ABOUT THIS EPISODE
THE HIGHER YOU GO, THE DEEPER YOUR ROOTS MUST BECOME
Theme: Get Up and Pray — Die to the Flesh — Walk in the Spirit
Foundation Scriptures: Colossians 2:6–7; Matthew 26:36–41; Galatians 5:16–25; Ephesians 6:10–18
We sometimes desire elevation, greater assignments, greater ministry, greater responsibility, and greater influence...but God is concern about our roots becoming deeper.
Jeremiah 40:13-16, 41:1-3 shows how important it is to heed the warning that God brings to us and never dismiss it. Whether it is true or not take it to God in prayer for wisdom and clarity. Gedaliah dismiss and miss the warning that costed his life. He chose the table over discernment; therefore he ate with his enemy at the same table that he was slang at.
