ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Romans 8:29-30 contains what theologians often call "The Golden Chain of Redemption." In this video, we take a close look at Paul's argument and ask a simple question: Who is really doing justice to this passage? What does it mean that God "foreknew" His people? Is foreknowledge simply God looking into the future to see who would believe? What kind of calling is Paul describing? And how do concepts like predestination, human responsibility, and God's fairness fit together?Whether you agree with Calvinism, disagree with it, or are simply trying to understand the text better, I hope this discussion helps you think more carefully about one of the most important passages on salvation in the entire Bible.#romans8 #calvinism #predestination #election #theology #biblestudy #christianity #reformedtheology #scripture #goldenchain
