ABOUT THIS EPISODE
The Winnipeg Jets have no interest in bringing Connor Hellebuyck back, but his suspension ends on Friday and forces the situation back into focus. With Winnipeg looking for a way out, the idea of a three‑team trade involving the Jets, Sabres, and New York Rangers becomes one of the more intriguing possibilities on the table. Meanwhile, former first overall picks Alexis Lafreniere (2020) and Owen Power (2021) are finally breaking out for their teams, giving both New York and Buffalo a boost as the season gets underway. Three weeks into the year, we’ll take a quick look at the standings, see where each team sits, and wrap things up with a few Instagram mailbag questions to close out the episode.
