ABOUT THIS EPISODE
In this Townhall, core contributor Hudsonsims announces a major transition: after years leading BOTTO's operations, he is stepping back to launch an independent AI research lab in Montreal focused on human-machine collectives and AI governance — with the goal of eventually partnering with BOTTO on R&D. Eleven Yellow, BOTTO's founding software collective (Selo and Raul), will take over day-to-day operations, bringing a lean project-based model and deep expertise in crypto economics. Mario (Quasimondo) shares a forward-looking update: the 6529 memes collaboration is opening to a wider community via a Karma-gated chat room in the Studio, BOTTO is experimenting with new creative mediums including code-based painting, and the team is actively managing LLM token costs to ensure BOTTO's presence remains sustainable. The Townhall also covers an active fall exhibition schedule — including a show at the Aargauer Kunsthaus in Switzerland and a three-day conference in Taipei — ongoing sanctification and containerization work, VP delegation, and a return to 20% protocol-owned liquidity in mid-October under BIP-83.
