The name Phenacite derives from the Greek word "phenas" which literally means liar or deceiver. Phenakite earned this name because its growth patterns often resemble other minerals. It is often confused with Quartz, Topaz, or evenTourmaline. Phenakite is either transparent or milky and comes in assorted colours. Very often it is colourless, but can also be white, yellow, pink, light red or even brown.
Phenakite is claimed to have one of the highest energies of any crystal discovered. It strongly activates intuitive and psychic abilities and acts as a spiritual lightning rod, drawing powerful energy into the body. In everyday life use Phenakite to shift you from the doldrums to feeling inspired. Thiscrystal also awakens the care-taker within and can encourage you to adopt a more caring approach to yourself, others and the planet.ABOUT ADAM BARRALET
