Speaker 1: Sad?
00:01:05
Speaker 2: It's really not enough?
00:01:07
Speaker 3: Soon?
00:01:08
Speaker 1: Welcome Lindsay dick Out.
00:01:09
Speaker 4: Thank you for being here, Thank you for having me such a special day.
00:01:13
Speaker 1: Okay, so Lindsay is so cool. She brought these insane balloons that say fifty.
00:01:17
Speaker 5: Million because we had fifty million day, it's real fifty million.
00:01:22
Speaker 4: Have you wrapped your mind around that number?
00:01:25
Speaker 1: No, because no one in my family really can mind either. I told I told you about did I y about the flowers? Yes? That wrote out fifty million?
00:01:33
Speaker 3: Yes?
00:01:33
Speaker 1: Sorry about that.
00:01:34
Speaker 2: He brought me and bye, but that was not me.
00:01:37
Speaker 1: I just want you to know that card cards at fifty million, and how did he want them?
00:01:42
Speaker 4: In the he wanted it, you know whatever.
00:01:44
Speaker 1: I'm so irritated with him with that.
00:01:45
Speaker 2: The flowers were beautiful though they were gorgeous, I thought, no, there.
00:01:48
Speaker 4: Was your forest.
00:01:49
Speaker 1: By the way, it was very nice that he even did something that was fine. I'm just saying. I was like, you know, we always make such a big deal out of everything he does, and it was just like when I do something, it just kind of just go byes. I called that. I'm like, so, how should we announce it? You know, because last time you bought me the balloons last time too for a yeah, for the thirty million, and I think we blew off forty. We didn't do anything.
00:02:12
Speaker 4: Woman.
00:02:13
Speaker 2: We can't do everyone can.
00:02:17
Speaker 1: We're talking to I feel like there's I feel like there's increments now it's like fifty seventy five one hundred r right, Like.
00:02:22
Speaker 2: Those seventy five seems random to me.
00:02:24
Speaker 1: No, I don't know, because I think it's even more. I mean million, you know she's saying, as opposed to like eighty or sixty.
00:02:30
Speaker 2: Yeah, like I like even numbers, right, But when I think.
00:02:33
Speaker 1: Of annihrnisaries, that's like a thing, right or burden right right.
00:02:38
Speaker 3: But it's like when you hit on Instagram, when you hit like a million, or when you hit a certain number that like you don't celebrate hitting seventy five thousand or you know what I'm saying, right, Oh, it has time.
00:02:49
Speaker 1: I don't know.
00:02:49
Speaker 4: Well, we can't wait till one hundred.
00:02:51
Speaker 3: But this is very exciting regardless we sound obnoxious, millions doing it.
00:02:56
Speaker 1: It's unbelievable, and it's because of all of you guys listening. So thank you, thank you, thank you so much. You know what I love seeing on my comments recently is a lot of I didn't even know you had a podcast. I'm so excited I just started listening real Yeah, I love that like that. So welcome in everybody, welcome and no welcome. This way too. Are we filming like the whole show?
00:03:15
Speaker 2: Yeah, might as well, Right, well we can do with it. I don't know, we'll figure it out.
00:03:20
Speaker 4: Thought, why not film it?
00:03:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean a lot of people are doing it now.
00:03:23
Speaker 5: People are more YouTube people versus podcast people or you know, I think you should put the exact same thing on both platforms because you can't.
00:03:31
Speaker 2: Put the whole show. So I think it's more like highlights of like the best of Well here's it.
00:03:36
Speaker 1: Well, here's a tip for people out there that like want to get into podcasting or YouTube channels or any of that. I think when you're huge, like when you're you know, who's like a big YouTube star.
00:03:46
Speaker 2: Like Logan Paul has podcasts.
00:03:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, so Logan Paul I think, has such a huge following that you can say, all right, well, some people want to watch it. Some people just want to listen to it on their device when there's somewhere, But there's enough followers and listeners and watchers that you could repurpose.
00:04:03
Speaker 4: Hello, fifty million.
00:04:06
Speaker 1: Somehow. But you know what I'm saying, I think that when you are developing something or still creating and that kind of thing, you want to drive people first to one spot. And I think one of the things that people because there is so many places to put content, I think all of us go, oh, I needed this, and I needed that. You need this Instagram account and this. You know, Vine isn't around anymore, but you know, whatever the new I have. I've got a thing to do things on IGTV, and I need a YouTube channel, and I need a podcasting and all this stuff. And I think you can get diffused.
00:04:37
Speaker 3: Right, but I think it's good to have it just in case, right because I think people are visual, more visual than then.
00:04:45
Speaker 1: Be different content on those things.
00:04:47
Speaker 3: I don't know some of the fast You'll be surprised, really, yeah, just repurpose, I think so.
00:04:52
Speaker 5: Some of the some of the fastest growing I love reading about all this stuff is the people who do the just repurpose the content. So take a podcast and turn it into an Instagram story, a podcast and a YouTube the same piece of content.
00:05:03
Speaker 1: Oh, so totally wrong.
00:05:04
Speaker 4: I think we should put it on everything.
00:05:06
Speaker 1: Let's try it.
00:05:07
Speaker 4: Yeah, see swipe up.
00:05:11
Speaker 1: To become a subscriber.
00:05:12
Speaker 4: It's below.
00:05:13
Speaker 1: By the way, I wear I just came from ballet.
00:05:16
Speaker 2: Oh can you show them your outfit?
00:05:19
Speaker 1: You can see it.
00:05:20
Speaker 2: Get on your tippy toes, like like you're used to doing.
00:05:23
Speaker 4: If you can't tell this, so for those lit watching, she has sheer.
00:05:29
Speaker 2: Show your shoes though.
00:05:30
Speaker 3: That's the best part, sneakers, because I came from It's the best thing I've ever seen.
00:05:35
Speaker 1: We have an ordinary So I went ran over there and I put on my leotard and my tights.
00:05:40
Speaker 2: But it hurts my belly.
00:05:42
Speaker 1: We had a substitute teacher today.
00:05:45
Speaker 4: Oh how was that?
00:05:47
Speaker 1: But we had a substitute teacher and she was at mean in a good way, like I really liked her. But it was funny. You know, I've been going and this teacher is so nice and you feel so beautiful and elegant and graceful, and this one comes in as I squeeze your button off your hand like this, and do you pretend you're going through water? And you got it? I was like, whoa, but I am sore just even walking out of the that's so great. Yeah, it was really good. But I was thinking to myself, hmm, I wonder if this had been my first class, would.
00:06:14
Speaker 2: I've gone back right?
00:06:15
Speaker 1: I'm not sure? Yeah, I think the Chandler class was good.
00:06:19
Speaker 3: You know, you know, I'm Billions. Who's who's the male version of the psychiatrist?
00:06:27
Speaker 2: What's his name?
00:06:28
Speaker 3: He's like aggressive, he's like the uh have you been watching the recent one? He was on it, but he was on it like last season.
00:06:37
Speaker 1: He's a life coach.
00:06:38
Speaker 3: He's like the life coach guy and he's like so aggressive and he's angry and he makes you hit things.
00:06:42
Speaker 2: Riley's like, I want one of those in my life. Like, I think you'd be good to have someone to just like slap you out of it and give you the man up speech. Yeah, like all the time.
00:06:52
Speaker 4: That's right.
00:06:52
Speaker 2: I'm good at the me, but maybe you need someone like that to be like it's not bad of it? What are you doing?
00:06:58
Speaker 3: Like what you know, like someone aggressed but not like it's okay, it's all gonna be okay, Like a missus Lee. You need like the opposite of missus Lee.
00:07:07
Speaker 1: You know, I'm thinking I don't know because Terry tried to give me the man up speech last week, and well it wasn't really the man up speech. It was the you're insane, go to therapy.
00:07:14
Speaker 2: Right, that's really not that doesn't work.
00:07:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, No, That's why I like boxing so much. So funny Andre was goes Man, you ladies have a lot of shit to work out. That's funny. That's so funny.
00:07:25
Speaker 4: True.
00:07:25
Speaker 1: All right, So can I tell you about the Aspen thing. We were talking about it yesterday, right, I do well.
00:07:31
Speaker 2: I was the one initially that told her whoopsies, I didn't know. She didn't know.
00:07:36
Speaker 3: Because Riley had told me, Oh, I think Terry's coming on the trip, and I go, no, he's not. They're leaving on their Paris trip. So then I asked Heather, I go, is Terry going to Aspen.
00:07:46
Speaker 2: She's like, I don't.
00:07:48
Speaker 3: I don't know is he going? And then texted him And that's sort of when the whole thing went down.
00:07:52
Speaker 1: Got it right, okay, but you started it, so it's her fault.
00:07:56
Speaker 2: So and then mattia here.
00:07:58
Speaker 1: And he was all sick and vomiting, and I was like, I haven't seen you this sex since you were in ass been trying to correlate the Aspen with the illness. Anyway, So today, because Terry and I had this great talk on Monday and I feel like we're on the same page and everything, and it was good. And so Jamie, his assistant, was texting me and she said, is he still blocked out the day before Father's Day? And I said, I didn't block him out. I'm like, that was the Aspen thing. I don't know what his plan is. I haven't heard. And she goes, okay, let me find out. She goes aspens off and I was like yes, I was so happy. Yeah, and then literally ten minutes later she writes, your egg goes aspens on.
00:08:38
Speaker 2: No, she wrote on. It wasn't I think it's on.
00:08:40
Speaker 1: No, No, she goes it's on. So I text him, I go, you're going to Aspen and he goes, haven't decided, and I'm like, oh shit. So I said okay, because Jamie was just asking me blah blah, and I tell him the story and we did all this back and forth on text.
00:08:57
Speaker 4: How long is it?
00:08:58
Speaker 2: Why it was going quick trip? So it's it's a weird group though. So it's Riley, the hotel manager, and the asset manager and Terry.
00:09:11
Speaker 3: Because originally was supposed to be like like head and Vestures and like these big time.
00:09:16
Speaker 1: For people, a couple's trip.
00:09:17
Speaker 4: We were all supposed to.
00:09:18
Speaker 3: Originally it was couples, and then it ended up being a guys trip because she could go. I couldn't go, and one of the other wives couldn't go, so they're like, all right, let's just make it.
00:09:25
Speaker 1: Guys, got it. And then and I couldn't go either, because here's the thing. It's, first of all, it's Father's Day weekend, and he's coming back on Father's Day in the morning. And then so it's a Sunday. Then, so we're leaving Thursday for Europe. Okay, so there's three days in between, and one of those days he has to do press for a show that he's doing, So there's two other days and he's gonna have to take off Friday and Saturday. So it's like and we're leaving for over two weeks. So I always talk about this, but Terry doesn't get a salary, so when we leave, it's not just what the trip costs, it's what he's losing by not being home. And he always explains that in very you know, clear details, and this trip is really really important to me. I may have to scroll back to our honeymoon for a second. I don't think we've discussed that so when we got married, because we're having our twenty year anniversary next week, and I'm totally posting pieces of our wedding videos.
00:10:16
Speaker 2: You're gonna die, inte, You're gonna done it.
00:10:18
Speaker 1: So funny, he had said to me when we were getting married. He goes, you know, is it okay if I don't care about the flowers and this and that, I love you whatever you want. I go yes, As it was like building this house right exactly. I go, yes, I will do it all, but you have to love it all and that's it, you just do and he goes, okay, fine. And he loved the wedding. He had a great time. He loved every element of it. And for a guy who's not really into weddings and parties and social events, it was a big deal for him.
00:10:46
Speaker 4: And I know that, so he was cool.
00:10:48
Speaker 1: And the best gift he gave me was after the wedding was over, and you'll see in the video, I'm like, we haven't eaten yet. I'm like, I look like I'm on ecstasy. It's so crazy. We went back to our room at the Beverly Hills Hotep with this gorgeous sweet and they had left out the most incredible spread of food you've ever seen. Plus everyone at our wedding, we had a big cake, but we had individual wedding cakes. Everyone got their own wedding cake and it was really cool. They all came out on trays and everything, and you know me, it was white on white and white on white. Yeah, it was like fond it with white cake and white chocolate butter cream frosting. And then on the side, I had chocolate sauce and raspberry sauce to drizzle. But they had one of those cakes for us in the room and I didn't even take off my wedding dress because I loved it so much. And we sat on the couch and we ate and they had bottle champagne and we drank and we rehashed the wedding that night. That night, like you talked to me like a chick. It was like the best kift. I'm like married the best guy ever. But then this might be Tami. But then we went into the bedroom and there's rose petals, I mean everywhere, and Dina, you know, my friend Dina had bought me this gorgeous, like sexy, little glassy thing. So of course I go put it on and a comeout and he's like, you look hot.
00:12:04
Speaker 3: I love you.
00:12:05
Speaker 1: It's like three thirty in the morning. Now, by the way, I love you. You look hot. Can we have sex when we get to it? Laa, I'm exhausted. It's like I'm gonna die. I'm like, okay, so like sweep the battles off and I was like, and then we go to So then the next day we had brunch with my family, which was really sweet. My grandma was there, my aunt and uncle, my mom and dad, and we had lunch outside there at the Beverly Hills Hotel. And then I remember getting in the limo and crying because it's like, so I'm gonna cry it. But it's like so weird. You know when you leave your parents, Yeah, like you're going off. You just got married, and now you're in this like limo with your husband. Yeah, like he's your he's your family. It's so weird, right it is.
00:12:46
Speaker 5: It's a new it's the start of your family and you still have your old family, but part of you leaves because you're you know, you're moving in the start.
00:12:53
Speaker 2: It's like you're a grown adult now, Like that's a moment goodbye. Yeah.
00:12:57
Speaker 1: And I started crying in the car and I was this Airmetz scarf that my Grandma'd give it me, and he's like, I know on it. He was like really sweet. Anyway, So we go to Italy and I'm not gonna give you the entire honeymoon, but suffice to say, Terry doesn't like European things. He doesn't like that the beds are pushed together. He and everyone thinks that, like or I know you don't probably by now, but that I'm really bougie and I can't go with the flow. And it's Terry. He's really like that. He allows a tablecloth, he can't go to a dive, he can't grab a slice of pizza and keep going. That's not him. He's weirdly like my parents in that regard. So we planned this whole trip and it's in all these different places that some were very us, some were very not us. But I mean we'd been together two and a half years when we got married. If you think about how long you've been with Crag and how long I've been with Terry, I mean, even how long you've been with Riley, it's just two years. It's nothing. And what you learn about each other and how you grow together and realize what you love doing together, what works it was like talking about the weekend you had that was kind of a fail. Five years from now, maybe you would have handled it differently and it wouldn't have been a failed. Maybe it would have been I don't know, but you just you grow and things change. So in the middle of this trip to Italy where he was such a pain in the ass, I mean didn't like anything. Yeah, and I was like tap dancing as fast as I could to make it happy and make it cool. And it was places room were so beautiful, but like he was miserable in Florence. Too many churches, too many museums, and I'm not a huge like let's go in a museum for three hours, but like you walk in, you see the David, you leave, Yeah, like highlights, you have a glass of wine. He doesn't like shopping, he doesn't like look, you know. And so I was like, okay, great. So I got us a rental car and we ended up driving and we went out to Pisa, like like I was like working on the fly and you know, doing all this stuff he wanted. In the middle of the trip, He's like, why don't we just leave it go to Hawaii. We were in Italy and then you know how depressing this was for me. And just so you know, I had paid for most of the trip myself got it because that was my gift to him for the wedding. We paid for some of the stuff together.
00:15:11
Speaker 3: You just felt on top of that that he wasn't enjoying what you planned planning right, like his game was.
00:15:16
Speaker 1: He brought me like a little Solitaire diamond necklace and I said, I'm going to pay for all, like I paid for every airplane and every every mode of transportation, so first class flights to PA to Italy and cars and just everything. And he was just so negative. And when he said let's go to Hawaii, I was like, ugh, what like yeah, okay? In the retrospectoscope he knowing him now, he would have loved to have gone to like bor Bora, to go to Yeti, or to go to Pouquette and lay on a beach for a week and then go to like Thailand, or go to bor Bora and then go you know, to like a city.
00:15:54
Speaker 2: So you needed to give him the balance of the rancher relax.
00:15:58
Speaker 1: So but I and then I did because they I planned it was all right. Well, now I am telling you the whole story. So the way I planned it was we started in Venice. Okay. That always makes me thinks that we open and then it never start show. Anyway, we started in Venice. We stayed at the Chipriani, which is that famous hotel. It's on an island, sit by the pool, a bowl of cherries on ice and champagne and what else.
00:16:19
Speaker 2: So it was relaxing.
00:16:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, and you take a little boat into Venice, which was so beautiful, and we'd get on gondolas and yeah, that kind of thing. He was, okay there, okay, and you go to the little islands of Morano and see the glass and all this cool stuff. And then we went to Florence and then like put him under he does the hotels. Even though they were gorgeous and top of the line hotels, it was not the four Seasons, right, And he likes a very American and he couldn't just get in the spirit of the go with the flow of the whole thing. I remember being like we were in Siena, staying at this monastery, which is like cool and interesting. I remember walking into like some vine fields things and just sobbing, Oh my god, like, oh my god, what is going on here like this just kind.
00:17:05
Speaker 3: Of and did you confront him and say, can you please just for me try to enjoy it and like live in the moment, or did you just almost not even want to.
00:17:15
Speaker 1: I don't remember if I was passive aggressive about it, right, if I was capable of having that conversation, right, I just I don't know. And then so we did Florence, and we did whatever. I can't remember when we went to Tuscany, and then we ended in Sardinia again. The beach Sardinia is an interesting place. It's this beach. A lot of people go there by yacht. Terry's not a boat person, but they have a couple of really insane resorts there, and you go and once you get there, you have a table. It's almost like being on a cruise. It's like your table for the whole time. You have your own service. So by the first day they know exactly what you like. I have to say, some of the best good I've ever had, like homemade pastas and fresh fish and just delicious. But it was kind of quiet and not a white sand beach, a little rocky beach, but you know, it's Sardinia. It was kind of and cool.
00:18:01
Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
00:18:02
Speaker 1: He just he was not good about it. And we've had other we had other moments, travel moments in the beginning of our relationship like that. But now I get it. If I was planning our honeymoon today, I would plan what's.
00:18:15
Speaker 2: Wrong nothing, I'm just I want to just make sure we're good.
00:18:18
Speaker 1: If we were going today on our honeymoon, I would have planned, like I said, Pouquette Thailand, something like that, because I understand what he likes and what I like whatever. Right, So for this trip that we're going on in Europe, we're going to south of France to San Trepez, which is beach, but it's like party beach, you know. It's like you rest, you drink, you party that, you pass out on your lounge chair. After you drink too much, you get up, you party some more. But it's still going, going, going. We're going in another couple that he loves, with the Bellows. That's all great. Driving up the coast, going to all the it's a lot of traveling around though. A day here, a day here, kind of fun. Interesting. Then we're going to go to you know, cap Ante Billy submit stay at Law Reserve, We're going to Monica. We're gonna go to the casino and have like a fun, fancy night there and then go up to Champagne for a couple of nights and then Paris. This is a big trip. It's expensive, and even though it's not, it's contradicting what I just said that if we were going on another honeymoon. But the whole point of this trip was that I wanted to go to Champagne. That's what I want to do for my birthday. And he was like, why don't we just put it all together and take this trip because I feel like we went to the Maldives two years ago. We kind of did that trip, went to Dubai, did the city thing. We went to the Maldives, we had the ranch Overlax. So I think this is a good like combo of everything we both enjoy, and because he's got a buddy with him, it all takes it up a notch, all right, So enter Aspen. June is a very May and June have been super super busy, and so next week is our actual anniversary on June fifth, and so he's taking off a day so we can hang out in La and then the next day we're leaving for Minnesota. So we have a weekend in Minnesota, come back full week of grinding, and then he's leaving on Friday apparently for Aspen, coming home Sunday, which is Father's Day, grinding for three days, and then we leave for Europe that Thursday.
00:20:18
Speaker 4: That's a lot.
00:20:20
Speaker 1: Well, okay, so number one, I'm upset for the kids because you're going to be gone two weekends in a row before we leave for Europe and they leave for camp, so you're basically not seeing them. But you know what, I'm not his mother, and I can tell him that I that, you know, I think it's not cool that you're not seeing the kids, and I have, but I can't force him to do that. So I sort of put that aside, and then I thought, well, let me be selfish for a second. The thing I'm concerned about because as we know, his last Aspen trip did not go well and he's not good in altitude. I said, what I am concerned about is that you're going to go on this trip and you're going to be partied out, You're gonna be done back in work mode, and then you'd be back for three days working and then we're gonna go on this massive trip and it's going to affect our trip, and you're gonna be cranky and you're gonna be tired. And I want a game because I've spent a lot of time planning this. This trip is really important to me, and especially after the conversation we had by the pool last week, you know that I I need this. I need this trip, and I need you. I need you to take care of me. I don't want to have to be making sure you're happy every five seconds and making sure everything's perfect. And because it's not gonna be perfect.
00:21:32
Speaker 4: Right, especially a europe trip, bouncing around.
00:21:34
Speaker 1: You and by the way, this restaurant's gonna suck. That's gonna be the wrong room it happened. I need him to roll with it. And if he's cranky in a bad mood, it's gonna it's gonna be bad.
00:21:45
Speaker 4: Do you think the since you're saying that now that he's like, Okay, I'm getting to go do this with the guys.
00:21:49
Speaker 2: That's what I said, right, And I'm.
00:21:51
Speaker 5: Gonna be extra on my a game. Like a lot of times with Craig when I say yes, when he knows I don't want to say yes. Then I get double and return because he's like, thanks for letting me go, and now I'm really here.
00:22:00
Speaker 3: I mean, the other question is it's you're sort of at a You're like gonna lose, lose if you let him go, then he's gone, right, and then you have to deal with the repercussions later.
00:22:14
Speaker 1: He's basically telling me he's not going to be blown out, He's going to be fine. Blah blah blah blah blah. I tried calling him, I need an answer, and I go, okay, I want you to discuss it rationally, not on text. I need this trip really badly and I need you to be on point. Does that make sense? I said, I love you. I'm not trying to spoil your fun, just want it. Don't want it to affect our trip. He goes, I promise I will be great on the trip. I had canceled the trip, but then I thought to myself, I'm sixty years old. All I do is work pedal to the metal every day, and I've never gone on a trip, so I want to go private jet. Blah blah blah. I go, okay, this trip is important to me. If you aren't on your a game. And then he said this is he goes. He gave me his schedule what he would do if he was home versus on the trip. The thing he's not entering factoring in is the drinking.
00:22:54
Speaker 4: And the altitude. That's the altitude for the game changer.
00:22:58
Speaker 1: But he goes. Your reaction is very disappointing. He's the only bummer is you aren't going. We would have the best time.
00:23:04
Speaker 2: And what did you say?
00:23:05
Speaker 1: I said, I'm not trying to be disappointing, just realistic, Okay, I hear you.
00:23:10
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's nothing I could do.
00:23:13
Speaker 1: He's a grown man. I can't tell him not to go.
00:23:15
Speaker 4: I just and not just that.
00:23:16
Speaker 3: I mean, look, he's not the type to always be going on guy's trips and he's not with it.
00:23:22
Speaker 1: I'm not trying to put a leash around no, no, no, I know in the beginning of May, I would have been like, have a good time.
00:23:27
Speaker 3: No, I know, I know, I'm just saying, yeah, the timing sucks, right, But if he's promising this to you, then you almost have to just let it go.
00:23:36
Speaker 1: I know. But it's been twenty two years and it's like you just know your partner.
00:23:41
Speaker 3: What is that, Oh you're saying. Yeah, but but instead of instead of suffering it, right, I.
00:23:47
Speaker 1: Know, but it just happened. I'll have to get over it. I get that. But it's just it's just he's disappointed in my I understand how he feels. He just feels like I never did this kind of thing. I want to let me just go, let me just go and do it. I just know that at the end of the day, if he ruins this trip, I will be devastated. I do not want to be crying in France. Do you understand what I'm saying.
00:24:10
Speaker 2: No, I understand.
00:24:10
Speaker 1: By the way, in a way, it's easier for me because if he's gone for a few days, I can organize the kids for camp, I can get myself organized for the trip. Yeah. To worry about his eating dinner and tablecloth, you know, it's fine. I'm just worried that it's going to affect his mood and our trip, right, And and I know I'm right. But maybe because of this he will have to pull it together.
00:24:35
Speaker 4: I think so.
00:24:36
Speaker 3: And I think if he has the best time he's gonna come back. He's gonna be like, I love you, Thank you for letting me go. Let's have the best time. I see that happening too, And honestly, he's such a pain in the ass. Anyways, I feel like even if he didn't go on the trip wasn't happening, he would be like, I'm tired, I had a long day of work.
00:24:53
Speaker 2: Like it could have been anything.
00:24:54
Speaker 1: What that's a really good point.
00:24:56
Speaker 3: No.
00:24:56
Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, maybe it actually helps. You're right now, because if he was just working, it would have been that. Do you know how hard I work? All ups offside this relaxing.
00:25:08
Speaker 2: It's off, it's off of your hands.
00:25:09
Speaker 1: He's had time to regroup and re energize.
00:25:13
Speaker 3: Right.
00:25:13
Speaker 1: Oh, I'm gonna say that to him.
00:25:14
Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, no no, by way, that's that's in your back pocket. What do you mean you don't show your cards?
00:25:19
Speaker 1: He says, I love you. I promise I will come back refreshed, by.
00:25:23
Speaker 2: Way, screen grab it and say I love you, have perfect love you.
00:25:29
Speaker 4: It will be great.
00:25:30
Speaker 2: It'll be great.
00:25:30
Speaker 1: I will hold you to that.
00:25:32
Speaker 2: No just no, no, no, no, yes, just be like, I love you too. I'm glad we we do this.
00:25:42
Speaker 1: At least it wasn't Champagne.
00:25:43
Speaker 4: I watch my phone.
00:25:45
Speaker 1: We can't find my.
00:25:46
Speaker 4: Pee man, especially on a Sunday night.
00:25:52
Speaker 1: I think, so I writing loved you too, I do. I wish I were going to yes.
00:26:00
Speaker 4: Craig knows I'm giving him a yes when it should be a no.
00:26:03
Speaker 1: It's like you.
00:26:04
Speaker 4: It's like you. You now he's called in a favor to you, and so now, how.
00:26:09
Speaker 1: Does that work out for you? Because I know the other end of this statory.
00:26:14
Speaker 4: Oh, totally true.
00:26:15
Speaker 5: They come back and yes, but you've been talking about this for a long time and it's three days in the middle.
00:26:21
Speaker 4: It's not one day.
00:26:22
Speaker 5: Because that's my worst is I mean, obviously my husband does this way more than yours. But as I'm like, listen, everyone else gets the best of you and I get what's left of you.
00:26:31
Speaker 4: That's not the plan.
00:26:32
Speaker 5: Pal.
00:26:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, well, I said, it's funny that you mentioned that, because when I was having this like moment with him on Monday, when we were by the pool, I said to him, I'm like, you know, you're really good at waxing poetic to you know, the botch. You know, like at the beginning of the end of the season, he gives a speech to everyone and he talks about how wonderful everyone is and you know it visually, and he brings himself to tears doing this every time beginning, oh yeah, every time, and and you're like and I get nothing, and I get the and I get like the blowoff toast for Mother's Day, Like we literally with this tone like we love mom and she's the best, and we love you. I mean, it's completely like a disconnected not always but mostly, And it's like, you know what, it's okay to have a moment, to take a moment and and and give me that moment too. I just maybe it's.
00:27:35
Speaker 2: Because you guys always have so many moments just the two of you that it.
00:27:39
Speaker 3: Feels like she knows how I feel about her, she knows that she's my number one, my only one. Like it.
00:27:45
Speaker 2: It's it's like a Hallmark holiday. Why does she Why do I need to profess it because on.
00:27:50
Speaker 1: A random day, because it's not professed on another random day. So those Hallmark whether their Hallmark holidays or your birthday or whatever. I feel like those are good moments for people to be able to go Okay, wait a minute, pause, I'm being forced to think about this for a second, about what this person means to me, to our family. So let me just take a moment and think about this for a second. Not like I have to do this because it's.
00:28:15
Speaker 3: No, but like I'm saying, like like your Mastro's moments right where you guys are at dinner and he looks at you and he tells you something and you start crying, and it's like, those are the moments such a count right. It sort of is similar to like your mom's Mother's Day thing. Why does it have to be celebrated on that day? Why the speech on that day?
00:28:31
Speaker 2: If he's telling it to you throughout the year and you know how he feels because.
00:28:36
Speaker 1: He doesn't do it a ton. I agree with what you're saying, but if he was more demonstrative or more verbal about those kinds of things in a real like yeah, a lot that I felt so taking care of you, right, I wouldn't care on those moments, But apparently I feel like it's not enough, right because it's still lacking where you're supposed to stay together. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't know. So I guess he's going to ask been that ends that conversation.
00:28:59
Speaker 2: But I'm proud of you. Wait what did you respond, I don't dress.
00:29:02
Speaker 1: You to it. I said, I love you. I wish I were going to and he said, I.
00:29:06
Speaker 4: Know, okay, we outnumber her.
00:29:08
Speaker 1: She had to lead it so.
00:29:10
Speaker 2: Funny with a pasmic.
00:29:13
Speaker 3: So it's crazy how it doesn't matter if you're with somebody for two seconds or twenty two years, you're still constantly having to Like, I don't know, it's not playing a game, but.
00:29:23
Speaker 1: It's working your relationship.
00:29:25
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:29:26
Speaker 1: Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm always looking for ways to get more vegetables into every one of my famili's diet.
00:29:34
Speaker 3: How.
00:29:34
Speaker 1: I know a lot of people make green smoothies, but sometimes only putting vegetables into the smoothies. They don't taste that great. They haste, you know, kind of green. This is why I am obsessed with the dull fruit and veggie blends, because they've created amazing balanced recipes of frozen fruits and veggies, so I know you're always getting a delicious balance smoothie. I remember back in the day when I was trying to hide veggies for my kids. I would make fruit and then put veggies in them, and then I'd be too much veggies and I'd have to add fruit, and then I had to have more veggies and them. Before I knew it, I had like like a vat of this stuff that you would end up going to waste. Dull does all the work for you, all the work of pairing great tasting fruits and veggies right there, so you can blend great flavors like berries in kale, or fruits and greens in some almond milk, and then seconds later you could just be sipping on this tasty, delicious smoothie and getting essential nutrients into your diet. The best part you don't have to wash or prep anything, because isn't that the worst? You feel like having a smoothie and you're saying, oh, I would love to have that, but I don't feel like washing everything, cutting everything, prepping everything. Doll does it for you. With fruit peaked, with fruit picked at peak ripeness, I know I'm going to get a delicious and satisfying smoothie every time. Sneaking more veggies into your day has never been easier or tastier for that matter, Dull Fruit and veggie blends find them in your frozen aisle. You're listening to Heather du Brose World. So Terry Knight last night, so we did our podcast and we decided to.
00:31:09
Speaker 2: Go to the Tower Bar, the Sunset Tower Bar.
00:31:12
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's called the Tower Bar at the Sunset Tower Hotel. Jennifer Anniston goes there. I don't know why I know this, but this is like her place. What does she go with? I have no idea, but this is her place. And what's so weird about is that I was telling my aunt where I was going and she was like, oh, Jennifer Aniston goes there, Like how do you know that? Okay, so we go there, and then my brother in law, Keith, who works, you know, he's in the entertainment industry, he was like, oh, yeah, you'll love it. Go and I usually Keith and I like the same kind of food, and I usually I'm completely on the same page as him. And I looked at pictures of it and it looks sort of living roomy, like it's not just tables and chairs, there's a table with a little corner booth or a half booth. It's dark and loungy. Okay, all right, looks cool. And then so we go there and it's dark, it's loungey. So the first table, which you know is never the right table, but the first table they sat usat. I had a table. Literally my chair had a table next to it with like pictures of water. It was like sitting next to the bus stand. And I was like even different. And the restaurant was empty, and this lovely older woman who was sort of the hostess. There was a young girl at the front, but this Gallas seemed like the grund dam of the place. I guess people who usually go there would know who she is. Beautifully dressed, really pretty. So lovely came over and said, I'm sorry, is there a problem? And I said, you know, I just feel like I'm sitting next to the bus stay choose, no problem, dear, would you like to sit over there? So so we move over there and she's talking to HER's very personal whatever. So we have this very nice little corner table. You know, the place ended up getting very full. I can imagine that a huge celebrity would want to go there, because you're not allowed to take photos or take a call in the restaurant text very private text, so it's very private. It felt everyone in there was older, like much much older. It just it felt like an old person restaurant, and I thought the food was okay, and then I did that really stupid thing where it wasn't that good and I overate and I wanted something sweet at the end because my hormones are ragic. And they had their big thing there is they have a build drone Sunday, which is so funny. They bring you like this slip of paper and this mini pencil, which reminds me of when we used to belong to a country club when I was a kid, and you would sit in the in like the cafe or whatever, and they would bring you the menu with a little pencil like a golf scratch it off. So that made me laugh. And you know, they didn't have any vegan ice cream, so I couldn't have that. But one of the topics was caramel corn. She said, can I just have a bowl of caramel corn? And I had had a lot of champagne by this point. I didn't even tell you the point of why I was telling this, stir. I'll get back to that anyway. I had a lot of champagne this point, and before I know it, I'm literally like three quarters the way through this, and then I realized there's peanuts in it, which I hate.
00:33:57
Speaker 3: And now you're eating it anyway, So I'd eat three cords of this norm like like a bit, not like a cereal bowl, like a bowl, like a bowl to share for three people kind of bowl.
00:34:06
Speaker 1: It must have been Crackerjacks or something. I was like, but do you guys remember, and then I'll tell you why I brought the story up. Do you remember Screaming Yellow Zonkers?
00:34:14
Speaker 3: No?
00:34:15
Speaker 1: No, no, okay. So there was Crackerjacks, which is, uh, caramel popcorn and peanuts, right, yeah, and then Crunching Munch. No, Crunching Munch was the same thing basically, but Crunch and Munch made different kinds of things, Like it wasn't just carbunchun yes and peanuts, like they had home with cashews or one with almonds. They had different Munch And I feel like it was the same company, but I'm not entirely sure, so you guys you'll have to tell me. But there was this other box called Screaming Yellow Zonkers. The best thing ever know, nuts at all in it, but it was this popcorn and it was like yellow. It was probably the most unhealthy dyed whatever, but it was like those buttery salty, crispy wheat melt in your mouth delicious thing. And I went on Amazon to try buy it and I couldn't find it and they have to delve deeper. But screaming yellow zonkers, that's what I was in the mood for AnyWho. The reason I brought up this entire I don't know it was random, but the reason I brought up this tired thing is that when we sat down at dinner, we were sitting there and he was in a bad mood, just like Riley was at your dinner, and it didn't matter what I said. He was kind of just being like negative and pissy, and I can't remember what he said, but I finally just stared at him. He goes, what that's what? Should we just go on our phones for a while, like to punish me?
00:35:34
Speaker 2: And I was like, no, phone's allowed.
00:35:36
Speaker 1: I go, I go get very I go, you're very difficult. He goes, I'm difficult. I'm difficult. I'm going, oh my gosh, and there went our speech. No, but I went, it's fine, move on. Because he had been telling me like a fifteen or twenty minute story about botched, because they had been filming that Danner listening.
00:35:55
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:35:55
Speaker 1: By the way, I didn't have a negative face on. I wasn't rolling my eyes.
00:35:59
Speaker 4: I was even bored.
00:36:00
Speaker 1: I was literally going with it, just listening, because you understand, it's all he talks about, so sometimes it does get like I don't want to hear about anymore. But it was totally fun and I was like, just listen, yeah, paying attention. And then we got off subject for a minute or the like I got a text or something happened, you know, because I had the phone turned up because in case one of the kres so it was like things. So I looked and he was like, whatever, never mind, I don't even remember what I was saying anymore. And I go, no, you were talking about back because you weren't even interested anyway.
00:36:29
Speaker 4: You didn't want to hear it.
00:36:33
Speaker 2: Lose, lose, lose, lose, But no, no, I really did.
00:36:37
Speaker 1: I was interested.
00:36:38
Speaker 4: What did I do?
00:36:38
Speaker 3: I was like, it's funny, Like I feel like there should be subjects or topics that we should just have in our back pocket just in case that happens. That it's sort of like a like I won't lose, you won't lose, We won't fight about anything, because I literally couldn't bring up anything.
00:36:55
Speaker 2: I couldn't do anything without him being like really like it was.
00:37:00
Speaker 1: It was like that. So it's like, but that's what's weird. Usually if we're talking about bot, she's happy, like if things are.
00:37:05
Speaker 2: Right, that's your back pack. You're like, so what happened?
00:37:10
Speaker 4: Yea too, honey.
00:37:11
Speaker 1: On last week's episode, Notice I'm noticed how the credits were rolling you. You were so good.
00:37:17
Speaker 2: You were so funny, funny what.
00:37:19
Speaker 1: You said, that's my back and he's talking about I'm literally bad to just show you my body language. I was sitting like this, like kind of leaned in with my hands.
00:37:28
Speaker 3: Maybe you were looked glazed, like maybe you were thinking about other things.
00:37:32
Speaker 1: I really was listening. I swear, I swear. Oh my lord.
00:37:38
Speaker 2: It's tough.
00:37:39
Speaker 1: Wait, by the way, because you have these samples sitting here, I just want to get. Is that the thing?
00:37:42
Speaker 3: I like?
00:37:43
Speaker 4: Yes, these are the travel sets. I brought you extra in case you want something.
00:37:46
Speaker 1: So everyone knows that Lindsay is the creator and CEO of a million?
00:37:49
Speaker 2: Can I see, yes, I brought you into Is this good for pregnant women?
00:37:53
Speaker 1: It is good for it's organic?
00:37:56
Speaker 2: Oh my god? So why can I naturally laugh. Gather this on before the baby shower or the night before.
00:38:01
Speaker 1: For sure, I need to do it tonight because I was trying on out Samorrow was over the other day and we were trying on outfits for the baby shower. And because it's our anniversary next week, I like clowt a dress. I wanted to style it for me. Yes, And she's like, I was trying and shoes. She goes, mmm, you know, I just feel like your legs are I'm like what She's like, em you kind of just they're pale and like the restaurant's dark somorrow, no one's She's like, yeah, but the skin tone on the Newton. She was really bothering. I like, all right, I'll tant all right. So yeah, so if you're not seeing this vision, but I'm gonna take a picture. It's like a cute little million dollar tan pouch for the zippers, so it's nice to travel with. And these are I'm gonna call them these are full size, but they're like travels.
00:38:43
Speaker 4: Yes, they're like travel size. So the whole concept and I made I just made a cup.
00:38:47
Speaker 5: I made five thousand sets like this because I was like, you know what all I get asked the most is I'm just so afraid to do it.
00:38:53
Speaker 4: I don't know how to start.
00:38:54
Speaker 5: Let me So this is like our travel set, but we made this like special version for like a travel set or just test it out. It's literally twenty dollars free ship the regular or the dark version. It comes with your applicator mitt and a little face and body moose and so it's awesome.
00:39:10
Speaker 2: It's oh it's your face.
00:39:11
Speaker 4: Oh, the face and a body one, and so it's cool.
00:39:14
Speaker 1: I've never done thattical, No, I never.
00:39:17
Speaker 4: But your skin is very sensitive.
00:39:19
Speaker 1: It's very sensitive. But I will tell you that my body skin sensitive too, and I've never had a reaction a million dollar tail. I love it's it's the myt to me that blends it. That's so good, it's so spectacular. Awesome. Yeah, no, I don't know why I don't because I don't just like putting stuff on my face. Start I start yours from like my neck down, and then I put on my makeup and I just a lot of face looks. So I use a lot of bronzer, and sometimes it looks terrible and my face looks like a vampira and my body I look like two different colleors, but I don't know why it doesn't brother, And especially.
00:39:51
Speaker 5: Since you like having a fresh face so often, and since you don't need makeup to look good. I love the face one because I kind of do it like bronzer, and so it's kind of like like contouring, but with sunless tanners.
00:40:02
Speaker 4: All twitting nights.
00:40:03
Speaker 5: So I'll tan my whole face like really light, and then I'll do more on the cheap bones. So then if I just put tinted moisturizer on, I kind of look like I have a little bronze or you know, Oh that's hard. It's just like a little bit more.
00:40:13
Speaker 1: But I mean this is twenty buck. Yeah, it's cool, right with free shipping.
00:40:17
Speaker 4: Free shipping, that's awesome.
00:40:18
Speaker 3: You do that.
00:40:19
Speaker 5: This is a bad business mode, you know why because it's kind of like a lost leader for us, right because people try it and then they're obsessed with the moose because the moose is really like the best sunless tanner ever, right, Like I manufacture spray tan equipment, and I use this instead of the pro spray tan stuff just because you get the same result, you know, from.
00:40:35
Speaker 4: Your own bathroom.
00:40:35
Speaker 1: How often do you use this.
00:40:36
Speaker 5: So I do like a light layer twice a week super like I'm talking like less than five minutes right before bed, like twice a week, face your whole body, whole body, and you can get your back.
00:40:46
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:40:46
Speaker 4: These myths because they reach a little Yeah, so you can just kind of like swoop on the back. Yeah.
00:40:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's totally reach so great.
00:40:53
Speaker 5: I mean people ask me questions all the time, and people are so skeptical. So it was like, how can I like make it easy for people just to try, just to give it a try. I had to realize it's good for you know, it's a water base, it's not gonna clog your pores. It's lighter than like makeup on the face, and it just makes people like look and feel so much better.
00:41:07
Speaker 4: Which is the whole you know, the whole mission of it.
00:41:09
Speaker 1: So you know what's nice. So a lot of times the consopt bood. Everyone's like would you make samples? Can you make samples? And it's just too expensive. It's too expensive to make the samples. It really is.
00:41:18
Speaker 4: It's literally to make a sample product is fifty percent the cost.
00:41:22
Speaker 2: But it's so worth it.
00:41:23
Speaker 4: It's worth it. Yeah, people and.
00:41:25
Speaker 5: Soundlesstanding is something that people you know right away you wake up, You're like, I look and feel so much better.
00:41:28
Speaker 4: I'm obsessed.
00:41:29
Speaker 5: So for us, that's a lifetime you know, if that's a lifetime customer, I'd rather break.
00:41:34
Speaker 1: Even on the initial Okay, I think it's awesome and and you know it's great. You know, it's like not to joke about drugs, but they say crack first. One's free, you know, yeah, because you get hooked. Yeah, but it's it is like that, So I think it's a totally smart thing to do for twenty bucks free shipping. You're gonna get this home, You're gonna fall in love, then you're gonna buy it. Yeah, it's amazing because then you have your big one that you have at home, right and this is the one you by the way, I travel with this.
00:41:58
Speaker 5: Yeah, because it's it's under the TSA limit, so you can do it and carry on or whatever.
00:42:04
Speaker 2: Are so good.
00:42:05
Speaker 1: We're gonna post a picture of this tube, but tell everyone how to order it.
00:42:07
Speaker 5: Were there's a million dollar tan dot com click on travel set because it's called a travel set, but it's also like our tester set, and that's it.
00:42:15
Speaker 4: It's all on there, easy easy pac Thanks for sharing.
00:42:18
Speaker 1: Good Yeah, of course I love it. I'm gonna need I'm gonna have to bring my big one though the.
00:42:24
Speaker 4: Well, listen, how many suitcases are you bringing? Okay?
00:42:26
Speaker 1: So you know I only ever bring like a carry on at this.
00:42:30
Speaker 4: I am shocked at how simple you are at packing.
00:42:33
Speaker 5: I mean, like and like you look so glamorous, Like I roll in with twice the amount of luggage and I'm sure my glamor level is half.
00:42:41
Speaker 2: Yeah, right, or glamor level is yeah?
00:42:44
Speaker 4: But no, really, you you got it down.
00:42:47
Speaker 1: I have really had to over the last four years. I mean, I'll tell you that house what between doing Housewives and Vine, which is now called Shop HQ by the way, is it really It was originally Shop NBC, and then they changed the name to Shop HQ and then to even so they're going back to Shop HQ. They were just rebranding the whole network and I'm really really excited about it. That's about what they're doing there. But anyway, so I've had to learn how to condense everything. The bomber about cosmetics, as you know, is that whether you're going for two days or twenty days, it's the same cosmetics, right, I mean your your Miscara is your Misscarra, and your your eye shadow palette is your I mean, yeah, some things you can get smaller. I don't try. I'm curious. Do you travel with shampoo and get is your? I don't.
00:43:33
Speaker 4: Don't you know?
00:43:33
Speaker 2: Not anymore?
00:43:34
Speaker 4: Oh always I used to.
00:43:36
Speaker 1: I don't just use what's there.
00:43:37
Speaker 2: I don't even travel with the toothbrush anymore. I just have them give me one when I get there. Toothbrush is so small, it's just so long.
00:43:47
Speaker 1: That is crazy.
00:43:49
Speaker 4: So I have and I have through the effort to be like who I do plan to have them sign up a tooth I do.
00:43:57
Speaker 2: So it was just this last one that I was like, it's so massive, it doesn't fit.
00:44:01
Speaker 3: It's honestly, like I have like a bag that's probably like maybe a little bit bigger than this little travel shadow.
00:44:06
Speaker 2: Oh sorry, this is just my my TOI li tree.
00:44:09
Speaker 3: So it's just like a thing of contacts, a few things, like a few travel things from my face, and a little a little travel toothpaste is a very particular toothpaste. No, don't remind me, but yeah, so the toothboards didn't fits. I was like, I'll just get one when I'm there. Why do you guys like a specific toothbrush?
00:44:29
Speaker 1: I like an electric toothbrush. Yeah, but you know what I always do. I take the electric toothbrush that's in my medicine chest. Yeah, and I've got my little house that goes on it, right, and then I leave it there.
00:44:42
Speaker 2: That's a waste to me.
00:44:43
Speaker 4: Why not just leave the whole thing?
00:44:46
Speaker 3: Yes?
00:44:47
Speaker 2: See No, I'd rather just leave the brush brush.
00:44:50
Speaker 1: I just feel like, once it's traveled, it's done. See.
00:44:55
Speaker 2: So why are you guys yelling at me.
00:44:58
Speaker 4: Toothpaste toothbrush? Traveling people?
00:45:00
Speaker 1: Terry Toyles forgets it, and you know what, sometimes you'll use my toothbrush and I think it's so disgusting, and then you think about the pot.
00:45:06
Speaker 2: Oh I don't care. I use Riley's on accident all the time. Really, I'm like, Oh'm sorry as I'm cleaning my tongue.
00:45:13
Speaker 4: Like in a binder, or if one of us forgets it on travel, I wouldn't think. I wouldn't think twice.
00:45:17
Speaker 2: Do you guys use their razor? I forgot my I'm a disaster.
00:45:20
Speaker 1: They ruin or they'll ruin your razor. Then you'll cut your.
00:45:22
Speaker 2: Legs I've had. I had to use his razor this ship because I forgot my razor.
00:45:26
Speaker 1: Terry uses an electric razor, No, he does both.
00:45:29
Speaker 3: He uses a girl's razor, so and I use a guy's razor. What he likes the two blade, I'm like, that's so old school, and I use like a six blade.
00:45:38
Speaker 4: Yeah, that's really funny.
00:45:40
Speaker 1: But I can't even all right, so I have my I have the toilet trees down, so in one of those like roly carry on small ones on one half of it, I can put all of my makeup, toilet trees, blow dryer, flat iron. Might even be able to get the curling iron in. Maybe that might would have to go on Terry's braag if I needed both. And then on the other side, I can put all my clothes and then I do a big tote, right, And if I'm going to a beach location, I use my beach bag as thee as the toe. So I've gotten really good at that. But on this kind of trip, because there's so many different places we're going, I'm gonna have to check luggage. But what the way I think I'm going to pack is like this, I think I'm going to put all of those toilet trees in the rolly carry on. Tamera Judge taught me something that she always did. She always had her some toilet trees and like an outfit and a bikini in her carry on, so if her luggage was lost, she was handled. And I thought that was really good. I can't say I always do that, but a lot of times I do carry on anyway. But what I thought I would do is, which is what I did when we went to the Maldives, is that I'm gonna put all my toilet trees in the rollly and some clothes or maybe like the outfit for the first night when we get there, you know that kind of thing, So that way, you know, right when you get toys. I always unpack, it's the first thing I do. But if we're running late, if something something whatever, I don't want to be holding everyone up or holding myself up. I just want to open that one thing, pull out all my stuff, get dressed, and be at the place we're at. Yeah, So I think that that is what I'm going to do, and then I'll definitely have one large suitcase or two medium suitcases that I haven't or maybe too large. I don't know.
00:47:27
Speaker 2: And what about Terry. I have a carry on his bag, his one.
00:47:31
Speaker 4: Back leather jacket.
00:47:34
Speaker 1: The leather jacket, I think he will end up having to he won't want to carry everything, and he'll he'll I mean, we're going to so many different he needs to close. But you know, Terry, I know you want a pair of shoes, two pairs of black jans. Yea black two.
00:47:49
Speaker 2: I wanted to see him in color on this trip, just one night.
00:47:52
Speaker 1: So one day I asked Samara to look for like the lightweight to quit equivalent of the leather jacket. And he needs a lightweight blazer right that he can wear it to restaurants.
00:48:05
Speaker 4: And he's about a lightweight bomber like yours.
00:48:07
Speaker 1: Like he has those, but some restaurants you have to wear a jacket, right, So I would rather, I mean, I said to him, I'm like, I know you like a lot of black, but you also have white shirts and you like white. Why can't you wear your black pants and bring some of your colored or white shirts, And why don't we get you like like a beigey kind of maybe not linen because it's little creasy, but like that kind of vibe blazer that you could just throw.
00:48:31
Speaker 4: On over everything, right.
00:48:32
Speaker 2: He said, okay, fine, He's.
00:48:35
Speaker 1: Like, I don't know, I'm not run. So I was like, let's have it made a.
00:48:38
Speaker 2: Go Nope, yeah not a good idea. No, no, because he won't be greateful.
00:48:43
Speaker 1: Yeah, anyway, so that's the story there.
00:48:46
Speaker 5: You got to listen to him when he says, if he's adamant about it, what are you getting, Craig for Father's There?
00:48:50
Speaker 4: So you know, I really do. I do a lot ahead of time. I do like picture frames, I do books now that the kids are older. It's cool that they can do it.
00:49:00
Speaker 5: I love about Mother's Day and Father's Day. Why I wish the you know, fathers in general. Maybe Greg would do more.
00:49:06
Speaker 4: Than the other's day because I feel like it's, if anything, it's for.
00:49:09
Speaker 5: The kids to understand the appreciation, which we've talked about. But just like a whole heap of stuff. I just have it on my radar and just pick up stuff when I got in, Like a cool sleeping pillow which is kind of like a pregnancy pillow.
00:49:19
Speaker 4: Have you seen this thing? I saw it North Show. So it's like a it's like a pillow, it's like a silk pillow case. But it's like a mini little face pillow. I think I've seen it. So it's just like it's like the softest stuff, like faced wedge. It's like a little thing.
00:49:34
Speaker 1: I don't know.
00:49:35
Speaker 4: It looked cool and it was like black and whatever. I was like, get us, get us one of those heck should.
00:49:40
Speaker 1: Wait? Where is that? I want that?
00:49:42
Speaker 4: I just Amazon DA because they didn't have it in black. It's it's called I think it's called Nurse Jamie from North Stum.
00:49:47
Speaker 5: I literally just saw it the other day and I was like, well that it literally looks like a little rabbit or I don't know, but it's like a flat it's a silk.
00:49:53
Speaker 4: Pillow for no wrinkles, all soft and squishy.
00:49:57
Speaker 2: That's amazing. I literally had to buy Riley a pregnancy pillow.
00:50:01
Speaker 1: Yes, is it this weird? Isn't that so?
00:50:04
Speaker 4: It looks like it's sixty nine dollars on Amazon?
00:50:08
Speaker 2: It what's the other? What's the other in thing for? I'd see the head goes they look weird. I don't get it.
00:50:15
Speaker 4: It doesn't go.
00:50:15
Speaker 2: It doesn't go to your whole bot.
00:50:17
Speaker 4: I tried it a Norseham and it seemed really great, like you.
00:50:19
Speaker 2: Could just like, wait, so you cuddle it, right, it's like a face cuddle.
00:50:23
Speaker 4: I'm not sure this goes on your shoulder, this hook thing right, No.
00:50:27
Speaker 2: I can't tell where does your I thought your head goes right there. No, in the middle of that.
00:50:31
Speaker 1: Oh that it comes in leopard, doesn't It doesn't come in black.
00:50:34
Speaker 4: I bought the black one.
00:50:35
Speaker 1: It says midnight gray.
00:50:37
Speaker 4: Oh, I got it.
00:50:38
Speaker 5: Looks I got midnight gray and the story was black, so I assume the midnight gray meant black.
00:50:42
Speaker 2: All right, Well, she just bought it.
00:50:46
Speaker 1: But you know, and don't forget to use your Amazon. Amazon always on there.
00:50:51
Speaker 5: But you know what, the thing with these guys, they don't need anything, So she's kind of trying to find a couple of cool gadgets. I'll probably end up, you know, they won't use half, or you'll return half or whatever it is. But it's fun to find little things that are different in their life world, you know.
00:51:04
Speaker 6: I like that.
00:51:04
Speaker 1: I just bought the pillow I got him. He can't find his little bow speaker, so I got a new speaker. But it's a little bigger than the last one, and it had a caring case with it. It came in the mail. I haven't really opened it.
00:51:16
Speaker 5: I think speakers are great for guys, Like, yeah, every two years, a news speaker's technology changes so much.
00:51:22
Speaker 1: This might be too big for him though, But I thought it might be. I don't know something he can just you know what, I know what he's gonna say, mark my words.
00:51:29
Speaker 4: It's so big. You know what you should do.
00:51:31
Speaker 5: Remember when we were in Puntakana and he was like obsessed with getting a good playlist. You should bring like a separate phone so you don't have to use your phone maybe or I don't know, and get his playlist. Remember he was so obsessed with, like I need a good playlist.
00:51:43
Speaker 4: Like a you know, like a Miami pool playlist. You should sort that out ahead of time because that sounds like a lot of words that'll get him happy and in the mood. Because he's like a music.
00:51:50
Speaker 1: Well, you guys are both very like, yeah, he likes so the only problem with our beach music is he really likes that house chill or kind of stuff.
00:51:59
Speaker 5: And I'm like, but when I'm saying in Miami chill, which is more like stuff we would like to He's like, yeah, this is the jam, like keep the cocktails coming.
00:52:06
Speaker 4: Even if he's an Aspen funk. I think you get that ready, get his music for not happening.
00:52:12
Speaker 1: My mind immediately went to hacking for a gig. No, I don't care about that. I have to start. I have not done one thing for camp.
00:52:20
Speaker 4: You do everything so far ahead of time. There's no way that's true.
00:52:23
Speaker 1: I haven't done one thing for no one thing.
00:52:25
Speaker 3: No.
00:52:26
Speaker 1: So on Sunday, so Natalie showers, Saturday fucked, and then we have an event I can't talk about Saturday nights, which I will tell everyone next week. And then so Saturday's gone and Sunday I'm gonna pull out the camp trunks and start making lists and figuring it out and all of that because next weekend we're in Minnesota. I'm really like, I'm in a bit of a crunch.
00:52:51
Speaker 4: You're in a serious crunch.
00:52:52
Speaker 1: Yeah, So to sit down and make a playlist, it's just not No, it'll happen naturally. And you know what, he's so painful sometimes if it's the wrong playlist and I don't know right, then.
00:53:02
Speaker 4: You put effort into something that's let him sort it out once he gets out.
00:53:05
Speaker 6: But the Speakers is a perfect gift to bring. How do you get I think this speaker might be too big. I'll show it to you. You need a small one because you need that for the trip. He's very much like for by the pool.
00:53:16
Speaker 1: And which one do you like? Because the one that he used to have they don't make it anymore. Do you have a small one that you like? What?
00:53:22
Speaker 4: I would go to the Apple store?
00:53:24
Speaker 3: Not like you ever?
00:53:24
Speaker 4: Not like you want to go right back to the.
00:53:26
Speaker 5: Apple store has so many right now, and there are I mean, there's tons of good small ones.
00:53:30
Speaker 2: But I feel like, yeah, no, we use so nos h.
00:53:34
Speaker 4: But damn those ones that are like the little balls that are just like the little.
00:53:37
Speaker 1: Ball that's easy, And you think I got something like.
00:53:40
Speaker 4: That that's not that bad. But there are ones that are half the size.
00:53:43
Speaker 1: Yeah, do you like any of those?
00:53:44
Speaker 2: What are you going to do for I don't know. He bought me a juicer because I've been dying. I was dying for a juicer.
00:53:51
Speaker 4: Let me show you the one.
00:53:52
Speaker 2: Do I have to buy him something?
00:53:53
Speaker 1: No, it's not a father yet.
00:53:56
Speaker 4: I would definitely do a card, something cute, something.
00:53:59
Speaker 3: To keep.
00:54:01
Speaker 2: Maybe or maybe something small.
00:54:04
Speaker 1: Does Craig keep cards?
00:54:05
Speaker 3: No?
00:54:05
Speaker 4: But I keep them for.
00:54:06
Speaker 5: Him, like just like a box, like from whatever, the paper source kind of thing that I just keep them in there that way.
00:54:13
Speaker 2: One day, just slip him the box and be like, do you remember all these cards?
00:54:17
Speaker 4: Well, never to be seen again. But it's weird to throw them away.
00:54:21
Speaker 2: The kids like I toss cards?
00:54:23
Speaker 1: You do?
00:54:23
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, unless it's unless it's something that's super sentimental, that's written in it, I just toss it.
00:54:30
Speaker 2: Or like a big birthday or a big something.
00:54:32
Speaker 4: It's a lot, you know.
00:54:33
Speaker 5: The kid's like all your baby shower cards. I think it's fun sometimes. I mean it becomes a lot to house. Hence why I have eight sheds. But if you have, you put them in like a big ziplock and just write baby shower cards. It's yeah, to keep and show later like I've shown the girls. Oh really, it becomes a lot to keep.
00:54:47
Speaker 2: It's a lot. And I have a zero room.
00:54:49
Speaker 1: I have my bridal bouquet.
00:54:52
Speaker 5: You do.
00:54:52
Speaker 1: Why what would you ever do with it? Nothing? It's in a box.
00:54:56
Speaker 2: Don't you throw it?
00:54:58
Speaker 3: No?
00:54:58
Speaker 1: They make a separate one to throw, right, not the nice, big, pretty one.
00:55:02
Speaker 2: I would know, oh all the time.
00:55:11
Speaker 1: Oh dear, yeah, that's all right, are you excited for the shower? I'm so excited excited, you know, she still doesn't already I.
00:55:17
Speaker 3: Have I know nothing, So I'm just excited about just walking in and seeing what the heck I'm walking into.
00:55:24
Speaker 1: So funny. We were doing the seating, so first we had to put people at different tables, and she kept asking questions like just stop asking, Yeah, just tell me who's that one to.
00:55:31
Speaker 2: By the way, I've been very good. I haven't asked anything about anything.
00:55:34
Speaker 3: The only reason why it was very particular about the seating arrangement is because I have family members that I'm surprised are even coming to this because they don't speak to each other.
00:55:46
Speaker 2: So it's very, very crucial.
00:55:49
Speaker 1: And you know how I feel about seating. It's very yes. But what happened was so we got all she had all the tables separated. But Nicole, she sent me this thing. She goes, she goes, how does this look? She like did a pass of all the tables. That are thinking, that's so random that she just plays people at tables. But you know, it was nice about it. It was a good jumping off point, right, Yeah, because you feel it could be like that doesn't work right right right anyway. So the way she sent it to me on the diagram showed certain elements of the place we're gonna be at, and I was like, I don't want to see that, Like can you can you send me another one that without the yellen and and don't put the tables in the arrangement they're in. Put them just side by side or whatever.
00:56:28
Speaker 4: To remove all elements.
00:56:30
Speaker 1: And NAT's like, well, am I gonna be back to back with this party? Yeah?
00:56:34
Speaker 2: Because I need to make sure that that their eyeline isn't like I hate that.
00:56:37
Speaker 3: You know what.
00:56:38
Speaker 1: I have to make sure.
00:56:40
Speaker 2: It's such a pain. I know, can everyone just get along?
00:56:43
Speaker 1: They will, It's gonna be so great, but just check.
00:56:45
Speaker 4: It's so much happiness that it'll all it's in your.
00:56:49
Speaker 2: I feel like your baby shower was just yesterday.
00:56:51
Speaker 1: I know, man, little there's gonna be perfect. I can't. I know.
00:56:56
Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, party tomorrow, Thank you for coming. It's so hare you to come.
00:57:00
Speaker 5: I think Coco will have fun at a children's museum like that. She's so good with Parker, by the way, she loves Parker.
00:57:07
Speaker 1: She's gonna be really excited to be there. Yeah, and yeah, I think she'll have fun. Yeah, how many kids are you having? Not a lot like twenty five like Mellow, but we rented out the entire place for twenty five kids.
00:57:18
Speaker 4: Yeah, because but don't you have to or you don't have to they.
00:57:22
Speaker 1: Don't party there. But oh problem is the problem is is that if you do it during the regular hours, the kids don't. It's like going to Dave and Buster.
00:57:29
Speaker 2: You have to be too many kids.
00:57:31
Speaker 1: Yes that they're all over the place right, which they are anyway at that.
00:57:35
Speaker 2: But then you're like, is that one of my kids?
00:57:36
Speaker 4: That one of my way? It's like Mellow, there's a lot of people. The doors are closed, so we have a bar.
00:57:42
Speaker 5: Everyone can relax so you can run and play. So I think it'll be two hours, two hours, five thirty to seven thirty. Yeah, so it'll be fun and crazy.
00:57:50
Speaker 1: How much time and money we put into a two hour party.
00:57:52
Speaker 4: Isn't it true?
00:57:53
Speaker 5: And you know, I've battled parties for a long time, but you really do it well to where it has like high impact but it doesn't destroy your life weeks leading up to it.
00:58:01
Speaker 1: Well, I've done that too. I think I just I'm a little farther down the road. Then you no, I peaked, and then I went the other way and did like, you know, well, at first, you know, I used to feed all the moms, and then I realized, no one eats, right, And what was me? You spend so much money trying to feed the adults and they don't eat.
00:58:17
Speaker 5: After how many big birthdays that like kind of like was a ton of money a ton of time?
00:58:21
Speaker 4: Were you like, okay, I feel like, let's move, Let's move.
00:58:25
Speaker 1: When the twins turn five and Coke Katerina turned one, I had a huge party at the Patina catering facility and it was like the most enormous party in each kid. It was like three and a half parties in one because it was such an enormous lawn that like each kid had their own ballue arch with their name leading into their area, so they each had their own bouncy house, they each had their own entertainment. But then centrally there was a DJ and things, and there were characters walking around and there was tons of food for.
00:58:55
Speaker 2: The parents, very kighly generoesque.
00:58:57
Speaker 1: Oh it was really well it's really I mean, and for those times and obviously not as over the top as Kyrie. It not a bill, you know what I mean. But it was really cool and Katerina was one and we did a whole like picket fence and a carpet and powdery barn chairs and book It was really cute. After that party, I was like, I felt like I had done such a great party and I really loved it. And I thought five was for some reason, I don't know why, I thought five was a big deal. And one it was obviously a big deal for kat and then I was kind of done and I threw a baby naming party for Coco, which I did for all of them, and then I don't know, I don't why, don't remember what we did for what did we do for Coco's first birthday? Were we at my Jim?
00:59:42
Speaker 2: I think so, my Jim.
00:59:43
Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't even throw her a big to do. I feel like I just got to the point where.
00:59:47
Speaker 2: It was little Lady Bugs was the first, No, it was the sex second.
00:59:50
Speaker 1: You can't remember, but for Coco's first birthday. So first of all, I was on Housewives at this point and like mildly exhausted, and it was important to me that the other three kids had fun at the party. When you're one, you don't you don't know, you don't remember, no, So that those my Jim Parsi grade. And it was so cute watching them all. I remember like all them running together.
01:00:14
Speaker 2: So cute playing with her and yeah, it was really really.
01:00:17
Speaker 4: Like that are so great for kids, like, you know, kids that age.
01:00:21
Speaker 1: And I think after that and Terry said to me, see, they have such a great time. And then but I feel like sometimes I do the big bougie parties and sometimes I don't. Like Katerina's party at the Beach Bonfire, Yeah, that was a lot, right, that was you know, a lot of planning. That was you know, a lot of money and it was a little, you know, kind of fun and not over the top, but like a big party. Max's had parties like that when she turned thirteen. But then there's been other years that it's you know.
01:00:47
Speaker 4: That it's just what they want, like laser tag or whatever. It's perfect because that's what they want at that age.
01:00:52
Speaker 1: Or MAT's had the Escape Room a couple of years ago, right, and it was just like twelve girls. But then we had dinner afterwards, and you know, I did the table really beautiful, but it wasn't you know, a gazillion dollar party. They evolve, You evolve, And I think sometimes it's also depending on what else is going on in your life, right, Because the hard when you want to do it and you love drawing parties, right, and I do too, under the right circumstances. But I think when it works for you and you really love doing it, you do it. And I think that we all get to those points in our lives where other kids take precedent and there's something else going on, or with your significant other or your parents, or you're saying that something else is going on, and you go, Okay, you know what, this year, we're not going to do that, right, let's just make a different choice. I mean, Katerina said to me, why aren't we having a Memorial Day party?
01:01:44
Speaker 6: Huh?
01:01:45
Speaker 1: She's what we always do. We always have people over a Memorial Day. And I thought, she's right, I always have Amorial Day party, you know what?
01:01:52
Speaker 4: Not this year? The cards right now?
01:01:54
Speaker 2: No, But that was like Super Bowl. I mean sometimes you have a party, you don't.
01:01:58
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think your kids are just used to be throwing parties and you do something big all the time.
01:02:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, dress I'm wearing to the party. Just went by.
01:02:07
Speaker 2: I didn't see it.
01:02:08
Speaker 4: I know, baby shower.
01:02:10
Speaker 2: Yeah, why does that have to be a surprise.
01:02:12
Speaker 4: I don't know everything should be.
01:02:15
Speaker 2: I don't have enough, but yet I have to go shopping.
01:02:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you get? We went to so it was a disaster. Naked wardrobes.
01:02:20
Speaker 2: Naked wardrobe.
01:02:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, they have pop up shop on Milrose.
01:02:23
Speaker 2: I love their their clothes right now because everything's really stretching. It sort of sucks you.
01:02:27
Speaker 1: In and she wants to suck the baby.
01:02:29
Speaker 2: I want to just like, no, it's really the love handles and the thighs. They have just grown out of proportion here. So I went. We went, and I tried on a couple of things and it was just horrendous.
01:02:41
Speaker 1: I bought the cutest thing now, Leopard.
01:02:46
Speaker 3: It's just and trying on things next to this one, I'm like, okay, I'm done, not pregnant.
01:02:50
Speaker 2: I don't want to Yeah, thank you. I'm like, all right, I'm out of your.
01:02:54
Speaker 4: Little leopard stretchy thing.
01:02:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's like long sleeve to the neck like the one that you like.
01:02:58
Speaker 4: It's adorable.
01:02:59
Speaker 6: Love.
01:03:00
Speaker 1: Yes, it's shorter than that one, but it's it's more like that color. It's like a darker boulder leopard pattern and it's just so cute.
01:03:11
Speaker 2: It's cute.
01:03:11
Speaker 1: Are you taking it to Paris? Probably Europe?
01:03:14
Speaker 4: Ye can't wait to see what the fashion is.
01:03:17
Speaker 1: You know what?
01:03:18
Speaker 4: Please on behalf of everyone that follows you. Will you please take a picture of every outfit before you out in Europe?
01:03:24
Speaker 1: I won't.
01:03:25
Speaker 5: I just want to see all the outfits before you, because once you go out, you're having fun and like you're so much fun that like you know, and forget And this is Harry taking a picture like.
01:03:33
Speaker 1: Come on that, yeah, and like do This is a nice way of saying you never take pictures.
01:03:38
Speaker 5: I know you never take pictures, and I always want to see because I didn't see you in real life. I'm like, oh my gosh, tell me about this outfits.
01:03:45
Speaker 4: People would like just.
01:03:46
Speaker 1: Love to see it.
01:03:46
Speaker 4: It's fun, all right.
01:03:47
Speaker 1: I will post my wardrobe through your past. I do what live by carriously through you. What else is going on this weekend? Yeah? What's coming with you?
01:03:56
Speaker 4: I mean you have the birth yea, and it is real birthdays on Sunday, So I need to figure out something. I was thinking maybe zoom mar is that little zoo.
01:04:04
Speaker 1: Like South County are going to be hot, you know, I think it's like mild weather.
01:04:08
Speaker 2: Oh, the girls excited, they're so excited. I can imagine they're obsessed with him.
01:04:13
Speaker 4: Yeah, they're so cute to obsessed with him, and it's just so fun to celebrate.
01:04:16
Speaker 5: And he's at this now, at a cool age to where he gets like these little fun things that he does like the girl. So I kept telling him forever not to teach him how to say no, but now they taught him, and so he waves his little finger and goes, not no, you just die. Then, Parker, it's bedtime.
01:04:32
Speaker 4: No dances on the bed. You're just like, we'll do something fun.
01:04:37
Speaker 5: But lately, and my my was asking you last weekend, I've been trying to plan more like I feel like plan more like, like have more of a plan, Like you know, oh weekends.
01:04:45
Speaker 4: You just go into it and it's kind of fly.
01:04:47
Speaker 5: And for some reason lately in our family, when you wake up on a Sunday and be like, what should we do, you know, sometimes that can just go sideways.
01:04:54
Speaker 4: So I'm just trying it, but it's hard because you.
01:04:55
Speaker 5: Don't want to have more plans because times you wake up and you're like, I don't want to do all those So okay, I'm.
01:04:59
Speaker 1: Glad you brought that up because because you were telling me. You asked me the other day it was like, do.
01:05:03
Speaker 4: You have a plan for every weekend?
01:05:05
Speaker 5: You know, like you know you have this bakeoff and you know, like just all the different things you do, Like is there a set plan going into it? Because I think a lot of times that equals success rather than you know, like especially as women, we wake up and we've finally gotten ourselves dressed and whatever. If you have kids, all your kids dress and then you're kind of like, okay, well now it's you know, and I don't always want to just go eat meals all the time. Yeah, no, I don't need expensive meals for every meal, but we end up just going to restaurants.
01:05:28
Speaker 4: So like, what's your tip for like full family time.
01:05:33
Speaker 1: Well, it's a slippery slope because I think one thing that I've done wrong historically has been We're gonna do this this weekend, and then you get to the weekend and you're like, oh, it's so right, don't You can't build things up if you're not sure you're gonna do them if you know you're gonna do them, like going to the fair, like we always go to the Orange Accounting Mirror. You know, I love the fair, so wey say this is the day we're going to the fair whatever, so that I will stick to and tell them when we're going and whatnot. But for the weekend, the bake off, Katerina really wanted to do. I think it was it must have been her idea, so that was a plan, and I said, all right, I'm gonna go to the gym, I'm gonna come home, we're gonna get groceries, and then we're gonna start baking. And I'm just I just know in my mind this is what we're doing. But sometimes what I'll do is see what I think would be a good idea to do it for the weekend and just wait and see how everyone wakes up.
01:06:22
Speaker 3: I think it's harder though, because you have you have like smaller kids, yeah, and you have to keep them entertained.
01:06:28
Speaker 2: Whereas they have friends over, they'll do.
01:06:30
Speaker 1: Things like coins do. But Coco and cats, but Cat, I.
01:06:34
Speaker 3: Mean still is getting older, so yours are. I think you'll play a little bit harder. That's like Okay, do we go to the park, do we do this? Do we do that?
01:06:40
Speaker 5: Like?
01:06:41
Speaker 2: How do you? I think like they get bored easy.
01:06:43
Speaker 1: I see, I don't. I'm not sure it's bored. I think they just need to expend energy, right, But in some ways it's harder at that age. I agree. In some ways it's easier because you can go to the park, right, I mean a couple of balls and the park for an hour and then a gelato on the way home is like three and a half.
01:07:00
Speaker 4: All day.
01:07:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's all thrill thing.
01:07:02
Speaker 6: Yeah.
01:07:02
Speaker 3: Yeah.
01:07:03
Speaker 1: With us, it's like what do you want to do?
01:07:05
Speaker 5: Yeah, you want to go a lot of opinions, and they have friends and it's all out driving and coordinating and overlapping.
01:07:10
Speaker 4: I'm sure it's certainly easier when they're younger, right.
01:07:13
Speaker 1: It's just diffferent. It's easier and harder.
01:07:16
Speaker 5: But I think that's a great takeaway. Have an idea of what you want to do, you know, like even if it's not a.
01:07:21
Speaker 1: Set plan, or sometimes if I have to fly float it by them, I'll say, like I was thinking about this, I'm not sure we can do it. But because if they all go no, do it yea. But like, so we're going to be in Minnesota for the Father's Day thing they're doing at school. I told you, And so Terry feels awful, and I'm like, you've got to do something with her. She really wants to go to the K one Racetrack. So I said, you know, you should take her on Sunday. And so I had to ask her, right, because you know, she's you never never know, so like, hey, you know, what do you think about going to the K one Racetrack this week? It's like, oh, so, yeah, I want to go go And I was like, okay, And is it going to be just the two of them? I don't know. I'm certainly not driving. I've done it before. I'm good. Check the box, right, So the two of them will drive for sure, although I don't know if the adults and the kids are allowed to be on the same track. I don't think so. I thought it was separate, but I don't it's separate. What if that's gonna bug her.
01:08:20
Speaker 2: Because now she feels like she's just doing it alone.
01:08:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, I need to tell her that.
01:08:24
Speaker 2: But they can drive together.
01:08:26
Speaker 1: No, it's one person per car, right.
01:08:28
Speaker 2: Though I thought that you can drive with the little ones.
01:08:30
Speaker 3: Now, I don't know.
01:08:33
Speaker 2: I thought you could.
01:08:34
Speaker 3: Remember because I thought that the like the younger ones had to go with the adults.
01:08:38
Speaker 1: Maybe not, you have to be a certain height to drive, But I don't you know what, I don't know.
01:08:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, I could have sworn you're able to go with an adult at Boomers.
01:08:47
Speaker 1: You can because it's side by side. Yeah, but I feel like these are one person per a k one.
01:08:53
Speaker 3: Well even if it I mean, if it is, they can go together and they can laugh and they can have a moment together on the track.
01:09:00
Speaker 1: And if not, we'll see what happened. Someone us have to pull out camp trunks. And meanwhile, Coco is still coming in my room every night.
01:09:07
Speaker 4: She is like literally coming in your bed or just in your room and waiting.
01:09:10
Speaker 1: She comes in a wakespamp, but it's really gotten aggressive, Like she opens the door in like such. She turns on the light in the hallway and then she opens the door in such an aggressive way, and she's like scary, scary. I get up and I'm like, what what's wrong? He's on fire? But here's the good thing I'm doing. So usually I would walk her back and I'd have to stay there for like an hour. And what I realized was I would lay there for an hour and then all of a sudden I'd get up to leave and she was still awake, and I'm like, I'm dying here for an hour trying not to fall asleep so I can go back to my own room. And then she's still up. So now I walk her back and I say, I love you, you're safe, everything, and I give her a little speech and then I leave, and then that she'll go back to sleep.
01:09:58
Speaker 4: What is she worried about? Or what is what's the what's the what's the thing that wakes her up?
01:10:03
Speaker 5: She doesn't say I'm scared or I'm not tired, or I just want to sleep with you, or like what does she say?
01:10:08
Speaker 1: Uh, it's different. It just depends I couldn't fall asleep or I woke up and no one was there. Because I think that's the problem with staying there until they fall asleep, and then you leave and they're like you, it's like you just disappeared. That's why I'm trying to just kiss her and say I love you and walk out before she and I just walk out right, which she doesn't love, but she's getting used to.
01:10:28
Speaker 3: It, right, I think you may have to go talk to somebody and try to get other opinions and things that you can do, because clearly it's not working.
01:10:35
Speaker 1: Let's get a let's get a sleep specialist on the show, can't we maybe a doctor missus guinea pick? Yeah, didn't I have the name of someone in LA I thought you Jill someone or other you guys, if anyone has the name of a good sleep kids sleep therapist, let me know. Yeah, for sure.
01:10:48
Speaker 2: But because you're exhausted. You know, Terry's exhausted. She's probably exhausted.
01:10:53
Speaker 1: It's just now she's going to Sleepway camp. So I have to wait till she comes back.
01:10:55
Speaker 2: Right, it's just gonna throw it, or maybe when she'll come back and she'll be fine.
01:10:59
Speaker 1: The thing about Sleepway, but she's sleeping in a room with like six other kids.
01:11:01
Speaker 2: She's fine, but that she doesn't know, she does care.
01:11:04
Speaker 4: She just bought someone there, right, Yeah, she don't want to be alone in there.
01:11:09
Speaker 1: We'll see the question is what's going to happen to Mark the tortoise while everyone's.
01:11:12
Speaker 2: Gone, there'll be people here. You're fine.
01:11:15
Speaker 4: I have a strict no pets policy.
01:11:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, by the way, amen to that goodness.
01:11:20
Speaker 2: Cheers. That looks so delicious.
01:11:22
Speaker 1: All right, So just to wrap up, yep, we've had Father's Day gifts. Now I'm gonna go show you the uh speaker I bought and tell me you guys think it's too big by Carrie Carey.
01:11:32
Speaker 4: See you need a backup one half the size one?
01:11:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, can you send me one? That was so fun.
01:11:38
