ABOUT THIS EPISODE
In this episode of Conservative Conversations, Reid and Frank return from their camping trip and dive into the latest news and political drama. They start with reactions to the "No Kings" protests that coincided with the President’s birthday and the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary, unpacking what the movement is about and how it ties into ongoing cultural and political unrest.
They also explore the recent Israeli strikes on Iranian infrastructure, including nuclear facilities, and what role—if any—the United States has played. The conversation turns toward concerns about long-term entanglements and historical parallels.
Later, they discuss upcoming international events like the G7 summit and how it might intersect with Congress’s stalled "Big Beautiful Bill." The debate over SALT deduction caps, blue-state Republicans, and the tax code’s impact on high-income earners also comes into focus.
The episode wraps up with reflections on the ten-year anniversary of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign launch, their own early votes for third-party candidates, and how their opinions have shifted over time.
