ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Are you coming to the Hanging Tree? This week on BookWatch, we are analyzing the second half of Mockingjay and the second film showing us the end of Katniss Everdeen’s journey. J Scotty St Clair joins us once again to discuss all the changes between book and film, and all of the tragedy and hope that we are left with at the end of this story. We mourn the deaths of beloved characters and say hello to a bright future where the atrocities of the Hunger Games are no more, and the better world that Katniss suffered and killed for is realized.
Join hosts Chris, Jordyn, and Sarah-Daye as they break down what worked, what didn’t, and whether this adaptation does the book justice.
