ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Depression is a hell of thing. One day, you are feeling fine with everything figured out, and the next, you find yourself in a deep, dark well with no way out.
My friend and neighbour Corey has been fighting depression for a few years now. The journey he's been on has been extremely difficult on him, his family and others around him. He's also a really terrific guy that I'm happy to call my friend. The strength and endurance he has shown during his difficult times has been admirable.
In this episode, we talk about the journey he's been on, including the manic highs and the insufferable lows, the things he's tried to battle those demons, the forgiveness of self, and the love he has for his wife and kids.
In short, this might be the most important episode I've done.
If you're suffering from depression and need to talk to someone, please let me know. I'm here to talk anytime.
