ABOUT THIS EPISODE
The NL Central is entering crunch time, and the Cubs and Brewers are about to go head-to-head in a stretch of games that could decide the division.
This week on the Batting Practice Podcast, Andrew and Jacob break down the Brewers’ lead over Chicago, whether the Cubs can still make a run at the division, and why a Cubs-Brewers postseason matchup is starting to feel inevitable.
Then, we dive into one of the biggest debates in baseball: Pete Crow-Armstrong vs. Shohei Ohtani for NL MVP. PCA has the defense, the production, and the momentum — but is it enough to knock off the biggest star in baseball? And would missing the playoffs kill PCA’s MVP case?
Plus:
⚾ How many games Milwaukee needs to take from Chicago
⚾ Why the rest of the NL Central has helped the Brewers
