ABOUT THIS EPISODE
The depth of our love for Jesus is connected to our awareness of how much we have been forgiven. In Luke 7, a woman known for her sinful life enters a Pharisee’s home, falls at Jesus’ feet, and responds to Him with a kind of extravagant love that exposes the coldness of the religious man watching her. Jesus tells Simon about two people who owed debts they could never repay. One owed much, the other owed less, but both were forgiven. The difference was not the size of the debt, but their awareness of what had been forgiven. We can become so accustomed to church, Scripture, service, and spiritual language that we slowly lose our wonder at grace. We compare ourselves to others, minimize our own brokenness, and forget how desperately we needed the mercy of Jesus. But people who never get over God's grace never get tired of loving God. This message calls us to remember our debt, stop comparing, respond to grace with worship, and extend to others the forgiveness we have received. Because the people who love Jesus most are not necessarily those who sinned the least, but those who have never forgotten how much they have been forgiven.

The temptation is to compare our calling, gifts, opportunities, resources, or influ…
The Kingdom of God is not an exclusive gathering for the religious elite. It is an open invitation extended by a gracious King who longs to fill His house. In the parable of the great banquet, Jesus reveals a God who refuses to let excuses, indifference, or rejection stop His mission. When the orig…
It is easy to believe that when we become lost, broken, ashamed, or distant from God, our value somehow decreases with us. But Jesus tells a different story. In Luke 15, the coin was lost, but it was never worthless. Its condition changed, but its value did not. The woman did not search for the coi…
