ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Kelsey Britt is a writer, sexuality educator, and trauma-informed yoga instructor whose work brings poetry, storytelling, mindfulness, and the body into conversation with one another. Her poems and short fiction have appeared in Gulf Coast, Anodyne Magazine, Wild Roof Journal, Variant Literature, and elsewhere.
In this episode, we talk about finding a writing voice, what poetry can access that other forms sometimes can’t, and how Kelsey’s work with yoga and embodiment has shaped both her creative practice and the questions she brings to the page. We also get into curiosity, vulnerability, first drafts, and the difficult work of learning how to say what you actually mean.
