ABOUT THIS EPISODE
In this episode of the Christ-Centered Sexuality podcast, hosts SJ and Katie explore why conversations about sex feel awkward, particularly within the church. They discuss how personal vulnerability, trauma, culture, and purity culture messaging contribute to the difficulty. Grounding their conversation in Scripture, they emphasize that sex is God's good design, intended for marriage and reflecting Christ's relationship with the church. They acknowledge that marriage and sexuality require honest, ongoing conversations, and encourage listeners to find trusted, Scripture-grounded people to open up to, while reminding them that only Jesus offers perfect love and acceptance.
Christ-Centered conversations on human sexuality, discipleship, and wholeness through a biblical Christian worldview—created to educate, equip, and encourage the Church. Some episodes may contain mature themes.
