00:00:01
Speaker 1: Hello, this is Ali Clark.
00:00:03
Speaker 2: Hey, this is Max Burfort.
00:00:04
Speaker 3: Hello, this is Shane Low.
00:00:07
Speaker 1: Oh my god, do you know what you reminded me of? If you had your jacket over your hand, you'd be on sixty minutes just then.
00:00:12
Speaker 2: That This is child.
00:00:18
Speaker 3: That's my favorite one.
00:00:19
Speaker 2: Right, it's a mess one again again, this is child? Can you actually? Can you take the meek out of making? That's what it sounds.
00:00:31
Speaker 1: We try to get him to say, silly Sammy love sausages.
00:00:38
Speaker 2: It's you if it's.
00:00:39
Speaker 1: Not taking the people. That's a fun family guy.
00:00:41
Speaker 4: They want people to take a people out of people with lisps. They wouldn't make the word lisp.
00:00:46
Speaker 1: I know what? What what is going on with that?
00:00:49
Speaker 2: They've had an absolute night man that one and beer. It's not how it sound.
00:00:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right, lisp.
00:01:00
Speaker 2: You know what it almost is?
00:01:02
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I think it is. Hey, Shane, have you ever heard of on amata peer before?
00:01:06
Speaker 3: Yes?
00:01:06
Speaker 1: I have you.
00:01:07
Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a musical term, right, it's like in music you can hit the automatic pier.
00:01:11
Speaker 1: No, it's something you eat.
00:01:13
Speaker 2: Oh is it really?
00:01:15
Speaker 3: You can eat on a matap green pears?
00:01:18
Speaker 1: You will actually probably.
00:01:19
Speaker 3: You are making this up. You're lying to me.
00:01:20
Speaker 1: No, I'm not.
00:01:22
Speaker 3: You cannot eat an on a matter peer, you can't.
00:01:26
Speaker 1: You can go to sexual markets if you go, you know the mushroom man just ride oppositely. She is there right in between them and the yogurt shop there is I can't.
00:01:37
Speaker 2: Stall. You can't.
00:01:43
Speaker 1: I have no idea what we just.
00:01:46
Speaker 5: Sounds trick of the day goes to Good Charlotte Lifestyles of the Rich and famous maids.
00:01:50
Speaker 1: You up and moving, doesn't it now? Max Burford, you're all things sport expert. Tell us about this kid that we've been hearing about. Well, he's a young man that we've been hearing about with Mazzie in the new room. He's taken off and been signed to some super duper massive rich soccer club.
00:02:04
Speaker 2: Nest story Aaron Kunda.
00:02:06
Speaker 4: That's why we're talking about last star was rich and famous because he's going to join Bayern Munich, which is, according to Forbes, the sixth most valuable football club on the planet.
00:02:16
Speaker 1: Like, so billions, millions.
00:02:18
Speaker 4: Four point five billion euros, which is probably close like over eight million, eight billion Australian dollars. This club is worth. Yeah, So he's seventeen, he finished school this year. He finish school like two months ago.
00:02:33
Speaker 1: Where is he from?
00:02:34
Speaker 4: He is originally born in Tanzania. He's born in a refugee camp. His parents are from Burundi. They fled there during the war, had him in a refugee camp. They moved to Perth briefly and then he grew up in Adelaide. So he was here as a baby and he's been out in Adelade's northern suburbs. He played for Parafield Gardens.
00:02:50
Speaker 1: Oh how good is this?
00:02:51
Speaker 4: So from Parafield Gardens he's going to go and play at Alian's arena, which is like they have seventy five thousand people every single week. This club, they've won eleven straight German titles. Right, they are the six Champions League. They're one of the biggest clubs on the planet.
00:03:07
Speaker 1: So when you know most of us maybe haven't exposure to a club. Maybe you know, we have to work on the sausage sizzle to try to raise money so we can get you know, the new canopy that needs to go over the barbecue because the other one's got a hud. That's probably not what's going to be happening at Bayern Munich now.
00:03:23
Speaker 4: Bayern Munich as much as they probably do serve Bratworth. They've probably had a Bratwurst sizzle, but I would imagine it's one of about three hundred kaosks they have around this stadium. The club is so wealthy, so like they've just bought Nesta, our man Nesta. It's just incredible to see Adelaide and Bayern Munich mentioned in the same sentence.
00:03:42
Speaker 2: And it'll be just over a million bucks.
00:03:44
Speaker 4: But they have players there that are worth So they bought Harry Kane, very famous English playt They bought him in the off season for one hundred and sixty nine million dollars.
00:03:52
Speaker 1: Oh my god, countries aren't worth that much.
00:03:54
Speaker 4: They have a twenty year old at the moment who they are hoping that Nestor can sort of develop into in three year's time, named Jamal Musiala, who if they sold him tomorrow, would be worth over two hundred million dollars.
00:04:09
Speaker 1: Shane Doy, you think it's too late for you to start learning how to play something?
00:04:11
Speaker 3: How does one get good at the soccer?
00:04:16
Speaker 1: So I remember I was very very fortunate I went inside the Liverpool training areas. So Liverpool another massive, big club and we're over there for Matt's work over in London and we got this tour. It was and I don't follow football soccer very very much, but do you know how I knew that we were in the presence of richness. So we walked into the locker rooms and they had their own Liverpool branded water bottles in their own.
00:04:44
Speaker 2: That's wealth, isn't it.
00:04:45
Speaker 1: There was also more hair straighteners than I have seen in my dresses in Adelaide. It was out of control. They even had a swimming pool that the entire bottom of the swimming pool raised up, so you didn't have to do the to get yourself out of the.
00:05:04
Speaker 2: I don't want to in yourself get out.
00:05:05
Speaker 1: There's twenty five meter pool. The entire bottom of it would raise up, so they could choose just to walk in ankle deep water or knee deep water or even.
00:05:14
Speaker 5: Go that's pretty fancy. Although we do have a desk here that goes up and down.
00:05:17
Speaker 4: It's true we're pretty much comparison for Nesta between No Offense that Laid United. But they do train out at Playford and like it's transportable change.
00:05:31
Speaker 1: Oh well, well done to so the boy from Parafield Gardens. Well via Tanzania.
00:05:36
Speaker 4: Did you say yes, born in Tanzania, parents are from Burundi.
00:05:39
Speaker 6: Wow.
00:05:40
Speaker 4: Can I just point out for their family that he's got two older brothers. The family said to the two older brothers, you can't play because it costs too much to have all three of you play. We're just going to focus on Nestor because he's going to be a superstar one day and now he's just signed for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
00:05:55
Speaker 2: So I think decision vindicated.
00:05:58
Speaker 1: Or would you be a bit dirty? Few of the older brothers?
00:06:03
Speaker 5: Human light Detector find out what makes people like how.
00:06:07
Speaker 2: To pick them as well.
00:06:07
Speaker 1: Everybody's looking a bit nev.
00:06:10
Speaker 3: Right now.
00:06:11
Speaker 1: Happy hump day everybody. And that's exactly why we are Kelly Noble in on today because as owner and all things guru about gleam Adelaide, she can tell us what's coming up for the weekend and we can start making our plans. Hello, Hello, okay, well what have you got for us this weekend?
00:06:25
Speaker 7: My three picks this weekend? I'm going to start with the Ginger Lemon Grass Festival. I see blank faces over here.
00:06:32
Speaker 2: Like two different bits of seasoning.
00:06:33
Speaker 1: Yeah that we like cook our Sturfro with.
00:06:35
Speaker 2: The Salten Peper Festival.
00:06:36
Speaker 7: Yes, so this is I think this is a sister event to the Isasia not Isasia Asia Oasis Festival.
00:06:43
Speaker 8: It's on this weekend.
00:06:44
Speaker 7: It's celebrating Asian street food and culture, which is a favorite of mine. It's at Golden Grove High School, Oval from Friday to Sunday.
00:06:52
Speaker 1: That sounds great and it's pretty interesting. I love the ones that are actually dead set in suburbia where it's at that school. I think that's absolutely cool. But why would you not do it all the Asia festivals on?
00:07:03
Speaker 9: Oh?
00:07:04
Speaker 7: I think you know, there's a lot of stuff happening there. So okay, this is this is completely separate.
00:07:07
Speaker 8: This is great.
00:07:08
Speaker 2: Asia is a thing all year round a year there. I think I think she needed to be told.
00:07:16
Speaker 1: That's not what I'm saying. I really want the Ginger Lemon Grass Festival to work. And it bothers me that we're only just hearing about it now. Well you know where am I going?
00:07:25
Speaker 10: Then?
00:07:25
Speaker 1: Golden Grows.
00:07:26
Speaker 7: Yes it's Golden Grove, but they've got one hundred Asian dishes, I've got cultural performances, art, workshops, cooking classes, folk games.
00:07:33
Speaker 8: This is something for you, Alie. There's bamboo still walking.
00:07:40
Speaker 1: All right, Okay, So take the little people in your life out to Gold and Grow for the Ginger Lemon Grass Festival.
00:07:45
Speaker 7: Cool Friday, Sunday and then Saturday and Sunday we have cheese.

Speaker 2: We can get biggest, biggest weekends. It just gets better and better.
00:08:01
Speaker 1: You don't you honestly don't go outside for cheese.
00:08:04
Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I go and Gus Kelly would know.
00:08:06
Speaker 5: You need to get there early because sometimes they do run out of crackets.
00:08:08
Speaker 1: Okay.
00:08:09
Speaker 3: And the last day's the best day, Kelly.
00:08:10
Speaker 2: Why Why because you can.
00:08:11
Speaker 8: Get cheap cheese. I mean you've got a stay till stumps.
00:08:16
Speaker 7: Yeah, but all the stools need to move their stock at the end of the day, so you just kind of float around being like, so got new deals. So Saturday it's eleven till eight, and Sunday it's eleven till six. It's in Rundle Park. I don't say twenty five bucks, but you can get a weekend past for forty. Children under twelve are free. You can't send them on their own.
00:08:34
Speaker 1: You've got to go with the kids.
00:08:36
Speaker 7: But look there's everything. They've got master classes, they've got entertainment. Obviously, they've got all the food. It's not just cheese. Chris Lloyd, who runs a festival, she's room to anything.
00:08:45
Speaker 11: That is.
00:08:48
Speaker 8: What's the word for.
00:08:49
Speaker 1: It, a compliment? No no, no no.
00:08:52
Speaker 8: So like your com Butcher's and your sour krauts.
00:08:54
Speaker 2: Natural artesian, tell you about what the.
00:09:00
Speaker 1: World is it.
00:09:03
Speaker 7: That's look, I know it's early. It's fermented is the word I was like, But you know everything.
00:09:10
Speaker 9: You know.
00:09:10
Speaker 7: Duncan from Africola is doing a smoked raclette, which is when they like melt the cheese like oozers over the Oh my god. The food is just absolutely brilliant. So that's all weekend. The Baober Design markets are back. Now this is a cracker for Christmas. This is where you get all Christmas presents from. So it's at.
00:09:28
Speaker 8: Wayville Pavilion at the showground. So it's massive.
00:09:31
Speaker 7: It's Friday through Sunday and it's basically kids under twelve are three adults of six bucks. But it's all the you know, crafty fashion, homewhere's jewelry, there's food.
00:09:42
Speaker 8: There's a food course it's.
00:09:43
Speaker 1: A fine different stuff as opposed to giving vouchers for Christmas. And it's beautiful, beautiful things that have done by you know, little small businesses. It's really cool and there's.
00:09:52
Speaker 7: Lots of South Australian designers there. There's forty one new designers this time. Very cool and you can get things gift wrapped for a donation to Catherine.
00:09:59
Speaker 1: House that it's beautiful doing the right thing by shopping, all right, So there you go. So on the weekend you might want to get to the Bowerber Design Market. Stuff on you stock up on your Chrissy presents. Then we'll go over to gold and Grove to the Ginger and Lemon Grass Festival and eat one hundred different types of Asian food. 00:10:36
Speaker 2: Ali Card, Breakfast Shows, Top twenty lies. Told on a first date.
00:10:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, this all started because a girlfriend of mine went on a date and the bloke said, oh, we haven't been catching up because I've been in America on business, and then later in the conversation revealed that he still need to get a passport.
00:10:51
Speaker 4: He hasn't been doing any business in America.
00:10:55
Speaker 1: Why did he think America was the place like I would be more impressive? He said, I've been doing businessing.
00:11:00
Speaker 2: Ramala, would you Yeah, that's type of business, don't you want to say? Like I was in Zurich?
00:11:05
Speaker 1: Yes, diamonds? Yeah, okay, okay, I'm with you there. Hey Laura from Seaford on thirteen one O two three, have you got a lie that you've been told?
00:11:14
Speaker 2: I do agree.
00:11:15
Speaker 12: I was told that he could speak Japanese, which I thought was pretty cool. But then a few weeks later we actually went to a Japanese restaurant and the waiters, you know, hello in Japanese, and I thought, oh, this is his time to shine. You know, he's going to talk in Japanese. But yeah, it turned out that he could only say hello and thank you.
00:11:37
Speaker 1: You want to say that, right, Laura, Why the hell would you agree to go to a Japanese restaurant.
00:11:43
Speaker 12: I don't know. I just I don't think they think that far ahead. These men these days are just anything impressed.
00:11:50
Speaker 13: But that's about it.
00:11:51
Speaker 4: Were you impressed when he said I can speak Japanese or you're a little bit like that's cool?
00:11:55
Speaker 13: But also what oh I think we have been told?
00:11:58
Speaker 14: I don't know.
00:11:58
Speaker 12: I think I did Japanese army store and stuff. I think that's just you know how it came up and he just decided that that was out. O.
00:12:05
Speaker 1: Well, did you are Alison d Yeah, yeah, yeah, thank you Laura. All right, So there's another one that added the list to remember, keep them coming thirteen one, O two three If you want a chance to go off and see Jerry's Seinfeld. Now, we have been getting you to vote every day because we want to put together this top twenty and are you ready for the top three as it stands?
00:12:28
Speaker 2: So far?
00:12:29
Speaker 3: Oh my god? So ready?
00:12:30
Speaker 2: All right?
00:12:30
Speaker 1: All right, here we go. Number three. Okay, this was one that was a little bit difficult for us to get our head around, because wow, this man went to some serious lengths to well try to get rid of somebody.
00:12:40
Speaker 15: I came out of a bad marriage and I didn't really have one over bar of it.
00:12:44
Speaker 1: Yeaheah.
00:12:45
Speaker 15: So you know you came up with these lines with how you would get out of the situation. So when a woman asked you what do you do for a living? I would go, oh, I'll work at the Adelaide zoos. Oh what do you do there? I care all the heavy stuff, if you.
00:12:59
Speaker 13: Know what I mean.
00:13:00
Speaker 15: Most of the women would run away. Well, the lady that I met I kept telling me all women are not the same, and we stayed together the last seven years. So back by it, I'd me, I love it.
00:13:11
Speaker 1: The heavy stuff, by the way, is poop.
00:13:13
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:13:14
Speaker 1: See, if I found out someone was working at the zoo, I'd stick with him forever, Like, I think that's such a.
00:13:18
Speaker 4: Cool shows he said it, though, I was just like, I can I know that, Shane, definitely, And surely you if someone came home, if your husband came home smelled that poop every day, that's a lot.
00:13:29
Speaker 1: Matt's best mate was a fishmonger. Smell all right, let's get into the next one.
00:13:34
Speaker 14: Number two.
00:13:35
Speaker 1: Oh, and this one absolutely broke our hearts. Sean from Salisbury Downs, You've been through a fair bit. On the first day you met a girl, she said, I definitely want kids. But then what happened?
00:13:47
Speaker 2: So we tried for almost fifteen years, and she said, yeah, she was desperately one of children.
00:13:52
Speaker 6: I found out that she had her tubes tied when she was younger.
00:13:57
Speaker 1: And all this time she knew that was just not a possibility. Yeah, and listen to your voice, Sean. It's obviously so emotional for you.
00:14:04
Speaker 16: Now, and now I'm sort of yeah, struggling.
00:14:09
Speaker 6: A lot more.
00:14:10
Speaker 1: Your a bit lost, mate. Yeah, that still takes my breath away. That's just horrible.
00:14:16
Speaker 4: It is so far further than being able to speak Japanese exactly.
00:14:22
Speaker 1: All right, let's finish with the one leading number one this person has done. I think, what a lot of you blokes, Sorry, I don't want to generalize. See, we got a lot of you blokes have potentially tried to pull off.
00:14:35
Speaker 10: I told my date that I was a magnificent cook. I can do I make you a perfect dinner. It failed viserically, so I went to a restaurant and got a tuna morna as a takeaway you just put something in the fin and down my evidence.
00:14:51
Speaker 1: It still makes me laugh and out of everything you could get from a takeaway restaurant, he's gone with a It's.
00:14:56
Speaker 4: One of the things that carries like the least well when you bring it home.
00:15:01
Speaker 1: Not only that, also the least sexy meal. I think. All right, so we're still adding still adding lies for our countdown. All you need to do is get on to Facebook after nine o'clock today and then you can keep voting, and every time you vote, you're in the running for two hundred and fifty bucks just for helping us put together this countdown, and just a heads up to after eight o'clock, we're going to introduce you to somebody who can teach you how to be a human light detector. You're still hunting for the little lies that may have been told while you're going through the dating scene or maybe having a crack at it again for the second or third time. Michelle from Kidman Park, what were you told?
00:15:38
Speaker 13: Hi? Guys?
00:15:38
Speaker 1: Hey going very well.
00:15:42
Speaker 13: So I was actually dating a police officer and I was seeing him for a couple of years, but it was always like really hard to catch up with him, and I always put it down to his shift work. Anyway, I decided to end it because he just he just ended up ghosting in the end. And then like a couple of years later, I was talking to this lady and found out that I've actually been seeing her partner. Oh no, the same time, and it was the same timeline, the same dates, years, et cetera. And then she actually told me that I was one of four people that she had found.
00:16:32
Speaker 1: And yeah, women, and the other the.
00:16:38
Speaker 13: Other people that she'd found. And when she had disclosed it to him, his excuse was, well, I make love to you, but I only have sex with them.
00:16:49
Speaker 1: Oh that old chestnut, Like what, how is that a thing?
00:16:55
Speaker 2: Michelle?
00:16:55
Speaker 4: How did it click when you were talking with this with this woman? How did you guys go second, that could be the same guy that I'm seeing.
00:17:03
Speaker 13: Because we were talking about being love bombed all the time and ghosting and that, you know men, and I've just recently, you know, I was seeing someone beautiful dates, beautiful flowers. And then I held my guard up, and then when he divulged his feelings, I divulged mine. And now I've been ghosted.
00:17:25
Speaker 1: Honey. It's hard, really, hurtful.
00:17:31
Speaker 13: But after speaking to her for quite some time and like we were becoming like nice katerinall and I said, yeah, there was a situation that really hurt me. And he was a police officer blah blah blah. And when she showed me his picture, I'm like, yeah, that him.
00:17:47
Speaker 1: So, Michelle, he was definitely a copper.
00:17:50
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he was sure.
00:17:53
Speaker 1: All right, Hey, Michelle, I'm so so.
00:17:54
Speaker 13: He doesn't matter the uniform. No, it's the person.
00:17:58
Speaker 1: And keep hanging in there, because because you went through a lot, didn't your shame? But now you're happy?
00:18:03
Speaker 3: Yes I did.
00:18:03
Speaker 5: I thought I broke my heart was broken. I thought I'm never ever going to find someone.
00:18:07
Speaker 3: Now I feel like.
00:18:08
Speaker 1: Into like a million piece of millions.
00:18:11
Speaker 13: I think you guys need to have a big get together a girl yeah again?
00:18:17
Speaker 1: Why not? All right, Michelle? Well thank you hanging there? All right?
00:18:22
Speaker 2: All right?
00:18:22
Speaker 1: Well what four? Just got the time and the energy?
00:18:27
Speaker 2: What did? What did he say? I make love? Do you have sex with us? I don't know if I could.
00:18:31
Speaker 1: I'm sleep with everybody now I'm in really sleep.
00:18:35
Speaker 3: So let's find out what's happening in the world of claps me.
00:18:40
Speaker 1: Let's do that a little bit sad to start off with. Obviously, we know that Matthew Perry passed away about two weeks ago. Now. He played Chandler in Friends and he's offsider. His great mate Matt LeBlanc, who played Joey, his best buddy on that show, has finally spoken out. He posted on Instagram it is with a heavy heart I say goodbye the times we had together honestly amongst the favorite times of my life. Rainbow Connections playing in the background of all of this. I love his final line, spread wings and fly brother, You're finally free. Much love. And I guess you're keeping the twenty bucks he won me.
00:19:16
Speaker 2: I'd be from the house.
00:19:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, it was very nice, all right. Robbie Williams is here, yay, and he did a massive press conference and it's all over the place because he's here in an Australian store. You know, stupid radio producers to trying their best to get really gross stuff off him and everything else. One of them even asked about his libido and how his sex life was going, because he revealed recently that the medication he's on for his depression actually is lowed his you know, want.
00:19:47
Speaker 2: It's losing a bit of steam.
00:19:48
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I suppose that's what happens when you listerone, isn't it?
00:19:53
Speaker 1: Is that what's happened?
00:19:54
Speaker 5: I guess, well, yeah, I know it's.
00:20:00
Speaker 9: Can't be well, you can do.
00:20:01
Speaker 1: I suppose it's quite sad being a nearly fifty year old.
00:20:05
Speaker 2: Being the spending ry. No kind of prison.
00:20:09
Speaker 5: At some point, you know, you you have to put away childish toys.
00:20:16
Speaker 1: Okay, sometimes you do. He was really really cheeky and a lot of fun through that. He's also making plans to meet up with a Posta Coglo of course, the Aussie who is leading Tottenham. And don't forget He's Netflix documentary that I've been talking about last few days. It's still number one here. It's absolutely massive, and he's going to be performing here next week.
00:20:33
Speaker 2: And let's go, let's go, let's do it. Let's go see Robbie.
00:20:38
Speaker 1: Mate. I had these tickets as soon as they're announced. I am one of I am. This is the one guy that I would potentially.
00:20:44
Speaker 2: Screen for what's your favorite Robbie song?
00:20:46
Speaker 1: Angels? I didn't mind little bus, Yeah here it is, see, Okay, I'd be one of the millions around the world in love with Harry Stars maybe instead of Robbie Williams. Listen up, because he's a full proof solution to dating somebody from one direction? Are you ready? This is what you need to do. You need to manifest and you need a paddle popstick. What So Liam Payne's girlfriend former one fifth of One Direction, right her, the girlfriend Kate Cassidy, has claimed she manifested her One Direction boyfriend, and so she's posted on TikTok a drawing that she did of Liam on a paddle popstick.
00:21:22
Speaker 2: Have a listen.
00:21:22
Speaker 1: I am the best manifesto and I'm going to show you why I drew this when I was ten years old and it's a popsicle stick. I don't know why of Liam and somehow ten years later careful English for Yeah. She opens the door and there's Liam lying on the bed.
00:21:39
Speaker 2: Do you reckon? If TikTok He's going to run as fast as he he's.
00:21:44
Speaker 1: There lying on it. He is like falling into it. And not only that they started dating in October twenty twenty two, but they bought a dog together called Lily. It's a thing.
00:21:53
Speaker 2: Now, who would you be drawing on a paddle popstick gary sweet. It's always gary sweet, pretty much.
00:22:00
Speaker 1: Robbie Petrovsky, Yeah, I don't know if there's a stick tall enough. Tom Petrowski seems tall.
00:22:06
Speaker 2: And very beaded. Yeah.
00:22:09
Speaker 1: Actually I need to go and eat pedal pops down or to get the sticks.
00:22:11
Speaker 3: I've got a few. Shall we open the book a record?
00:22:14
Speaker 2: Yes, do it.
00:22:16
Speaker 1: This is the record book that you want to be in.
00:22:19
Speaker 2: That is a new Records.
00:22:22
Speaker 14: We converted a whole room in the house and created a.
00:22:26
Speaker 8: Dance studio within our home.
00:22:27
Speaker 1: My embarrassing parents.
00:22:30
Speaker 17: Brother was seeing a girl asked mum if she could have a shower.
00:22:33
Speaker 18: My mum turned around and said night, she can't come in the house.
00:22:35
Speaker 13: I'll check her outside.
00:22:36
Speaker 6: Or hoe rap.
00:22:39
Speaker 2: Injury.
00:22:40
Speaker 11: I was hit in the head with a pick by an elephant. This is the Earlie Clark Breakfast Shows Book of Record.
00:22:47
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:22:47
Speaker 1: We love opening this because, let's face it, this is the one you want to be and don't worry about guinness or anything like that. And since Max has just spent a dreamy four day celebrating good mate its wedding, Yeah, we've taken some inspiration from it, right.
00:23:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, So let me lift the lid for everyone listening at home.
00:23:05
Speaker 4: I went to this wedding and like when we have a big event in any of our lives, we come in on the Monday and we talk about it and everyone goes, great, that sounds awesome. Was there anything that maybe didn't go to plan which would be entertaining for the people at home or what was the controversial moment? And I came back from this wedding of Tom and Katie, beautiful couple. It was a bit.
00:23:25
Speaker 2: It was by Kingston State.
00:23:26
Speaker 1: It's essentially it was disastrously perfect for radio.
00:23:30
Speaker 4: Flowers were perfect, there was cheese, toasties at like eleven o'clock at night, every down.
00:23:35
Speaker 2: To the snacks.
00:23:35
Speaker 1: But where's the perfect? Where's the fun in that?
00:23:38
Speaker 2: That's what we all said yesterday And then I was.
00:23:41
Speaker 1: Talking about this wedding I went to in Brazil, which was absolutely amazing. It was great. It was Rett Biglin's, you know next footy players. We went over there for a wedding and the bride was one hour and twenty seven minutes late. No so much so that we left the church and went next door to the bar. And guess what happened. Because he's the real disaster. The moment we ordered our drinks, she arrived, and then and then, if you want to make this, so she'd organized these in beautiful bridesmaid dresses and they were being held up at customs, and the customs guys got paid a bribe, and so she had to get last minute bridesmaid dresses. Then the house where she yeah, then the house where she was having the reception two days before. They said everybody around them had complained too much because it was an airbnb, so they had to find a new reception the night before. And then as the amazing gorgeous bridesmaids were walking down the arm they were taking selfies.
00:24:40
Speaker 2: They had their phones in their pockets.
00:24:42
Speaker 1: There was no pockets. They were in their hands and they were taking selfies. A massive shout out to you biggles. We know how I mean. It doesn't matter because they had the best day and so did we. It was awesome. But that's what we like. Those are the stories were after it.
00:24:57
Speaker 2: I want some wedding disasters Asia from Mores and Lakes.
00:25:01
Speaker 1: Very quickly on the line, all right at the stagia, was this yours or somebody else's?
00:25:05
Speaker 18: No, this was my wedding It was just disaster from beginning to end. We had an outdoor ceremony. It was forty to degrees weather. My mum fainted. Everyone was just hot sweating, My makeup was ruined, there was a mess whatever. Anyway, we got to Deception Center and.
00:25:24
Speaker 15: I was just distraught.
00:25:26
Speaker 6: So the guy was like.
00:25:27
Speaker 18: Really nice, just come in, we'll enjoy your wedding in here or whatever. He hadn't told me that there was blackouts all day and things like that, so he just kept going.
00:25:36
Speaker 13: As soon as we sat down, another.
00:25:37
Speaker 18: Blackout happened, so we had no music, we had nothing, and by the end of the day we ate. We all went home up all distraught, and then we all woke up with food poisoning because the fridges weren't working, so all of our food went off and everyone was sick.
00:25:50
Speaker 1: Oh you know what, I don't reckon we take any more calls. Have you ever tried to do a renewal of your vows or something like that up?
00:26:03
Speaker 18: No, that was just once off and that was it.
00:26:06
Speaker 1: And are you still happily married?
00:26:09
Speaker 18: No, we got divorced and now I'm single and happy.
00:26:13
Speaker 4: Yeah, I think you were getting started on the wrong foot down the stagea that wedding might have been doomed.
00:26:18
Speaker 1: Thank you at a stage, Thank you so much as doing iglish.
00:26:22
Speaker 5: Have opened our book of records this morning. All we need from you is your wedding disaster stories.
00:26:28
Speaker 1: And so why not go to Ronella now, le's come on hit us with it. We're looking for Adelaide's biggest wedding disaster? Is it yours?
00:26:36
Speaker 19: Oh I'm sure it is. Good morning, Happy Wednesday to you all.
00:26:41
Speaker 13: Thanks. Okay, we're going back.
00:26:43
Speaker 19: Quite a few years now. The wedding was in January, the hottest day of the year. It was forty two in the show it's not hotter. So have you woke up? He wasn't feeling well at all.
00:26:54
Speaker 14: He was out to it.
00:26:56
Speaker 19: The doctor came gave him an injection to boost him up, to make him feel better. Okay, So we got to the church. He was struggling. He was really struggling because the flu really got him. So the wedding went. We went to the reception and.
00:27:10
Speaker 14: He was out to it.
00:27:11
Speaker 19: So his Auntie's blessed cotton socks set him down, found him, called him down. Decision was made, let's take the photos now, So we stood up took the photos. Half the guest hadn't even arrived, took the photos. We looked around. It was set up beautifully.
00:27:27
Speaker 8: That was it.
00:27:28
Speaker 19: He was out to it, and.
00:27:30
Speaker 8: That was it.
00:27:30
Speaker 19: The decision. We said hi bye to everybody and went home. So he missed out. Yeah, reception no, And I'm thinking, I'm thinking now what a silly girl. I should have sent him home in the taxi.
00:27:45
Speaker 1: I should have stayed the night. God, thank you Dave from Sky. All right, this is a friend's wedding. What happened?
00:27:54
Speaker 16: Oh? Look, to start with, we were told spending air, being told how good they were for not being intimate before the wedding. Then the beer was dead flat.
00:28:06
Speaker 1: That's it, that's it, and then the hand was graining.
00:28:11
Speaker 16: You couldn't made it the potato salad. I don't think you've been tooked. But the most fascinating part is that wedding venue is now a funeral parlor.
00:28:20
Speaker 5: We've opened up for you, the Ali Clark a book of records. This morning to question asking you is tell us.
00:28:25
Speaker 3: About your wedding disaster story.
00:28:27
Speaker 1: Oh yes, And the calls keep coming through stiff from Manningham. What happened to you?
00:28:33
Speaker 17: I'm not sure many people can say they've experienced the circle of life on their wedding day or any other day of the year. But my grandfather passed away early in the morning on my wedding day. My cousin gave birth around lunchtime, and we got married in the afternoon.
00:28:51
Speaker 9: What a day.
00:28:53
Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, stiff, did you get to spend something, some special time with granddad before he did pass Given that.
00:28:58
Speaker 17: It was, I wish I could say yes. I went and saw him the night before and I put all our our wedding detailing on hold to make the disk sh up.
00:29:09
Speaker 18: To the hospital to see him.
00:29:11
Speaker 17: Yeah, And I think I gave him permission, you know, I just knew how he had been in the last few years, and I pretty much said to him, if he couldn't hold on anymore, I would understand, But if he was holding on to see me in my wedding dress, that we would be up there to see him after the ceremony. And yeah, I got a phone.
00:29:32
Speaker 1: Call, oh, darling, very early in the morning. Oh, step So you had that in the morning, and then the beautiful joy of a baby. And you know what, some brides really don't want anything to overshadow their wedding.
00:29:44
Speaker 17: Yeah, yeah, I'm you know, I'm not. At one point, my partner looked at me and I just said to him, we can't not like, yeah, you know, we're here in Adelaide and everyone we knew, like all our family had all flown in for it, And I said to him, we can't not like everyone's here.
00:30:00
Speaker 2: You have a good It was.
00:30:01
Speaker 6: It was.
00:30:02
Speaker 17: It was very bit of sweet. It was wonderful.
00:30:05
Speaker 11: It was.
00:30:06
Speaker 13: It was.
00:30:06
Speaker 17: It really was the joining of two family.
00:30:08
Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you very much. Now, Bobby, what happened with your wedding disaster?
00:30:14
Speaker 14: Oh my god, let me see. Let's start with the cake top just it shattered on me. It was a crystal heart cake top and in the middle it had two swans hangings.
00:30:28
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:30:29
Speaker 14: Well I went to take it out of the box and it just split right down the middle where the seam was, so I had no cake topper.
00:30:35
Speaker 2: Oh everything else?
00:30:41
Speaker 16: Huh?
00:30:41
Speaker 2: Anything else got wrong?
00:30:43
Speaker 14: Oh yeah? Let me see. My daughter ended up with the black eye because she was a flower girl, and my uncle, who was filming, flung the camera and she came around the corner and popped her in the eye. You know, my grandmother's gotten by one real religious the one who loves their spirits. Well, the spirit's one. And to say the least, my made of batter when I wasn't paying attention, looked at everybody and said I'm going home, and went home.
00:31:15
Speaker 1: Oh, there is no way I am ever leaving a wedding with two grannies fighting in the background.
00:31:22
Speaker 2: I would have been there.
00:31:23
Speaker 14: Yeah, they went at it in my mom's kitchen.
00:31:27
Speaker 17: I was just so embarrassed.
00:31:29
Speaker 14: I was like, Oh my god, somebody take her wine bottle away, and somebody takes the Bible before she wears it.
00:31:39
Speaker 1: Thank goodness, we have the next guest to give us a love will and a good morning.
00:31:44
Speaker 16: Yeah.
00:31:44
Speaker 11: Now the audience is all fired up in the morning.
00:31:52
Speaker 2: TV completely.
00:31:57
Speaker 11: The right.
00:31:57
Speaker 1: Normally we're coming to you with a Tyler Swift, so so you know, at least we're mixing it up for you.
00:32:02
Speaker 11: I know, well, I guess you are mixing it up and Taylor Swift. Of course, you know you've got to hear where you can find her, because I mean, of course, she's the biggest selling artist in the entire world, and she's a billionaire in her own right, and she has a celebrity relationship that we all hope at some stage will either turn into a long term relationship or another banger of a song like this is the thing you can rely on from Taylor, Like every time she's with someone, you're happy. Either way, it's a win win situation because it's like Adele getting a new relationship. You're like, well, either this works out for Adele and we're all happy for Adele, or it works out for the rest of us in a banger new album called twenty eight or something. Right, well, I think this is a win win. But Taylor Swift is the greatest market of re all time.
00:32:44
Speaker 6: She is.
00:32:45
Speaker 11: I mean these lines that like I mean the lines that are so much bigger. I know that you went down and visited some lines that were happening around Adelaide and talked to fans be down there like they were AFL Grand Final tickets for a team that hadn't played in the Grand Final for fifty years. They're sleeping overnight and there.
00:33:02
Speaker 1: Seventeen hours, Sonya, We've got to her. She was first in queue down at the queue down at the end set will and this is just on the re release tickets, and she was there seventeen and a half hours. She got there two pm the day prior. She ran out of places to do a wee by midnight, and yeah, she was just there trying desperately to get tickets for her and her friends.
00:33:20
Speaker 11: This is how hardcore Taylor Swift fans are because they are that hardcore and they're the people who missed out on the first forty thousand tickets, So I imagine how so that's that's how low the hardcore goes. And there where people lined up, you know, in places where you're like, hang on. This line is as big as the original ticket allocation. There is no way if you're at you are the most hopeful people in the world if you're sitting at the back of this line thinking that you're going to get tickets. But this is incredible marketing by Taylor Swift because of course, this is not just about selling these last few tickets with some obscured views. This is literally about the idea that you were seeing on the news every day, how successful Taylor Swift is and how popular Taylor Swift is. And at the moment, Taylor Swift has a new album nineteen eighty nine, Taylor's Version, that is out in the market that you can buy, and Taylor Swift has a concert film that you can actually go and watch this era's concert in full at your local cinema for three and a half hours. And so everything of these lines, even if they don't sell the tickets to the show, they sell the ticket to the movies, or they sell another copy of her album. She is an absolute genius.
00:34:25
Speaker 13: She is.
00:34:26
Speaker 1: And we adure that you're going to be well looking at all of this on question everything, But are you ready for the Swifted to come at you if you make any sort of jokes about our t Swift?
00:34:36
Speaker 11: I think we avoided all danger areas. That's fun in a night where we reference like her Mas and what's happened in the Gaza strip. It is weird that we're still very worried about the fact that the Swiftiest will.
00:34:47
Speaker 2: Come after.
00:34:49
Speaker 11: The Army is that you need to send in to sort out that troubleovers.
00:34:55
Speaker 1: Do I dare guess that you're perhaps referencing her mask because of what k March did in the last ham Mass.
00:35:02
Speaker 11: We're talking about Merry ham Mass, which is absolutely fine. It's Christmas. It's a bag. It's a handbag, as they say, a bag for your ham to keep it in a Christmas And here's the thing from a marketing and advertising angle. I know this is not groo and we're plugging, but this is what I love is when a company does something like this, what they would do firstly is they say, are we going to offend any of the people who would buy our Christmas ham? And they've probably not considered the Jewish community at all, right because Christmas and Ham not two things that are on their radar. Not one Jewish person's going out for a Christmas Ham, so they probably haven't had anyone come in and, you know, check it off. Everyone's like, how did they miss it? And I'm like, well, I don't know. Maybe there's not like a heap of Jewish people working at the ham company.
00:35:46
Speaker 2: I don't know.
00:35:50
Speaker 11: Anyway, it says ham dash mass. Somebody's missed it. It's gone through plenty of eyes and people have complained because it looks too much like a mass.
00:35:57
Speaker 1: Well look, we cannot wait. I know that we're love you on Groom, but yes we are absolutely pushing question everything. It's on tonight at eight thirty. We can catch up with it anytime on ABC IVUW Will Addison We love catching up with you every week. Thank you very very much, and get back to playing some amazing music.
00:36:12
Speaker 11: My pleasure.
00:36:16
Speaker 1: The Ali Khind.
00:36:16
Speaker 4: Breakfast shows Top twenty lies told on a First Date.
00:36:22
Speaker 1: Well, as soon as we found out our next guest was called the human lie Detector. We had to get him on because we are counting down the top twenty lines told on first date, so here to help us spot them. Please welcome Steve van Aparin.
00:36:32
Speaker 2: Good morning, Good morning.
00:36:34
Speaker 6: How are you.
00:36:35
Speaker 1: I'm going okay? Can you tell us how to spotlight? It's pretty pretty pretty?
00:36:38
Speaker 2: Please?
00:36:38
Speaker 1: And where were you all during our dating lives?
00:36:42
Speaker 16: Yeah.
00:36:43
Speaker 6: Look, typically people often won't lie to you. They'll edit the information they supply you with, so they'll be evasive, omissive, dismissive, sidestep the issue, they'll answer the question with another question. But what you need to look for is not only are they answering the question, but look for conflict totradiction between what they're saying and what they're doing. So often you'll see a lot of what call hand to face masking or conceal my gesture. So if say, for example, you meet someone on a dating site and the first time you go out and you'll say. You'll ask question, mouke, are you seeing anyone else at the moment, and they'll say things like, am I seeing anyone else? Why would have we seeing anyone else? They're not answering the question. Pay attention to what they say and how they say it, because if I asked you what you did say yesterday, you would be relying on memory to recall historical events. Now, if you're making them up. For every one lie you tell, you have to invent two or three to protect yourself from the first one, so they'll contradict themselves.
00:37:40
Speaker 1: Steve, I've just listened to all of that and ticked off a thousand things and said, yeah, of course that makes sense. Do you think we're just more susceptible to people telling lies if we go into a dating sense because we want the best, we want something good for ourselves.
00:37:54
Speaker 6: Yeah, look, I agree. Typically we want to believe that people are telling us the truth. And also you have to understand why people lie in dating. They lie to impress, they lie to attract a potential partner. We call all sorts of lies. I mean, everyone lies, And I guess the big issue is is we have to look at why they are lying.
00:38:17
Speaker 1: So Steve, tell me, have your family ever tried to even bother lying you?
00:38:22
Speaker 13: Do?
00:38:22
Speaker 11: You?
00:38:23
Speaker 1: God?
00:38:24
Speaker 6: You know what. In the early days, every time I would hear something that I thought that doesn't sound right, I would challenge them. But I've learned with age and wisdom that sometimes, you know, the last thing you want to have is a situation we're calling everyone out because we all lie. If I did that, I would have an absolutely no friends left. So if I'm interviewing you for a homicide or peel away every single layer, and you know what, I don't care how well prepared you are, you cannot possibly pre anticipate every question that I'm likely to ask you.
00:38:55
Speaker 1: I don't know. I feel like we need to hang up.
00:38:59
Speaker 2: It's really good.
00:39:00
Speaker 1: I feel like something else going on.
00:39:03
Speaker 2: They do it a lot.
00:39:04
Speaker 6: Oh yeah. Look if my wife goes out and buys something and it's the worst thing I've ever said seeing and she says, you know, do I look good in this? Of course it does. So you know, this is the difference between men and women. See, if a woman says to a man, there's nothing wrong, it's fine. Men accept that as literal, so it's fine. What we don't pay attention to is the clenched fist, the tension in the drawer. Fine, but when like when my partner says, you know, we're driving, are you hungry? That's not a question, that's a direction. Or if she says, you know, the men often need to be instructed. So when you say to us the rubbish rubbish spin is full, we say, we know what that's code for, is the rubbishman needs to be taken out. There's a big difference between how men and women process language.
00:40:00
Speaker 1: I mean, just take the rubbish out.
00:40:01
Speaker 2: Boys. That's it, simple as that.
00:40:05
Speaker 1: Steve and Efer and thank you very very much. You have a very interesting job and really appreciate your chat this morning.
00:40:12
Speaker 6: My pleas take it now.
00:40:14
Speaker 3: Ali and maxink they're experts.
00:40:16
Speaker 5: Just after hearing from human lie detector, just before you think you can pick a lie, someone told it to you.
00:40:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, he said, well that they You know, people often elaborate, but if you really put them under the pump with questions that they all fall over the trip over.
00:40:27
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:40:27
Speaker 1: Okay, so we're putting in the test here.
00:40:29
Speaker 5: We have three people in this studio, whore going to share a story about their first kiss. Now, all you need to do is tell us who's telling the truth and who's lying.
00:40:37
Speaker 1: First, one is lying, she's moving around too much.
00:40:42
Speaker 3: Up first, alight, away, you go with your story about.
00:40:44
Speaker 1: Your first This is what I do all the time. I'm going to set the scene, guys, your seven.
00:40:51
Speaker 9: Probably twelve year old bella primary school in the playground at the back after school, had a nice little peck with my crush, twelve year old crush. His name was Zak, going to be completely honest there, and we had a nice little peck unto the blue skies.
00:41:08
Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going to call her out completely because she said I'm going with Zach. I'm going to be completely honest there. So I'm thinking that's not the rest of the store was a lie. I've gone that is very true. Zach was my first crush, so that beats the first crush. Okay, all right, but you picked up on that definitely.
00:41:26
Speaker 2: When someone says, I'm.
00:41:29
Speaker 3: Alright from your first kiss story, Talia.
00:41:33
Speaker 1: Now she's sitting down though, with her legs crossed as well as her arms.
00:41:35
Speaker 2: I'm just so very offended.
00:41:41
Speaker 20: It's kind of embarrassing. Year ten beach party vodka cruzes literally laying on the sand, staring up at the night sky, and he says to me, do you know any constellations? And I said no, and he kissed me anyway, and it was a little bit gross.
00:42:00
Speaker 1: To the truth of the cruise is yes, But I don't think you would have waited till you're ten. Looking at you, he said, year ten.
00:42:11
Speaker 20: Right, I think you ten?
00:42:13
Speaker 1: Now you were passion before that.
00:42:14
Speaker 2: I reckon, when was When were you passion? Hey? When were you?
00:42:18
Speaker 10: Well?
00:42:18
Speaker 1: I played truth there and double there in year six.
00:42:21
Speaker 2: That's a lie. It was earlier.
00:42:27
Speaker 3: And our last story from Amber in Croydon Park this morning. Tell us about your first kiss. Please, Amber, Look.
00:42:32
Speaker 21: It's a while ago.
00:42:32
Speaker 8: I can't completely remember.
00:42:35
Speaker 9: Truth.
00:42:38
Speaker 21: I'm thinking it was about year four in the school yard. His name was Jamie, and I think we had an audience. I think we became boyfriend and girlfriend and maybe decided we.
00:42:48
Speaker 1: Need to kiss to seal the deal. Okay, hey, okay, three stories there.
00:42:53
Speaker 3: Who's telling you the truth and who's lying?
00:42:55
Speaker 2: Ice?
00:42:55
Speaker 4: So one truth too lies? All right, you go first, Amber, stell the truth, I think, and I reckon that.
00:43:06
Speaker 2: Tarlie's story was very good.
00:43:07
Speaker 1: No, I'm going with you I think Amber was telling the truth. You other two are live lie pants on fire?
00:43:13
Speaker 2: Wait is there any one telling the truth.
00:43:15
Speaker 1: Hey, there's two lives.
00:43:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, we can't have the same answer.
00:43:20
Speaker 1: Well okay, well then i'll go.
00:43:23
Speaker 2: You're you're already called out Bella, Bella.
00:43:25
Speaker 1: Then I'll call bell I'll.
00:43:28
Speaker 3: Are we ready?
00:43:29
Speaker 2: Are we ready? Will be real liar?
00:43:31
Speaker 5: Step up to the real truth person to step up in the microphone place.
00:43:37
Speaker 1: Amber peopulled me out of that, if that's fair, Max, because I want with Amber two sorry mates. Meantime, we also have to have a chance to talk to Tarlie about waiting till year ten? Were you like? I mean, that's good, Lead Bloomer. Can we have a play of this please? That's yeah. I might need a bit of help in working out if it was in fact me who was the twink yesterday, because I'm quite happy to go early that I'm not the twnk. But then in hindsight, as I do spend a bit of time ruminating and thinking about it, I'm just going maybe it was me.
00:44:34
Speaker 2: All that independent analysis that's.
00:44:37
Speaker 1: I do. Now, you guys know that I love going walking in different parts of our fair city. I love seeing where people live, and it's just the thing I do. And yesterday Beulah Park was the Lucky Suburb awesome, So I just went in there. If you want me to come to your suburb, just sing out and get to me on Instage.
00:44:53
Speaker 5: I know the trunk already founder anyway.
00:45:00
Speaker 1: So I am just like a lot of people. I don't know. Lots of people when they drop their kids off for activities, they'll sit there and watch them. But I like to go for a walk, so that's what I do. I was a Buili park yesterday. One child was trying to sing, so that was good. So if I go walking, and I'm a pretty quick walker, like I like to stop and smell the roses and take the phoneo for instant but I'm a pretty quick walker. I'm there to exercise and that's my and that is my thing. So yesterday I was walking and I was coming up behind a schoolgirl that had ear pods in And I'm always really particular about doing that because I know how much of a scare it can be if people have got music cranking there is and all of a sudden you've got giant.
00:45:38
Speaker 2: Giraffe coming behind you.
00:45:41
Speaker 1: So I was kind of coming up to an intersection. Now the intersection was off a dog leg and everything else, and she was just about to cross, and I came up next to her. I thought, well, you know, she's pausing whatever, and then we stepped out onto the intersection. Now I could hear a car coming at high speed behind us. Now that car belonged to somebody, well who would drive a large, expensive black four wheel drive. The only time it would go off road would be when it actually went downstairs into the burnside car park build a park. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. Well anyway, anyway, so this car has come out, and I knew there was a car there, but this girl was stepping out anyway. So I stepped out on the car side of it because I figured, look, you know the school kids around, surely this car is going to be slowing down and everything else. And so I had a quick, like just tiny glance on my shoulder and we stepped out. That made the car stop because it clearly wanted to turn left across the road that we had just crossed. We have walked, it has passed us, and then it's.
00:46:45
Speaker 2: Beat little tea.
00:46:48
Speaker 1: It's given us. How dare you people just go about your walking ways and has given us a beep once it's got past us.
00:46:56
Speaker 4: Now you're in the burbs here, so I'm predicting this is quite a quiet one, lady.
00:47:01
Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, you can't speed through there, you just can't. But I have just rounded on this person, which much to the surprise of the school girl I was walking with, and given them a hey two to the valley. Well, I was just so.
00:47:15
Speaker 2: Angry it gave them a little salute.
00:47:17
Speaker 1: Well, I just didn't think it was necessary.
00:47:19
Speaker 2: What did they stop for anything?
00:47:20
Speaker 1: That was it? Well, I don't think the person driving could have seen me through the massive dark glasses she had.
00:47:27
Speaker 2: Okay, So in that.
00:47:29
Speaker 1: Instance, was I the twunk, because yes, absolutely a pedestrian should stop and wait and look both ways and see the car and give the car you know? Or was she the twunk? Because I actually stepped out with this girl because I was also worried she's going to get hit and then she's beat.
00:47:46
Speaker 4: After the fact, my first response is I am glad that this wasn't a Am I the twunk?
00:47:53
Speaker 2: Or is the twelve year old school girla twin? Because I thought that's where it was going now.
00:47:57
Speaker 1: Well, also, to be fair, if you've got your earphones in, make sure you look around for traffic. That's that's the mummy.
00:48:01
Speaker 4: My second response to this is, was it a like crossing or anything.
00:48:06
Speaker 2: You probably should have given way to a car.
00:48:08
Speaker 1: Well, yeah, but in the book it says pedestrians have right away, just.
00:48:11
Speaker 2: Saying well, crossing every road?
00:48:13
Speaker 1: Ye, book, is this like the driving book across.
00:48:18
Speaker 2: Every road pedestrians have right of way?
00:48:20
Speaker 1: They go and read it pedestrians have right away? Anyway?
00:48:23
Speaker 3: What are you saying make he's a tonky.
00:48:25
Speaker 4: I'm saying that I don't think pedestrians have right away. I'm saying I agree with the two fingers salute, but it sounds like you're in the wrong.
00:48:34
Speaker 3: That means Ali is the.
00:48:40
Speaker 2: Opinion chain.
00:48:42
Speaker 3: I think Ali's talking.
00:48:44
Speaker 1: Anyone that does a post incident beep is the idiot.
00:48:47
Speaker 13: No.
00:48:47
Speaker 4: I think that they're reminding you of your dwunkness.
00:48:51
Speaker 2: Is you're a bit of a twonker in this scenario, and you know.
00:48:54
Speaker 1: The tragedy of this. I have to carry this bird now by myself, because that schoolgirl wouldn't have heard any of that happened.
00:49:03
Speaker 5: This morning, we opened up our book of records. The question we asked you, was tell us about the most disastrous wedding you've ever had or maybe attended.
00:49:09
Speaker 1: It was pretty good. This was all because Max has just spent four days being at a wedding that everything went swimmingly. It was too good for radio, unfortunately, it was so we well threw it open to you and boy, oh boy, haven't you delivered?
00:49:24
Speaker 18: This was my wedding. It was just disaster from beginning to end.
00:49:28
Speaker 13: Forty to degrees weather, my.
00:49:30
Speaker 18: Mum painted, everyone was a hot, sweating, My makeup was ruined.
00:49:35
Speaker 14: I was just a straw.
00:49:36
Speaker 18: So the guy was like, really nice, just come in, we'll enjoy your wedding in here. He hadn't told me that there was black house all day and things like that, so we had no music, We had nothing.
00:49:46
Speaker 3: This is a disaster.
00:49:47
Speaker 18: By the end of the day, we all went home up all distraught, and then we all woke up with fruit poisoning because the fridges weren't working, so all of our food went off and everyone was sick.
00:49:56
Speaker 17: My grandfather passed away early in the morning on my wedding. Games my cousin gave birth around lunchtime and we got married in the afternoon. What a day, very bittersweet.
00:50:09
Speaker 19: The wedding was in January, the hottest Dorsey a year. Howe you woke up? He wasn't feeling well with those.
00:50:14
Speaker 16: Got to go on without command, just leave the water.
00:50:17
Speaker 19: The doctor gave him an injection to boost him up, to make him feel better. So we got to the church.
00:50:22
Speaker 10: He was struggled.
00:50:23
Speaker 19: We went to the reception and he was out to it. Half the guests had leaven arrived. We stood up, took the photos and that was it. We said hi bye to everybody and went home.
00:50:35
Speaker 16: We were told spinning air, being told how good they were for not being intimate before the wedding time. Then the beer was good, flat, how at Australian fat that's it? Then was grain you couldn't notice as it was tight of salad. I don't think you've been tooked. But the most fascinating part is that wedding venue is now a general parlight.
00:50:57
Speaker 5: Yes they're the wedding disaster stories, but they can to be one winner and one book of records.
00:51:02
Speaker 1: Yep, and it's better than all those ones. This is so exciting. Forget the Guinness Book of Whatever's This is the only book you ever want to be included in because Max had had such a beautiful four days, rubbing it in our faces that he was at a gorgeous wedding where everything went beautifully. Shout out, Tom Katie. You guys are amazed. We just wanted to open the book of records and find the weird, wacky and disastrous weatings.
00:51:29
Speaker 2: What do you mean.
00:51:31
Speaker 1: Now? There can be only one win, and today it's Bobby.
00:51:38
Speaker 14: Got the cake top. It shattered on me. My daughter ended up with the black eye because my uncle, who was filming, flung the camera. She came around the corner and popped her in the eye. You know, my grandmother has got by one real religious the one who loves their spirits, well the spirits one say the least. My maide of baughter what I wasn't paying attention, looked at everybody and said, I'm going home and went home.
00:52:06
Speaker 1: Oh my god, Gratias, Bobby, thank you?
00:52:16
Speaker 14: Have you ever had that is one I can say I've never had put in the book, but now it's there because you know what it's going in the book.
00:52:23
Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, Bobby Houst. And does your wedding get brought up in conversation all of this, all these not mes and disasters.
00:52:30
Speaker 2: Do you still talk about it?
00:52:32
Speaker 14: No, not really, to say the least. I desorced the winker. My one grandma, the spirit she passed twenty five years ago. My other grandma she passed two years ago. I can say when the friends do hang out, we get a little drink, and weddings do come up.
00:52:49
Speaker 1: Yeah, we bring it up. Oh good, hy Bobby. Also, one thing that we probably should have clarified. You said that one grandmother really believed, you know, was very religious, and the other one believed in spirits? Was that birl like of the of natural kind or of the drinking.
00:53:04
Speaker 14: Card with the wine bottle kind?
00:53:09
Speaker 1: Hey, Bobby, whatever happens. Congratulations, you take this. You tell everybody that you are now in the Alley Clive Breakfast Show Book of records. And please you be a part of our show whenever you can.
00:53:19
Speaker 14: Okay, I will do, And thank you all very much.
00:53:22
Speaker 6: It's a high honor.
00:53:27
Speaker 2: That's fantastic.
00:53:28
Speaker 1: All right, all right, guys, let's get out of here.
00:53:34
Speaker 11: Schelle.
00:53:34
Speaker 1: We will leave it over to Michelle Murphy and everything that she has to offer, including going to noboo.
00:53:39
Speaker 3: Oh yeah no.
00:53:40
Speaker 5: But Universal Studios a thousand dollars spending money Christmas with the.
00:53:42
Speaker 3: Stars, Olivia Rodrigo.
00:53:45
Speaker 1: I know everybody says, oh, we should be talking about the iHeartRadio party and stuff, but it really is noble for us.
00:53:52
Speaker 2: Either of us can believe that shanees Ben and we have it. You'll get there one day.
00:53:55
Speaker 1: Guys, you stayed for twenty minutes. You don't even like the fish. Why want you to go to a sushi res.
00:54:01
Speaker 2: I was still there, ate the bread and left.
00:54:05
Speaker 1: Enjoy the rest of your day. WILL meet you back here right after six tomorrow
00:07:49
Speaker 2: Oh my god.
00:07:53
Speaker 1: Finally he's got a festival.
00:07:57
Speaker 2: We can get biggest, biggest weekends. It just gets better and better.
00:08:01
Speaker 1: You don't you honestly don't go outside for cheese.
00:08:04
Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I go and Gus Kelly would know.
00:08:06
Speaker 5: You need to get there early because sometimes they do run out of crackets.
00:08:08

00:50:57
