ABOUT THIS EPISODE
In today's Brain Squeeze episode, we're getting into the juice—Prosecutors reopened an investigation into an alleged 2024 gang rape at Cornell University. Known as the "Cornell 7," the case is back in the spotlight after disturbing allegations and Snapchat messages resurfaced in a civil lawsuit from Jane Doe. We’re breaking down what allegedly happened at Cornell, why the case is being talked about again, the consequences some of the men are facing now, and the responsibility we all have to speak up when we know something isn’t right. But beyond the allegations themselves, this case raises a bigger question: what happens when loyalty to “the boys” turns into silence? Plus, the conversation about bystanders, protecting your friends, and why women can feel so vulnerable when the people around them choose not to intervene. Let's get into these juicy thoughts!
