ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Chris Lofing and Travis Cluff are the founders of Tremendum Pictures. With Travis's unique marketing and business background combined with Chris's film and technical experience this made the perfect mix to form the company in 2011.
Working out of their apartment they spent an enormous amount of time creating content for TV, film and digital media. They independently co-wrote/directed and produced micro-budget horror movie 'The Gallows' The movie gained the attention of horror titan Jason Blum of Blumhouse as producer before being acquired by New Line Cinema and Warner Bros, making it New Line's first acquisition in over 8years.
'The Gallows' released in 2015 grossed over 42million dollars in the box office and spawned a sequel 'The Gallows - Act 2' which released in 2019 through Lionsgate. Chris, Travis and I discuss their rise to the top of the box office, advice for following your passion and geek out over horror in general. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did.
