord, we all stress about our money.
00:02:10.400 --> 00:02:16.240
Lord, however we get that money, however we receive that money, Lord, help us.
00:02:16.479 --> 00:02:20.159
Give us wisdom to be good stewards of our finances.
00:02:20.479 --> 00:02:23.120
But Lord, I thank you, dear God, for every one of us.
00:02:23.360 --> 00:02:29.120
Lord, however and whatever life looks like, I believe right now that you are making a way.
00:02:29.360 --> 00:02:44.159
And Lord, I come to this understanding, Lord, that you feed us not by financial gain, but by bread alone, but by the word of God, by your presence, by your spirit, by your mercy, by your grace.
00:02:44.400 --> 00:02:49.919
So Father, help us to take our eyes off the financial stress and look to Jesus Christ.
00:02:50.159 --> 00:02:57.280
So Lord, help us to take our eyes off the bills, of the wage packets, of the overdraft, of the credit card debt.
00:02:57.439 --> 00:03:06.800
Lord, whatever we are going through, the mortgages, the rents, Holy Spirit, help us, Lord, help us just to pause right now, to breathe right now.
00:03:07.039 --> 00:03:10.240
And Lord, just to realize that everything is okay.
00:03:10.560 --> 00:03:18.560
Lord, I pray for those that are facing unemployment, those, dear God, that are going through rising debt, that it will decrease at the name of Jesus.
00:03:18.800 --> 00:03:30.800
I pray for the cost of living, whatever nation, whatever tribe, wherever we are, Holy Spirit, I thank you that you are putting food on our table, electric in the system, gas in the system.
00:03:31.039 --> 00:03:35.280
Father, I thank you, Lord, that you're getting our van to work, our car to work.
00:03:35.439 --> 00:03:39.520
I thank you, Lord, that we're able to get on the trains, the buses, the tubes.
00:03:39.680 --> 00:03:40.800
You are making a way.
00:03:40.960 --> 00:03:44.000
Lord, we are able to pay the children's school lunch money.
00:03:44.159 --> 00:03:47.120
Lord, we're able to pay the rent, the bills, the mortgages.
00:03:47.280 --> 00:03:49.360
Holy Spirit, you are making a way.
00:03:49.520 --> 00:03:52.400
And Lord, we believe that there is financial breakthrough.
00:03:52.560 --> 00:03:56.719
We believe as the bills arrive through the letterbox that there is a way forward.
00:03:56.879 --> 00:04:00.479
And Lord, we're not going to be frightened of the envelope that comes through the letterbox.
00:04:00.639 --> 00:04:04.319
Lord, we're not going to be frightened about what is happening in the financial markets.
00:04:04.479 --> 00:04:10.080
Lord, we're not going to allow the world to carry us in any other direction but to the cross of Calvary.
00:04:10.319 --> 00:04:14.319
So Lord, as we be still right now, we trust in Jesus.
00:04:14.560 --> 00:04:16.560
Lord, we're seeking the Father's heart.
00:04:16.720 --> 00:04:19.199
Lord, we're seeking, dear God, the love of God.
00:04:19.360 --> 00:04:21.600
And right now, Lord, we're tired of working.
00:04:21.759 --> 00:04:23.360
We're tired, we're exhausted.
00:04:23.519 --> 00:04:25.920
Father, we feel that we're behind with so much stuff.
00:04:26.000 --> 00:04:31.279
But Lord, help us to breathe, calm down, and to find the Father's heart.
00:04:31.519 --> 00:04:39.279
So Lord, I pray, Father, as we might be stressed, we might be worried about money, about financial strain that's over our lives.
00:04:39.439 --> 00:04:42.399
Father, we pray for three areas of our lives.
00:04:42.560 --> 00:04:44.319
Lord, we pray for wisdom.
00:04:44.560 --> 00:04:45.920
We pray for wisdom.
00:04:46.079 --> 00:04:49.279
And Lord, we ask that you will give us financial wisdom.
00:04:49.439 --> 00:04:54.720
Lord, that we won't look at what we ain't got, but we will look at who we have in our lives.
00:04:54.879 --> 00:04:56.399
That we have Jesus Christ.
00:04:56.560 --> 00:05:00.959
Lord, that we won't put the weight on the dollar, the euro, or the sterling.
00:05:01.120 --> 00:05:09.839
Or whatever currency we have around the world, whatever currency that we have, Holy Spirit, that we won't look to the currency, but we will look to the king.
00:05:10.000 --> 00:05:13.920
Lord, that we won't look to the debt, we will look to the price that was paid.
00:05:14.160 --> 00:05:21.600
Lord, that we won't look, dear God, to the strain that's over our lives, but we will look to the king that took the weight, took the fear.
00:05:21.759 --> 00:05:26.480
And my God shall supply all of my needs according to thy riches in glory.
00:05:26.639 --> 00:05:30.800
So Lord, that we will not, dear God, engage in the rhythm of the world.
00:05:30.959 --> 00:05:33.040
But Lord, we'll look to Jesus Christ.
00:05:33.120 --> 00:05:47.519
And as we stretch out live from this studio, Lord, we thank you, dear God, as we crisscross the world, Holy Spirit, I thank you that we walk together, that we pray together from the battles, the trials, the worries, the fears, the cries, the tears, the smiles of life.
00:05:47.759 --> 00:06:05.759
00:06:05.839 --> 00:06:07.439
Lord, we pray for Canada.
00:06:07.600 --> 00:06:12.480
We pray for every nation, every language, every human being.
00:06:12.720 --> 00:06:19.279
So, Father, tonight, through this early evening hour, Lord, help me to stop worrying about money.
00:06:19.600 --> 00:06:24.079
Help me to stop looking at the currency of my country.
00:06:24.319 --> 00:06:27.519
But help me to look to the Father's heart.
00:06:27.839 --> 00:06:33.680
Because my God shall supply all of my needs according to thy riches in glory.
00:06:34.000 --> 00:06:36.720
You will make a way, Lord, where there is no way.
00:06:36.959 --> 00:06:47.519
Father, I thank you that you are feeding every child around the world, that you are feeding every human being, that you are clothing and you are watering every one of us.
00:06:47.759 --> 00:06:51.920
So, Lord, you tell us why worry about tomorrow?
00:06:52.240 --> 00:06:54.160
Why worry about tomorrow?
00:06:54.480 --> 00:06:57.279
Holy Spirit, I thank you, dear God.
00:06:57.759 --> 00:07:00.000
Financial chains are broken.
00:07:00.319 --> 00:07:06.399
Lord, I thank you, dear God, for financial freedom, spiritual freedom.
00:07:06.720 --> 00:07:13.600
Lord, help us to stop worrying about the debt, the credit card, the overdraft, the bills that are coming through the door.
00:07:13.759 --> 00:07:16.879
And Lord, lift our eyes to Jesus Christ.
00:07:17.199 --> 00:07:23.360
My God shall supply all of your needs according to thy riches in glory.
00:07:23.519 --> 00:07:24.720
God is making a way.
00:07:24.800 --> 00:07:25.920
Don't ever give up.
00:07:26.079 --> 00:07:27.040
Look to Jesus.
00:07:27.199 --> 00:07:30.160
Open up the word of God and get into Matthew 6.
00:07:30.319 --> 00:07:33.279
Pray the Lord's Prayer over your life and be blessed.
00:07:33.360 --> 00:07:37.839
Join me in a few hours as we close the curtains on another day.
00:07:38.079 --> 00:07:38.720
God bless you.
00:07:38.800 --> 00:07:40.959
Have a beautiful early evening.
