Melanie Hope and James Monus. The views expressed on this

podcast are.

our advertisers, or any other dog.
7
00:01:35.760 --> 00:01:44.239
Wow High counterculture Wise fans, friends and family. I'm your hostess,
8
00:01:44.640 --> 00:01:51.640
Melanie Hope, my co host, my best friend, my husband,
9
00:01:52.280 --> 00:01:59.480
my sweet baboo, Jim Monas will not will no longer
10
00:01:59.519 --> 00:02:04.920
be joining us US. On Friday, December twenty seventh, very
11
00:02:04.959 --> 00:02:10.520
suddenly he went home to be with the Lord. It
12
00:02:10.639 --> 00:02:15.240
was very sudden and unexpected. It happened right here in
13
00:02:15.280 --> 00:02:20.120
our home. He was a man of faith, of prayer,
14
00:02:22.000 --> 00:02:27.159
of wit, of wisdom. He was every voice on this channel,
15
00:02:27.240 --> 00:02:33.599
and there will never be Maximilian von Riegelbizer or Chuck
16
00:02:33.639 --> 00:02:41.120
you Farley or any of the other voices anymore. I
17
00:02:41.159 --> 00:02:47.639
don't know what I'm going to do with counterculture Wise
18
00:02:47.680 --> 00:02:52.879
if I continue. We had a lot of interviews lined
19
00:02:52.960 --> 00:02:56.080
up and I'd hate to let them down, But right now,
20
00:02:57.800 --> 00:03:03.080
I honestly don't know what I'm gonna do with the podcast.
21
00:03:03.360 --> 00:03:06.479
I don't know what I'm going to do with myself.
22
00:03:07.520 --> 00:03:14.360
His memorial is going to be January eleventh, which would
23
00:03:14.400 --> 00:03:19.159
have been his sixtieth birthday. I had planned an epic
24
00:03:19.240 --> 00:03:24.879
birthday party, and now it'll be his funeral. I know
25
00:03:24.960 --> 00:03:28.439
that he's filling the heavens with laughter at the irony,
26
00:03:29.360 --> 00:03:32.840
because that's just the goofy sense of humor that my Jimmy,
27
00:03:34.120 --> 00:03:39.120
My Jimmy had. If you would like to offer your
28
00:03:39.199 --> 00:03:45.759
condolences or your support, there will be links in the descriptions.
29
00:03:47.960 --> 00:03:50.879
For the past eight years, we have loved doing this
30
00:03:51.080 --> 00:03:55.479
podcast together and he had so much fun coming up
31
00:03:55.560 --> 00:04:02.840
with ideas. We probably mostly just entertained each other, but
32
00:04:02.919 --> 00:04:10.159
we had a great time together. Thank you God, bless
33
00:04:22.759 --> 00:04:28.160
