ABOUT THIS EPISODE
TODAY ON THE CAROLINA ROLL CALL
Mandy Powers Norrell, State Representative for SC House District 44, is a rising star in South Carolina Democratic Politics. In her 8 year in the General Assembly, she has focused her time on curbing domestic/sexual violence and fighting for rural issues in her hometown of Lancaster. In 2018, she rose to prominence as the Democratic candidate for Lt. Governor.
Mandy is someone that Coleman and I respect for her compassion, her bipartisan work, and her rural roots. Mandy’s story, her work, and her campaign style is something that we need more of in SC Politics. We hope you’ll take a listen on Spotify or Apple Podcast!
