ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Achara and Alli react to Resident Evil: Retribution (2012), taking on the explosive fifth chapter in the sci-fi action horror saga as Alice (Milla Jovovich) wakes up inside Umbrella Corporation’s mind-bending underwater simulation facility. In this full movie reaction and commentary, our hosts follow Alice's desperate fight to escape an artificial world of clone test chambers, shifting global environments, and hordes of T-Virus bio-weapons. From brainwashed fan-favorite allies to live-action debuts of iconic video game heroes, watch as Achara and Alli break down every over-the-top action sequence, martial arts battle, clone plot twist, and high-octane 3D set piece.
Directed and written by Paul W.S. Anderson (Event Horizon, Monster Hunter, Mortal Kombat, Alien vs. Predator, Pompeii), the film stars Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element, Monster Hunter, Dazed and Confused, Hellboy, Zoolander, UltraViolet), Michelle Rodriguez (The Fast and the Furious, Avatar, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Lost, S.W.A.T., Alita: Battle Angel), Sienna Guillory (Eragon, Love Actually, Clifford the Big Red Dog, The Silencing), Kevin Durand (Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Real Steel, Abigail, Lost, Locke & Key), Shawn Roberts (X-Men, Land of the Dead, Supernatural, Flash Gordon), Johann Urb (2012, Arrow, Californication, Eastwick), Boris Kodjoe (Station 19, Real Husbands of Hollywood, Surrogates, The Last Man on Earth), and Li Bingbing (The Meg, Transformers: Age of Extinction, The Forbidden Kingdom, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan).
