ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Electro House BackSpin Vol. 9 revisits the festival-sized, crossover dance hits that dominated 2011–2012. This installment collects the era’s biggest club-to-radio moments—where David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia pushed big-room hooks into the mainstream and pop stars leaned into four-on-the-floor extravagance. Highlights include Rihanna’s festival-ready pairings with David Guetta and Calvin Harris, Katy Perry and Ke$ha’s remix-fueled pop anthems, and Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” in club-ready form. You’ll also hear J.Lo’s stadium pop, Pitbull’s summer-smash energy, and indie-to-EDM crossovers like Fun.’s Alvin Risk remix. Standout mixes from Cosmic Dawn, Dave Audé, Jody den Broeder, Liam Keegan, and Alvin Risk give familiar songs fresh peak-hour heft. At just under two and a half hours, Vol. 9 is designed for nostalgia and peak-time sets alike—party-ready remixes and anthem edits that defined the millennial EDM moment.
