ABOUT THIS EPISODE
On this episode of Baseball Recruiting Confidential, host Justin Musil is joined by University of Delaware head coach Greg Mamula. A veteran of more than 25 years in college baseball, Mamula returned to Delaware in 2022 after seven seasons as associate head coach at Florida Atlantic, and previously built one of the top offenses in Division II at West Chester, guiding that program to the 2009 NCAA Division II World Series. Known as one of the game's top hitting coaches, he's developed MLB All-Stars Ian Happ and Joey Wendle, along with several other big-league hitters. Justin and Coach Mamula dig into what he looks for when evaluating recruits, how his hitting philosophy shapes his approach to building a lineup, and what young players and their families should know about standing out to a Division I program like his.
