ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Why does God allow disappointments, especially the ones that knock you off the path you planned? Pastor Curry Pikkaart has spent more than 50 years in ministry learning that God often uses them to redirect and refine us. A bad grade ended his music career and launched his calling, and his son's long, unexplained illness tested everything he preached on Sundays.
In this episode, Rachel and Curry talk about the refiner's fire, why 90% of caring is just showing up, and what walking in obedience looks like when God keeps moving you. They also get practical about discerning God's voice before a big decision, what finishing well looks like for a leader, and how parents and grandparents can pass their faith on to the next generation. For any Christian leader or business owner walking through a hard season, it is a steady, encouraging conversation.
"Talking about faith and living out faith are two very, very different things." Curry Pikkaart
