00:00:03.887 --> 00:00:19.192
hello everybody and welcome to rc arts's podcast with myself adele clevain and joining us back live on the podcast by popular demand we've got the lovely fiona back hello fiona hi everyone Lovely to be back as well, yeah.
00:00:19.210 --> 00:00:20.754
Yeah, how are you doing?
00:00:21.373 --> 00:00:22.274
Yes, doing great.
00:00:22.495 --> 00:00:25.257
Doing absolutely brilliant, yeah.
00:00:25.277 --> 00:00:35.207
I'm sure lots of people got to hear the last podcast, but for those that didn't, just give us a little reminder about some of the things that we mentioned, you know, obviously a little bit about yourself for those that haven't heard you before.
00:00:35.999 --> 00:00:41.280
Yeah, the podcast that we done actually was Grief to Growth.
00:00:41.881 --> 00:00:42.822
That was the title of it.
00:00:42.841 --> 00:00:43.881
It was actually amazing.
00:00:44.100 --> 00:00:47.963
And an awful lot of people got fantastic feedback from it, you know.
00:00:48.042 --> 00:00:53.984
And it was all about my journey and how I came upon, you know, the spiritual journey and things that had happened in my past.
00:00:54.066 --> 00:00:59.889
And my brother passed away eleven years ago and signs and things like that that I had received.
00:01:00.448 --> 00:01:08.069
And it was just all about, as a reader, you know, that people come in to me and a lot of people come with emotional trauma.
00:01:09.552 --> 00:01:33.212
It's all to do with like past, you know, experiences in life and, you know, and how they can heal from that and things like that, you know, but it's just as a reader, like I'm a medium, so I connect to the spirit world, but I actually, yeah, I'm an intuitive card reader as well, but I'm actually also a healer, which helps in my readings because I can feed into people's soul energy.
00:01:33.233 --> 00:01:34.935
I can feed into their physical energy.
00:01:35.015 --> 00:01:36.596
So I'm an emotional, physical healer.
00:01:36.897 --> 00:01:40.578
So I find that helps me an awful lot in my work, you know.
00:01:42.021 --> 00:01:43.861
But I've had a big journey myself.
00:01:43.882 --> 00:01:46.664
So obviously that's what's got me to where I am today.
00:01:46.724 --> 00:01:48.465
You know, it hasn't been an easy journey.
00:01:49.063 --> 00:01:53.668
But, you know, and a lot of people are in the same position as well.
00:01:53.688 --> 00:02:02.277
Like we don't get to where we are today doing this type of work unless we've been through some kind of trauma or pain and hurt.
00:02:02.757 --> 00:02:03.397
You know what I mean?
00:02:03.438 --> 00:02:05.340
A lot of healing comes with it, you know.
00:02:06.055 --> 00:02:08.996
And, of course, we're all human and we all have a story, don't we?
00:02:09.014 --> 00:02:15.937
We all go through trauma or grief or, you know, from negative to positive to pros to cons.
00:02:15.955 --> 00:02:23.598
We all experience at some point in our life, but it's working out how we work through it and seeing if we've got the support there to get us back on track.
00:02:23.657 --> 00:02:25.877
And for some people they do and some people they don't.
00:02:25.997 --> 00:02:30.500
Some people never deal with what they went through and then it can come up later on in life.
00:02:30.818 --> 00:02:32.280
So, again, it's just...
00:02:32.658 --> 00:02:48.950
Knowing that there's a safe place like Ask the Answer, like people like you, that somebody could come to if they are maybe struggling with coming to terms with something from their past or they're experiencing something now, that they can pick up the phone and feel, like I said, in a safe place where they can open up and see what's going on and some tips on how to maybe move forward.
00:02:49.901 --> 00:02:50.860
Yeah, that's correct.
00:02:51.703 --> 00:02:54.365
Like a lot of people don't even realise sometimes.
00:02:54.383 --> 00:03:14.025
So it's whatever triggers you at this moment on time, for example, can stem from what you experienced as a child, you know, and people actually don't realise, not even as a child, maybe sometimes it can stem back from an inner child, but also even in teenage years, maybe in early adulthood.
00:03:14.544 --> 00:03:18.907
And people, then it affects them in relationships with other people.
00:03:18.989 --> 00:03:21.169
It affects them in relationships with herself.
00:03:21.251 --> 00:03:22.770
It affects them in their work.
00:03:23.353 --> 00:03:30.919
You know, and, you know, people sometimes become, I know I was one of these people that I would have become very independent.
00:03:32.188 --> 00:03:42.233
very much done things myself, didn't trust people, didn't trust myself because of things that had happened previously in my childhood, you know?
00:03:42.592 --> 00:04:08.712
And I didn't realize that until I started this whole spiritual journey, until I started this whole healing progress, why I was so like that in life and why I was bogged down in my work and why I was like a workaholic and, you know, You know, there's an awful lot of people hopefully listening to us will relate to us and understand us because an awful lot of ways we are in life.
00:04:09.313 --> 00:05:20.817
stem from our inner child and from past experiences because we've held an emotional attachment to things that have happened to us and anything that triggers us in life is something we need to heal from and it could be even a small trigger you know if somebody maybe said something the wrong way to somebody you could get defensive over but that's stemming because that emotion that we relate to that moment yeah something that happened previous and it could have been a lot worse previously but you've still got that emotion um attachment you know what i mean so that's how it all works you know it's really really um significant on anybody's journey um i feel anyway personally um to you heal their inner child forgiveness is a big one as well you know so that's really what i wanted to sort of put forward today i've wrote a few notes for myself so keep myself on track but um you know i've had to go through a lot of this myself so i feel going from my own experiences yeah um it will relate to an awful lot of people out there you know And there's lots of people that, you know, that you're going to go into, you know, that forgiveness side of things.
00:05:20.958 --> 00:05:25.002
You know, they will never forget maybe what they've been through, what they've experienced.
00:05:25.023 --> 00:05:29.269
But how do they learn to forgive and to move on so they have that inner peace?
00:05:29.569 --> 00:05:31.572
Yeah, because a lot of people...
00:05:32.437 --> 00:05:33.559
don't believe in forgiveness.
00:05:33.639 --> 00:05:37.680
A lot of people feel, well, how could I forgive that person for doing that to me?
00:05:38.422 --> 00:05:44.925
But it's not about that because if you carry that within you, you manifest that into your own physical form.
00:05:45.605 --> 00:05:48.088
And the body ill at ease becomes disease.
00:05:48.668 --> 00:05:54.233
You know, if you look at any Dolores Cannon teachings or anything like that there, I listened to quite a few of her podcasts.
00:05:54.733 --> 00:06:09.649
It does, and from my own past experience, through trauma, through grief, through things that happened to me in childhood, I ended up taking fibromyalgia, which is a trauma response really to what I'd been through.
00:06:09.709 --> 00:06:16.478
And a lot of people don't realize that they actually take things physically within their own body from things that they've actually been through in life.
00:06:17.278 --> 00:06:50.584
And there is people that will be resilient and they will say no way am i forgiven but you're you're releasing it from your existence that's basically what you're doing when you're actually forgiven you know um because it is a tough one it's not an easy one i've had forgiven an awful lot of people in my lifetime but i didn't want to carry that burden within me because that would manifest itself within my existence you know what i mean and i wouldn't be able to carry forward in my journey if i had carried that trauma and that pain with me mm-hmm Yeah, absolutely.
00:06:50.663 --> 00:06:55.387
I mean, if somebody's listening now, I mean, and they're thinking that, absolutely, I can't forgive.
00:06:56.427 --> 00:06:57.427
How do you do it?
00:06:57.447 --> 00:06:58.427
What tips are there?
00:06:58.548 --> 00:06:59.487
Or is it time?
00:06:59.610 --> 00:07:00.209
How does it work?
00:07:00.757 --> 00:07:01.036
Yeah.
00:07:01.276 --> 00:07:06.218
Well, basically, it's really about dismantling your whole existence.
00:07:06.680 --> 00:07:07.019
Okay.
00:07:07.360 --> 00:07:10.521
So really, you become this person, this version of yourself.
00:07:10.540 --> 00:07:13.262
So whenever you're brought to this earth, you're brought with a sole purpose.
00:07:13.302 --> 00:07:16.144
We talked a wee bit of that in the last podcast.
00:07:16.163 --> 00:07:17.543
You're brought with a sole purpose.
00:07:17.584 --> 00:07:20.204
You have already decided before you come here, believe it or not.
00:07:20.225 --> 00:07:21.665
And I tell a lot of people this all the time.
00:07:21.685 --> 00:07:23.747
And they're like, oh, my God, I didn't decide this.
00:07:23.766 --> 00:07:24.607
But I say you did.
00:07:25.047 --> 00:07:27.548
So you decide what you've come to your guardian angel.
00:07:27.567 --> 00:07:28.949
You've decided what you're going to do.
00:07:29.329 --> 00:07:32.151
So you're here to learn, grow and evolve.
00:07:32.451 --> 00:07:46.800
And if things happen to you and your inner child, whether it be abuse, whether it be trauma, whether it be grief, whether it be anything traumatic like that, you then create a version of yourself.
00:07:47.759 --> 00:07:49.879
that you shield yourself from that.
00:07:49.899 --> 00:07:51.980
So you're creating a version of yourself.
00:07:52.000 --> 00:07:53.360
So you're basically shielding yourself.
00:07:53.379 --> 00:07:55.819
So you're adding a layer to your existence.
00:07:56.221 --> 00:07:58.980
And then something else happens, you do the same.
00:07:59.360 --> 00:08:01.201
Something else happens, you do the same.
00:08:01.461 --> 00:08:14.504
Then you become a version of yourself that is full of all this trauma, full of all this pain, full of all this hurt, full of all this anguish, full of all this not knowing what is really going on.
00:08:14.963 --> 00:08:21.009
And then whenever you go on, like a lot of people go into relationships to find themselves.
00:08:21.470 --> 00:08:22.009
Do you know what I mean?
00:08:22.050 --> 00:08:25.391
They don't even realize they're going into relationships to find themselves.
00:08:25.754 --> 00:09:10.796
You need to be complete within yourself before you actually, because people will find there sometimes that's another topic, but if they go into a relationship and then that relationship breaks down and they kind of devastating effects with that because they're not complete within themselves because they've been looking for something within that person that they've met that doesn't exist within themselves because they haven't healed from it if that makes sense I hope that's coming across okay so If you go back into your inner child, you have to recognize your inner child first and foremost, because ninety five percent of our decisions that we make on a day to day basis stem from our past experiences and things that happen in our inner child.
00:09:10.916 --> 00:09:18.485
OK, so say, for example, I said to somebody like say five years, she said to me, you're going to be on doing a podcast.
00:09:18.565 --> 00:09:23.586
I would have said, no way would I ever, ever see myself doing that.
00:09:24.086 --> 00:09:25.245
Do you know what I mean?
00:09:25.447 --> 00:09:28.629
Being up front to people and talking because I, my soul wasn't ready.
00:09:28.788 --> 00:09:32.649
I wasn't ready for that, but that's how it all works.
00:09:34.029 --> 00:09:46.758
But yeah, That's stemming then from a, that's triggering something from our, when I met, when I make a decision, say, for example, somebody said to me five years ago, you're going to be on doing a podcast, then that's triggering something on me.
00:09:47.018 --> 00:09:54.320
Maybe I was at school and I was up doing a play and I made a mistake and, and somebody told me off for making the mistake and I felt I wasn't good enough.
00:09:54.418 --> 00:09:55.259
Does that make sense?
00:09:56.041 --> 00:09:59.981
And I would have stored that with me as an emotion saying, oh, my God, I can't do this.
00:10:00.081 --> 00:10:00.864
I'm not good enough.
00:10:00.942 --> 00:10:01.942
I'm not worthy enough.
00:10:02.283 --> 00:10:06.865
This is, you know, and then I'm bringing that back to that emotion.
00:10:06.885 --> 00:10:10.528
So I'm attaching an emotion to what I'm feeling at that moment.
00:10:11.048 --> 00:10:13.370
So it's about recognizing your inner child.
00:10:13.409 --> 00:10:16.211
So five percent of the decisions you make on a day to day basis.
00:10:16.653 --> 00:11:52.870
stem from your conscious mind believe it or not so you're doing yes no logical answers so you're just but it's all about healing your ninety five percent it's all it's all about healing your subconscious mind so it's all about healing and come back into your inner child and healing those traumatic emotions that you have attached within your existence and breaking down those layers as i say dismantling who you truly are and it's all about discovering what way you are in life you know like i'm a mum i'm you know a spiritual reader and healer um I'm a very well independent person I do know delegates which I never used to do before because I realized that other people but that was a coming from not trusting myself and not trusting other people to do so because I've been let down in the past so I learned to realize that's what that was about so I've learned to sort of not be as for example there are people with um get anxious about stuff because something has triggered that within something that happened in the past so it's all about recognizing your inner child and communicating with your inner child and that can be done through the forms of like meditation still in your mind you know so it's recognizing your inner child communicating with that inner child and telling that inner child because I've done a lot of this work myself I've done it with other people as well it's very very powerful work but connecting to your inner child and letting that inner child know that they are safe They belong, you know, they are wanted, they are loved.
00:11:53.509 --> 00:11:54.649
It will bring up trauma.
00:11:54.711 --> 00:11:58.312
It will bring up emotions.
00:11:58.392 --> 00:12:03.413
There's no doubt about it, but it's about facing that emotional trauma.
00:12:03.432 --> 00:12:06.815
It's about facing those fears and bringing that through.
00:12:08.375 --> 00:12:10.897
You know, then dealing with it at that time.
00:12:10.937 --> 00:12:14.678
Now, it's not an overnight fix, obviously, because it takes work and it takes time.
00:12:15.200 --> 00:12:16.821
And I've been on this journey quite a way.
00:12:16.961 --> 00:12:17.600
You know what I mean?
00:12:18.883 --> 00:12:22.144
Starting, taking the first step in that direction is powerful.
00:12:22.426 --> 00:12:25.687
Just taking one step because people might sit here and say, oh, I can't do that.
00:12:26.461 --> 00:12:29.644
but everybody can do it.
00:12:29.745 --> 00:12:38.354
It's their conscious mind coming through, and five percent of the decisions they make on a day-to-day basis come from their conscious mind.
00:12:39.553 --> 00:12:49.666
It's about reprogramming their subconscious mind to know that not everything is going to have to have a traumatic response.
00:12:50.446 --> 00:12:52.106
do it, you know what I mean?
00:12:52.128 --> 00:12:53.269
I'm coming across okay.
00:12:53.307 --> 00:13:14.326
No, I'm involved and I'm listening because it's very relatable and it doesn't necessarily, yes, sometimes it can be a traumatic experience, but sometimes it can actually be something that somebody would think, actually, that's not such a big a deal, but Later on, you know, what you're saying about it could be something like somebody at school said something to you that you still hold on to now.
00:13:14.365 --> 00:13:19.350
It could be what a relationship person said to you that made you doubt yourself or your confidence.
00:13:19.408 --> 00:13:23.653
And, you know, just from what you're talking about, again, this might seem quite minor to people.
00:13:23.711 --> 00:13:27.817
But a good example is the fact that I wanted to go to a performing arts college.
00:13:27.836 --> 00:13:29.138
I wanted to sing and dance.
00:13:29.898 --> 00:14:29.259
and my brother, he'd always take the mickey out of me, going, you can't sing, you're tone deaf, and it was chipping away, and he was joking, he was, you know, being a brother, you know, but it really impacted me to the point that I would never sing in front of people, or if I did, you know, I was very self-conscious, I felt very aware, but deep down, I really wanted to, and it's only in my, and I went on to be a professional dancer, more chorus work than obviously being a main singer or anything like that, but even when um i met my husband who's very much a singer he'll get up on stage you know he loves all of that side of things he's him and his family very good but it was only when i met my husband that i he started like saying oh just go for it you know you'll be fine and we started just doing like karaoke nights in our in our house and I've been very self-conscious and over time because he just loves me for me and he's given me so much confidence but I'll be the first one now going and doing karaoke if it's like even at a holiday club or you know in a bar or wherever it might be you know I love the fact I'll get up and I'll give it a go whereas before I I would never do karaoke in a million years.
00:14:29.278 --> 00:14:37.000
It's taken me about thirty odd years to feel that comfortable because my other half made me feel secure and they're actually, you have got a good voice.
00:14:37.062 --> 00:14:38.201
Like, Domi, go for it.
00:14:38.701 --> 00:14:49.384
And it might seem like a minor thing, but just the impact of what somebody said as a child really impacted me all through my adult life until I met somebody who gave me that belief and that encouragement for me to feel comfortable again.
00:14:50.144 --> 00:14:51.166
One hundred percent.
00:14:51.326 --> 00:14:52.125
One hundred percent.
00:14:52.166 --> 00:14:53.985
I'll tell you this story.
00:14:54.024 --> 00:14:55.586
My partner was adopted, OK?
00:14:57.125 --> 00:15:35.129
this will relate to an awful lot of people out there with abandonment issues and things like that and he always used to say to me oh i don't blame my mum and i'm not saying he did blame his mum right but any time that we would have fell out he would have got onto the bed right he won't mind me saying this because i've told people this before he would have gone into the bed he would have put the covers over his head and he wouldn't eat okay yeah now through my work with him we discovered That when he was a young child, when he went back into Healy's and her child, whenever he was a young child and he was given up for it, he was given up.
00:15:35.149 --> 00:15:36.190
The mother didn't want to give him up.
00:15:36.269 --> 00:15:38.370
It was a mother baby home story.
00:15:38.532 --> 00:15:40.332
And you probably heard of it in Southern Ireland.
00:15:40.374 --> 00:15:42.274
You know, there's a lot of pollen stories about that.
00:15:42.936 --> 00:15:48.038
But whenever he was given up for adoption, he was put first, I think.
00:15:48.899 --> 00:15:53.822
I think it was three weeks when he was actually adopted, but they couldn't get him to settle as a child.
00:15:54.182 --> 00:15:58.748
He wouldn't eat and he was crying all the time.
00:15:58.807 --> 00:15:59.488
Isn't that crazy?
00:15:59.528 --> 00:16:01.129
Yeah.
00:16:01.168 --> 00:16:02.149
That is unreal.
00:16:02.190 --> 00:16:08.916
But he didn't realise why he was doing that there, because obviously whenever we, he felt abandonment.
00:16:09.154 --> 00:16:11.798
Whenever we fell out, he felt he was being rejected.
00:16:12.759 --> 00:16:12.839
Yeah.
00:16:12.899 --> 00:16:15.860
It all stemmed then from the emotion that he had as a young baby.
00:16:15.899 --> 00:16:16.000
Yeah.
00:16:17.697 --> 00:16:18.898
Yeah, it's crazy.
00:16:18.937 --> 00:16:26.523
He discovered that and started to heal from that and go back to his inner child and say to his inner child, you're here, you're supported, you're loved, you're wanted.
00:16:27.864 --> 00:16:28.985
He hasn't done that since.
00:16:30.326 --> 00:16:30.404
Yeah.
00:16:30.426 --> 00:16:32.105
Isn't it absolutely unbelievable?
00:16:32.807 --> 00:16:34.469
So I want to bring across that there.
00:16:34.849 --> 00:16:40.413
But, you know, your inner child holds on to all experiences that happen to you.
00:16:40.451 --> 00:16:42.894
It holds on to emotions that happen to you.
00:16:42.994 --> 00:16:44.975
It holds on to memories from your childhood.
00:16:44.995 --> 00:16:45.076
Yeah.
00:16:46.229 --> 00:16:48.711
And it's about the emotions that that creates within you.
00:16:48.730 --> 00:16:49.652
That's what I was saying.
00:16:50.072 --> 00:16:56.317
But the way like I've wrote out a few things here just to help me obviously cover everything.
00:16:56.355 --> 00:17:01.922
But it's starting to be to recognize, as I said before, that your inner child does exist.
00:17:02.302 --> 00:17:04.344
And you can do that through means of meditation.
00:17:04.364 --> 00:17:06.365
There's loads of meditations actually up on YouTube.
00:17:06.704 --> 00:17:12.411
Obviously, if it's really deep, deep wounds, I would advise somebody to maybe go to a counsellor or a therapist or something like that.
00:17:12.770 --> 00:17:15.192
But you can do a lot of this work yourself, to be honest.
00:17:15.314 --> 00:17:16.954
I've done an awful lot of it myself.
00:17:17.536 --> 00:17:50.490
But reflecting on your childhood, will help you identify you know why you're still holding on to this emotional pain and it'll come across how you act in life that's where it comes across as what what character you what role you play um you know for example you'll get somebody that comes across maybe a stubborn person but they could be stubborn for another reason it may can be within them to be stubborn they could be stubborn because something happened then that made them That way, does that make sense?
00:17:50.509 --> 00:17:52.730
So it's dismantling that.
00:17:52.769 --> 00:17:54.029
Revisiting old wounds.
00:17:54.111 --> 00:17:55.451
And this can be traumatic.
00:17:55.471 --> 00:17:58.373
This is another way of doing it, revisiting old wounds.
00:17:58.634 --> 00:18:02.375
But this can be traumatic, and this is not an easy overnight fix.
00:18:02.433 --> 00:18:03.776
It's going to take work.
00:18:04.115 --> 00:18:13.259
But going back into them old wounds, discovering why you're feeling that way, going back and communicating with your inner child, and then healing those inner wounds you have.
00:18:13.681 --> 00:18:15.122
Listening to your inner child.
00:18:15.382 --> 00:18:17.541
Because as a child, you might not be listened to.
00:18:18.323 --> 00:18:19.784
And you may have felt misunderstood.
00:18:20.324 --> 00:18:31.166
So, and you become suppressed as a child, you know, because you would have felt maybe abandoned or you may have went through grief or you may have lost maybe an animal when you were younger and you didn't grieve properly for that animal.
00:18:31.188 --> 00:18:35.588
You may have lost a parent when you were younger and you hadn't grieved properly because you didn't know how to do it.
00:18:35.910 --> 00:18:39.490
And there may have been, you may have had a parent that was not emotionally available for you.
00:18:39.971 --> 00:18:41.250
And everybody's here on a roll.
00:18:41.290 --> 00:18:45.153
Like we're all here on what's a sole purpose.
00:18:45.173 --> 00:19:09.507
We're not given a handbook to bring up our children now people obviously have their sole purpose to live so people that do acts of some people you know saying i can't forgive that person for that these people are on a soul mission as well and they're teaching us the act of forgiveness so we're being taught here on this earth to forgive as well.
00:19:09.787 --> 00:19:12.189
And if we don't forgive, as I say, we hold on to her.
00:19:12.587 --> 00:19:19.894
So listening to your inner child is very, very key here and letting that child know they're safe, they're wanted, they're loved.
00:19:19.933 --> 00:19:22.175
The other thing is reparenting yourself.
00:19:22.457 --> 00:19:35.567
So you can go back and start reparenting that inner child because maybe you felt as a child that you weren't, you hadn't got the emotional person there that was your parent.
00:19:35.606 --> 00:19:36.807
So you felt...
00:19:37.490 --> 00:19:40.873
You can now, as an adult, re-parent that inner child.
00:19:41.031 --> 00:19:42.554
It's powerful stuff.
00:19:42.814 --> 00:19:49.318
The other thing, the big key one is the forgiveness and forgiving people and forgiving situations.
00:19:49.440 --> 00:20:02.790
And a really good one to do with forgiveness is actually, and I've done this with a lot of people as well, is say, for example, something happened to you and you find it difficult to forgive.
00:20:03.172 --> 00:20:06.374
You don't necessarily have to go to that person and say, I forgive you.
00:20:06.432 --> 00:20:08.595
OK, because a lot of people find that very traumatic.
00:20:08.973 --> 00:20:16.136
But what you can actually do is you can write out a letter, OK, to that person or to yourself.
00:20:16.396 --> 00:20:17.817
This is very, very powerful.
00:20:18.259 --> 00:20:21.079
And you can write down how the situation made you feel.
00:20:22.085 --> 00:20:25.807
And what emotions you felt in that situation.
00:20:26.606 --> 00:20:28.710
Just vent everything onto paper.
00:20:28.750 --> 00:20:30.490
You're not sending this to anybody.
00:20:30.892 --> 00:20:33.594
You're not, you know, giving this to anybody.
00:20:33.634 --> 00:20:35.914
You're not facing that person.
00:20:36.634 --> 00:20:38.297
You can do this for yourself as well.
00:20:38.876 --> 00:20:41.880
Because people hold on forgiveness in their heart as well for themselves.
00:20:42.118 --> 00:20:43.961
Because they feel they're to blame for stuff.
00:20:44.582 --> 00:21:42.238
so they're building up a resilience within themselves and feel oh i'm to blame for this for this here this all happened to me because of me yeah which is not the case at all um so writing everything down on paper and at the end of the the the letter right and so it is and burn it and release it to the universe that's a very very powerful technique to use for forgiveness so you can do that yourself or you can do it for others um other one whenever you're going on to do mindfulness work and meditation work is creating that safe space for you and your inner child and make sure that you go to somewhere maybe in a childhood that you remember was a safe space so you can actually meditate and go to that safe space whether it be somewhere in nature that you used to like or you know you don't physically have to go you can get a meditation and go to that safe space somewhere where you felt safe and you can nurture that child and communicate with that child and tell them that they're safe and they're loved and they're wanted here on the earth.
00:21:42.699 --> 00:21:43.057
Yeah.
00:21:44.058 --> 00:21:54.612
Introducing another one, inner child, like your inner child is all about joy, playfulness, like an inner child is so curious, you know, like children are, and they're so...
00:21:55.653 --> 00:22:02.199
not afraid of stuff, whereas we become adults and we start to become afraid of things because of things that have happened to us previously.
00:22:02.459 --> 00:22:05.019
But as a child, they're adventurous.
00:22:05.181 --> 00:22:06.643
They want to find out stuff.
00:22:06.942 --> 00:22:08.284
They're curious about stuff.
00:22:08.544 --> 00:22:11.346
So go back to that child and be joyful.
00:22:11.365 --> 00:22:12.968
Go out and bowl the sandcastle.
00:22:13.366 --> 00:22:15.548
Go and swing on a swing.
00:22:15.930 --> 00:22:22.134
Just because you're an adult doesn't mean that you have to be that responsible adult all the time.
00:22:22.174 --> 00:22:22.875
Be a child.
00:22:22.894 --> 00:22:25.517
Go out and Play in the woods, go out, maybe.
00:22:25.537 --> 00:22:27.576
I'm not suggesting anybody go and climb a tree.
00:22:28.038 --> 00:22:33.117
But do with things that your inner child would like doing.
00:22:33.137 --> 00:22:34.097
Do you know what I mean?
00:22:34.999 --> 00:22:40.121
Expressing joy, expressing playfulness, expressing love is one of the highest vibrations.
00:22:40.259 --> 00:22:41.721
Joy is a high vibration, you know.
00:22:42.000 --> 00:22:44.079
But that's all bringing that back into your life.
00:22:44.701 --> 00:22:50.083
Obviously going to therapy or getting support from somebody if some people feel it's too deep for them to do it themselves.
00:22:50.163 --> 00:22:50.883
A lot of stuff...
00:22:51.656 --> 00:23:58.865
can be done on from our own um i've done an awful lot from my own uh purpose but treating yourself with self-compassion you know like a lot of people feel they're not worthy because of things that have happened on previously and you just even feel I remember the time where I even felt guilty for going for a cup of coffee do you know it sounds sad now but that's the way I felt I felt guilty because I felt I didn't deserve that and that might sound silly to some people but I'm sure there's people going to be listening here that I wouldn't have went and got my hair done that often or I wouldn't have went and gotten my daughter those nails now hence I've got my nails done but do you know what I mean I wouldn't have went and treated myself because I always felt I was undeserving of that not realizing why I felt that does that make sense yeah I'm a giver I'm not a ticker do you know what I mean I love giving to people but it's all about having that compassion within yourself and that self-love and love yourself for who you truly are and taking time out for yourself an awful lot of people um feel that they shouldn't maybe have half an hour of the day for themselves or an hour of the day.
00:23:58.945 --> 00:24:00.728
Oh, I can't do that because I have to be on the phone.
00:24:01.630 --> 00:24:06.471
But taking that time out to be with you is so, so important.
00:24:06.531 --> 00:24:11.316
It's not about taking time out to go for a walk with somebody or taking time out to meet somebody for a coffee.
00:24:11.336 --> 00:24:12.557
That's brilliant in itself.
00:24:12.935 --> 00:24:17.500
But it's taking time out to be with your main body and soul, to be with you.
00:24:17.858 --> 00:24:19.779
Another one is celebrating your progress.
00:24:19.819 --> 00:24:23.741
So basically, you know, acknowledging yourself for how far you've come in your journey.
00:24:23.761 --> 00:24:24.502
That's a big one.
00:24:26.305 --> 00:24:57.509
um because again um journaling is brilliant with us because even even i do meditation classes there but even journaling because some people think oh my god i haven't got that far at all in my life but when they look back and they've journaled their progress yeah discover oh my god i've i've i've accomplished this and i've accomplished that even though it's small small steps lead us to bigger things do you know what i mean and if we um Release and surrender and do your forgiveness and do your inner child work.
00:24:57.630 --> 00:25:00.634
We will be feeling stuck in life.
00:25:00.674 --> 00:25:02.097
We'll be feeling stagnant.
00:25:02.137 --> 00:25:05.203
We'll be blocking our own energy from growing and evolving.
00:25:05.451 --> 00:25:10.296
That's what I see an awful lot through my readings, you know, to be honest with you.
00:25:10.977 --> 00:25:16.361
A lot of people are feeling very stuck, but it's because of something that happened them previously.
00:25:16.682 --> 00:25:23.207
And a lot of times it's just down to doing the inner child healing and the forgiveness work to get them to the next step.
00:25:23.467 --> 00:25:26.690
Because we're here, as I said before, to grow and evolve.
00:25:27.049 --> 00:25:29.010
And we have to go through certain steps.
00:25:29.432 --> 00:25:32.193
Like some people can become very impatient.
00:25:32.759 --> 00:25:38.461
And, you know, we talk about divine timing as readers and some people can say, oh, my God, I've heard divine timing so many times.
00:25:38.480 --> 00:25:39.922
I don't want to hear that word again.
00:25:40.201 --> 00:25:41.020
Divine timing.
00:25:41.040 --> 00:25:41.682
What's that about?
00:25:42.040 --> 00:25:44.143
But there is divine timing, believe it or not.
00:25:44.163 --> 00:25:44.761
Things are meant.
00:25:44.942 --> 00:25:51.605
I always believe that whatever you're meant to face at that time, you're meant to face because that is teaching you something.
00:25:51.846 --> 00:25:54.925
Because some people will say, why is this happening to me?
00:25:55.567 --> 00:26:05.750
I always say, ask what is actually teaching you at that time, because things that keep triggering you and things that keep coming back to you is something you need to be learning from.
00:26:06.152 --> 00:26:07.832
It's expectations of people.
00:26:08.192 --> 00:26:19.699
If you keep going into relationships, for example, right, and you haven't done your inner childhood and your forgiveness work, If you keep going into the same kind of pattern of relationships, and I'm not blaming anybody for doing that, because I've done that myself.
00:26:20.118 --> 00:26:21.381
I've been there and done that.
00:26:21.881 --> 00:26:23.662
So at the end of the day, we're human.
00:26:23.923 --> 00:26:28.046
We're energy within a human body, but we're still here having a human experience.
00:26:28.586 --> 00:26:40.693
But the thing is, if you keep going back into that there, that's because you haven't learnt from the previous experience, and it'll keep coming back at you, and it'll keep coming back at you until you learn.
00:26:41.134 --> 00:26:42.976
So that's a big one as well, you know.
00:26:43.076 --> 00:26:44.057
So Yeah.
00:26:44.076 --> 00:26:55.805
And it's great when you get to that place where you can look at things at a positive, even when it's not maybe the most, you know, convenient thing that you want to be experiencing, or it might not be the most comfortable thing that you're wanting to go through.
00:26:55.845 --> 00:26:59.105
But if you do look at it life like that, right, what am I supposed to learn from this?
00:26:59.145 --> 00:27:00.067
And what is my lesson?
00:27:00.106 --> 00:27:01.567
Or how am I going to grow from this?
00:27:01.587 --> 00:27:03.470
Because right now, I'm not feeling it.
00:27:03.490 --> 00:27:08.593
But there's something obviously that is trying to show me for me to get to the next, you know, stage of my life.
00:27:08.653 --> 00:27:14.355
And And I think, like you said, there's always something you can learn through the darkest times in your life, through challenging times.
00:27:14.738 --> 00:27:19.101
You know, I said to my friend, she said something about, oh, I'm really sorry something happened.
00:27:19.121 --> 00:27:21.843
Oh, no, it just brings just brings character to their lives.
00:27:21.863 --> 00:27:23.324
I mean, it builds them up.
00:27:23.364 --> 00:27:24.462
It brings their personality.
00:27:24.663 --> 00:27:32.750
And sometimes, yes, as we mentioned at the start, there's sometimes some experiences are going to chip away and not going to be very positive sometimes.
00:27:34.029 --> 00:27:39.272
for people that don't know how to cope or how to heal from experiences.
00:27:39.314 --> 00:27:51.902
But hopefully by listening to podcasts like this, you know, knowing that there's somebody there that can guide you and to show you and to support you is amazing because some people can do it on their own, but other people need that extra support.
00:27:52.970 --> 00:28:03.180
Yeah, because the thing is too, in life, like I've been, and I don't want to go too much into it because obviously this is a little public platform, but the thing is I've been through a lot of trauma.
00:28:03.400 --> 00:28:13.368
Like I've been through abuse, I've been through trauma, I've been through narcissistic behavior, you know, for people, emotional abuse, physical abuse.
00:28:15.352 --> 00:28:19.615
sexual abuse, I'll just say it out because there's going to be people listening that can connect to that.
00:28:20.195 --> 00:28:22.897
And obviously I would agree, I'm thinking I'm to blame here.
00:28:23.259 --> 00:28:24.480
Well, this is my fault.
00:28:24.901 --> 00:28:25.682
Do you know what I mean?
00:28:25.701 --> 00:28:27.182
But through my work, I've learned.
00:28:27.643 --> 00:28:33.307
And I attract an awful lot of people in my readings that have been through similar experiences.
00:28:33.669 --> 00:29:13.180
So I'm sure any reader out there, any healer out there will understand and know they haven't got to this stage in their life you know from not going through certain things and I do connect with an awful lot of people that are going through similar experiences as I say that I went through myself and spirits are very clever up there because spirits actually it all works in an energetic connection so people will be drawn to somebody for a certain reason and they'll be drawn to the energy at that time and at the moment um I went through a whole phase of an awful lot of people coming in and they were going through domestic violence, you know, and that whole pattern.
00:29:13.200 --> 00:29:17.925
And then now at the moment, it's like I'm getting an awful lot of people.
00:29:18.445 --> 00:29:21.550
Actually, that's another subject for another day, but past life stuff.
00:29:22.268 --> 00:29:23.608
I'm coming from past life stuff.
00:29:23.650 --> 00:29:28.855
I'm getting an awful lot of people that are unsure where they're going in life.
00:29:29.914 --> 00:29:35.441
And it's to do with their traumatic responses from inner child healing, from forgiveness work.
00:29:35.721 --> 00:29:38.262
That's what I seem to be attracting at the minute.
00:29:38.304 --> 00:29:40.807
But that's because they're sending that energy to me.
00:29:41.906 --> 00:30:28.009
with people with that energy that need to hear advice and support I seem to be people are coming to me that are unsure of their sole purpose that's one big thing that I seem to be getting at the minute and they're here to heal and help they've been through a lot of trauma in their lives and now they're here to tell their story it's like it's like you know i don't know if you ever heard you know they always say if you tell your story you're helping other people do you know yeah absolutely these experiences people are going through they're not necessarily vulnerable people because some people will say oh i never thought that they would go through that they seem so strong and independent and you know, confident, but yet this has happened to them.
00:30:28.107 --> 00:30:30.431
And, you know, sometimes people find that quite hard to believe.
00:30:30.490 --> 00:30:32.510
Oh, why didn't you just tell them to do one?
00:30:32.570 --> 00:30:33.692
Or why don't you just put your foot down?
00:30:33.711 --> 00:30:34.834
Why don't you put up with that rubbish?
00:30:34.854 --> 00:30:35.335
You know what I mean?
00:30:35.653 --> 00:30:37.935
But people are very, like I said, manipulative.
00:30:38.195 --> 00:30:39.758
They can chip away.
00:30:39.778 --> 00:30:42.401
They can make you feel amazing and wonderful.
00:30:42.441 --> 00:30:46.564
And then suddenly it just, before you know, you're in a situation, you think, oh my God, how's this happening to me?
00:30:46.604 --> 00:30:47.625
I've been in a similar one.
00:30:48.025 --> 00:30:50.444
when I was in my early twenties.
00:30:50.566 --> 00:30:55.945
And, you know, I adored this person and they gave me, you know, so much time and spent loads of money.
00:30:55.967 --> 00:30:57.346
And then suddenly they would switch like that.
00:30:57.385 --> 00:30:58.606
And it was just that, whoa.
00:30:58.906 --> 00:31:01.106
And before I knew it, I'd given up my friends.
00:31:01.448 --> 00:31:02.189
I was making excuses.
00:31:02.269 --> 00:31:03.567
I couldn't go and see my family.
00:31:03.847 --> 00:31:06.150
Oh, sorry, mom, can't see this weekend because he's working.
00:31:06.230 --> 00:31:06.910
He wasn't working.
00:31:07.009 --> 00:31:08.608
He just didn't want to go and see my family.
00:31:08.650 --> 00:31:10.651
So then it tore me and my family apart.
00:31:10.671 --> 00:31:11.750
You know, I didn't get to see them.
00:31:11.809 --> 00:31:15.672
And I started lying because I was trying to support him because I was like, oh, I don't want him to leave me.
00:31:16.132 --> 00:32:03.778
know all these things and people say oh yeah how did that happen to you you were strong and confident i don't know just found myself in a situation i don't know how i got there but over time and you know thankfully for me he cheated on me went with somebody else and i was strong enough to go right that's it i'm gone and then rebuilt my confidence in myself to see him again but i never thought i'd find myself in that situation yeah i know and the reason that it happens as well because sometimes you're looking for security and protection thinking that you're looking for the security protection and this person comes across so charming and so lovely and you haven't had it in your childhood and you felt abandonment issues in your childhood and people haven't treated you right and you're then looking for the security and protection and this person can turn on the charm and on the next moment They've got you under their control or under their thumb.
00:32:04.057 --> 00:32:12.530
They always say narcissists, now I've heard this before, whether it's a true sin or not, can actually manipulate in about five minutes, believe it or not, because it's the way their minds work.
00:32:12.632 --> 00:32:15.895
I don't never understand it, to be honest, because I could never be that type of person.
00:32:16.375 --> 00:32:19.578
But the thing is, there's something they have to heal from as well.
00:32:19.640 --> 00:32:20.701
So we're here to learn.
00:32:21.060 --> 00:32:24.384
And anybody we meet in our life things, people say, oh, my God, I'm at this.
00:32:24.545 --> 00:32:26.645
And I don't that's no way was I meant to meet that person.
00:32:26.665 --> 00:32:27.448
You're meant to meet them.
00:32:27.807 --> 00:32:30.671
Let me tell you, you're meant to meet them because you're meant to learn.
00:32:30.971 --> 00:32:35.996
You're showing them love and compassion like we both would have done there in previous situations and relationships.
00:32:36.596 --> 00:32:38.659
But they're there to teach you something else.
00:32:39.038 --> 00:32:42.865
And they're also there to heal from their maybe inner child wounds.
00:32:42.964 --> 00:32:45.910
And they maybe will go through this lifetime and never heal.
00:32:46.431 --> 00:32:47.152
Do you know what I mean?
00:32:47.172 --> 00:32:48.334
That will happen as well.
00:32:48.614 --> 00:32:49.914
We're here in a soul journey.
00:32:50.717 --> 00:32:52.420
As I said before, go back to that.
00:32:52.759 --> 00:32:54.201
to learn, evolve and grow.
00:32:54.520 --> 00:33:06.631
And if we don't complete, and I'm very much a great believer in this, some people are not maybe, but if we don't complete our soul journey and do what we're supposed to be doing, you will have to come back and repeat it.
00:33:06.891 --> 00:33:07.872
That's what I believe.
00:33:08.010 --> 00:33:14.237
I honestly believe that because we're going through, we're coming here in a soul path to learn, evolve and grow.
00:33:14.277 --> 00:33:39.854
And if we're not going to be healing or forgiving ourselves, or not releasing it from our existence and I'm not telling anybody looking at this to be worried oh my god I haven't done that there's always time to start there's always time to start but there is people on this earth and they will never ever do it because that's maybe their life lesson at that time and they will have to come back and go through another experience where they have to face these things again.
00:33:40.134 --> 00:33:43.375
The other thing I wanted to talk about as well was another one.
00:33:43.536 --> 00:33:45.517
Some people may believe in this, some people may not believe in it.
00:33:45.537 --> 00:33:46.675
I have great belief in this here.
00:33:47.237 --> 00:33:53.881
We're not necessarily born in, and this can be quite a touchy subject, but we're not necessarily born into our soul family.
00:33:55.000 --> 00:33:55.342
Okay.
00:33:55.362 --> 00:33:56.403
Yeah.
00:33:56.442 --> 00:33:58.463
I touched a wee bit on that in the last podcast.
00:33:58.525 --> 00:33:59.226
I think I did.
00:33:59.306 --> 00:34:00.886
I'm not sure if I remember correctly.
00:34:01.307 --> 00:34:05.053
But we're born into a family that we're going to learn and evolve and grow from.
00:34:05.393 --> 00:34:07.595
Some members of our family will be soul family.
00:34:07.934 --> 00:34:10.157
Some members of our family won't be soul family.
00:34:10.599 --> 00:34:12.581
So we're there to learn from them.
00:34:12.601 --> 00:34:12.661
Yes.
00:34:14.277 --> 00:34:15.500
Because I definitely know.
00:34:15.639 --> 00:34:17.101
I wasn't born into my soul family.
00:34:17.282 --> 00:34:18.264
Not all of them in a way.
00:34:18.284 --> 00:34:19.065
Do you know what I mean?
00:34:19.204 --> 00:34:23.210
And people will probably connect to this in a way.
00:34:23.411 --> 00:34:25.172
I talk to an awful lot of people.
00:34:25.534 --> 00:34:26.255
Again.
00:34:26.655 --> 00:34:28.498
I seem to attract them in my readings.
00:34:28.677 --> 00:34:31.242
As people that have felt.
00:34:31.994 --> 00:34:40.697
vulnerable when they're younger, have felt confused, have felt lonely, have felt misunderstood, have felt like a black sheep of the family.
00:34:40.719 --> 00:34:42.840
You probably have heard that saying.
00:34:43.099 --> 00:34:44.239
You felt like a black sheep.
00:34:44.260 --> 00:34:45.581
You felt you didn't belong.
00:34:46.260 --> 00:34:51.443
I seem to connect with an awful lot of people like that in my work.
00:34:52.090 --> 00:34:55.657
And I would have felt like that myself, not understanding why I felt like that.
00:34:56.297 --> 00:34:57.559
But do you know what I mean?
00:34:57.940 --> 00:34:58.942
So that's another one.
00:34:59.302 --> 00:35:04.110
Because people are probably thinking, why could somebody who's supposed to love me so much be so cruel?
00:35:04.130 --> 00:35:05.532
Do you know what I mean?
00:35:05.592 --> 00:35:05.833
I know.
00:35:06.454 --> 00:35:08.014
They're on a soul journey as well.
00:35:08.416 --> 00:35:10.197
And they haven't been given a handbook as well.
00:35:10.217 --> 00:35:19.063
If it is a parent, say for example, or it is a brother or sisters, you know, like a member of your family, they haven't been getting a handbook on how to deal with people later.
00:35:19.143 --> 00:35:21.965
Our parents maybe haven't been given a handbook on how to rear.
00:35:22.266 --> 00:35:46.021
So people are basing a lot of their stuff, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, and you had a real, like, say, a parent that really treated you really, really bad and abused you, then you're carrying maybe on that trauma throughout this lifetime to your children.
00:35:46.081 --> 00:35:46.842
Does that make sense?
00:35:47.021 --> 00:35:47.661
What was that saying?
00:35:47.702 --> 00:35:49.282
It was saying, seen but not heard.
00:35:49.302 --> 00:35:50.184
Do you know what I mean?
00:35:51.103 --> 00:35:52.625
Back then, that was exactly how it is.
00:35:52.643 --> 00:35:54.646
Like, you don't say anything.
00:35:54.666 --> 00:35:55.847
You don't show your emotion.
00:35:55.867 --> 00:35:57.208
Like, you go away.
00:35:57.268 --> 00:35:59.851
And obviously, you could hit your children back then.
00:35:59.891 --> 00:36:00.652
It wasn't a big deal.
00:36:00.672 --> 00:36:01.992
That's how you learned that respect.
00:36:02.233 --> 00:36:02.931
You get a smack.
00:36:03.213 --> 00:36:04.014
You know your place.
00:36:04.253 --> 00:36:07.237
Whereas, you know, nowadays, I mean, it happens in some places, I'm sure.
00:36:07.257 --> 00:36:09.539
But, you know, nowadays, that would be an absolute no-no.
00:36:09.559 --> 00:36:10.760
People would report you.
00:36:12.440 --> 00:36:36.706
but my mum sat my legs once so you only did it once that was enough you know but my husband would have his dad was hit him with a slipper you know there's all the things that and you know we still love our parents love all my parents that was there when they were here and so does my husband but that was the way it was back then you know that's how they should they taught their children how to get that respect Which is another journey as well.
00:36:36.887 --> 00:36:42.920
You see, this is another topic of conversation that we could dig into, but this is all today we break in.
00:36:44.045 --> 00:37:08.481
ancestral trauma and emotional trauma some of us are here to break the mold and stop that cycle from repeating itself does that make sense well my husband started trying to do that when we first when we first perished as they got older tried to do that tried to scare them not as in hitting them but that whole scale i mean you don't need to try and scare them like they'll respect you by just you telling them you don't need to try to be or like, you know, trying to scare them or intimidate them.
00:37:08.561 --> 00:37:09.481
You don't need to do that.
00:37:09.521 --> 00:37:20.106
You know, they will know by you having a firm voice or, you know, trying to get, I mean, obviously every child is different, but again, it's because he learned from his dad, they need to be scared of me because then they'll respect me and do what they're told.
00:37:20.146 --> 00:37:20.887
You don't need to do that.
00:37:20.907 --> 00:37:21.967
And he doesn't do that anymore.
00:37:21.987 --> 00:37:24.329
But, you know, there were some elements that were creeping in.
00:37:24.349 --> 00:37:27.650
I was like, no, that's not the way to do it.
00:37:27.730 --> 00:37:33.052
But we are here, like, and now, obviously the energies are very intense at the moment and the energies are very high.
00:37:33.592 --> 00:37:36.253
And a lot of people that are lightworkers are realizing the truth.
00:37:36.273 --> 00:37:39.135
We're here to break the mold.
00:37:39.175 --> 00:37:45.858
We're here to break this generational trauma because it is coming from generational trauma as well.
00:37:46.378 --> 00:37:47.159
Do you know what I mean?
00:37:47.277 --> 00:37:50.121
And I do believe that I'm here to break that mold.
00:37:50.201 --> 00:37:53.702
I'm one of these people, not the only power, but I'm one of these people.
00:37:53.722 --> 00:38:00.925
And there's loads of other readers and healers out there that are in the same situation that they're here to break that ancestral trauma.
00:38:01.425 --> 00:38:07.688
And that's our sole purpose in this earth, to bring that lightness, to bring that help, to bring that healing, to bring that advice to people.
00:38:08.268 --> 00:38:19.313
And in the workplace, with the male bosses that would make the ladies do whatever, try and get the role up, or say, if you don't want to lose your job, you've got to do this.
00:38:19.492 --> 00:38:20.793
And that happened to loads.
00:38:20.853 --> 00:38:25.795
Obviously, loads came to light in the media with what lots of guys did in the past to many women.
00:38:25.835 --> 00:38:27.775
But that used to be quite...
00:38:28.376 --> 00:38:38.385
you know, brush under the carpet, you know, and lots of women probably had to experience a lot of trauma in the workplace and did what they did and had to because they had to support and want that security.
00:38:38.445 --> 00:38:47.773
And they didn't feel they could say anything because who's going to listen to them when that person is the boss and, you know, running a company or whatever it might be, you know, lots of that went on.
00:38:48.675 --> 00:39:08.233
I know, and the thing is, these type of people as well that do this here and have that role to play, obviously, on this earth, as I believe, that's their sole purpose, to act like this, because they obviously haven't healed from what they've gone through, or they're here on that sole mission to teach people what not to be.
00:39:09.414 --> 00:39:12.757
They come across sometimes quite charming to other people.
00:39:13.018 --> 00:39:14.639
People would not believe.
00:39:14.960 --> 00:39:16.481
That they could actually be like that.
00:39:16.739 --> 00:39:17.742
But it's all to do with.
00:39:17.981 --> 00:39:19.824
Some people sometimes feel.
00:39:20.244 --> 00:39:21.324
And I know this from.
00:39:21.905 --> 00:39:22.766
I'm going to talk now.
00:39:22.985 --> 00:39:24.246
About my younger child.
00:39:24.266 --> 00:39:25.829
Who's got autism and ADHD.
00:39:25.849 --> 00:39:26.989
We touched on this briefly.
00:39:27.309 --> 00:39:30.012
But Callum sometimes would come across.
00:39:30.052 --> 00:39:31.112
And you would really feel.
00:39:31.492 --> 00:39:32.293
Sometimes that he's.
00:39:33.190 --> 00:40:49.840
controlling the situation but it's actually how many safe space so a lot of people come across sometimes as being a controlling person but it's where they feel safe because they know exactly what's going on at that time um and they might come across sometimes as people would say here in ireland about awkward you know awkward that they're just being uh years ago your granny might have said you're being trying or you're being awkward but they're their environment and they don't want to go out of that safe space or that bubble because you know that's my neighbor said it's like the same thing of the day he said because he's a little bit autistic and he said you know i have to sometimes say things in the workplace so people know that i do like things done in a particular way because otherwise you know it really gets me you know off of you know off center and I feel a bit all over the place and I might react in a particular way but it's just because I need to have things very particular for me to be able to work that way for me to process things that way and he's aware of it and he lets people know but yeah there's some people that would see that and oh you're being awkward or being rude or being abrupt but actually if you work with them and the way that you know they can you know handle things it's going to run a lot smoother everyone's different because it is about them feeling safe And they're feeling their sympathy zone at that moment whenever they're doing them things.
00:40:49.900 --> 00:40:59.003
I know from my experience with Callum and him having autism and ADHD, there's times like he can come across like he's a stubborn old grandfather.
00:40:59.023 --> 00:40:59.965
That's the way I look at him.
00:41:00.005 --> 00:41:00.784
He's only thirteen.
00:41:01.226 --> 00:41:05.728
And I'm like, and I'm not saying all grandfathers are stubborn, don't get me wrong, but that's just sort of a joke on it.
00:41:05.768 --> 00:41:13.150
But the thing is, you're like, oh my God, he just comes across so set in his ways and he won't budge for you or he won't do anything or whatever.
00:41:13.170 --> 00:42:11.913
But at that moment in time, like a lot of them children speak the truth and they just say how it is so when you actually go back and dismantle everything and think about the way they do things you think you know what they are actually right because they're not scared in a way to offend somebody does that make sense because they're they're speaking out they're venting out and it might come across to somebody oh my god you can't be rude like that or you shouldn't be doing that there but they're actually not scared because they don't have a filter children with special needs they're very connected um energetically and they will just say how it is and they if they don't want to do something they won't do it and some people could come across and say you know what they've got the right idea here do you know what i mean yeah yeah absolutely Because these are all the things, you know, when people are listening to the podcast, you know, that's what makes life sometimes very challenging, but also very beautiful at the same time.
00:42:11.934 --> 00:42:19.938
You know, the things that we can learn from other people, you know, the inspiration from so many people around us and how they cope in their everyday life.
00:42:19.958 --> 00:42:23.201
There's a lady that comes to my my spin class.
00:42:24.762 --> 00:42:26.943
who is, you know, severely disabled, bless her.
00:42:27.925 --> 00:42:30.666
What a personality, how incredible she is.
00:42:30.706 --> 00:42:35.650
She, you know, one side of her, she can't really move, but she's still spinning.
00:42:35.871 --> 00:42:38.793
She's still using the other arm to try and, you know, do all the hand moves.
00:42:39.072 --> 00:42:41.934
And she just, you know, she laughs, she has banter with us.
00:42:42.175 --> 00:42:46.898
You know, she's just incredible, you know, and it's, that's when you look at the, gosh, what have I got to write about?
00:42:46.918 --> 00:42:47.960
You know, this lady is just incredible.
00:42:49.320 --> 00:43:08.947
sensational with her outlook in life and you know you often do see that don't you with people that do have disabilities in some way as sometimes the most bravest and the most inspirational people and you think oh you know if you just have a little inch of that you know for some people would be amazing Because they're coming from the heart and soul as well.
00:43:09.568 --> 00:43:10.228
You know what I mean?
00:43:10.248 --> 00:43:12.469
If you speak from your heart and soul, that's the way.
00:43:12.989 --> 00:43:16.813
A lot of people would maybe communicate on a surface level.
00:43:17.934 --> 00:43:24.498
You know, there's a lot of people, and I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, but there's a lot of people very materialistic and it's all about, you know, material things.
00:43:24.577 --> 00:43:27.179
I was never a materialist.
00:43:27.440 --> 00:43:29.081
That's another subject for another day.
00:43:29.181 --> 00:43:29.340
Yeah.
00:43:30.885 --> 00:43:36.929
you know, if you speak from your heart and soul, then you will connect an awful lot of people.
00:43:37.027 --> 00:43:40.731
It's about being grateful for the smallest things in life.
00:43:40.871 --> 00:43:46.514
A lot of people will get down in the dumps about things and they'll say, oh my God, like this has happened to me and that's happened to me.
00:43:46.534 --> 00:43:48.797
Well, I'm going to get upset that my washing machine doesn't work.
00:43:48.817 --> 00:43:50.757
You know, something like that.
00:43:51.217 --> 00:43:52.619
Yeah.
00:43:52.900 --> 00:43:55.902
They'll say, this has happened to me, and that's happened to me, and nothing's going right for me.
00:43:55.922 --> 00:43:59.688
Because what you're putting out, I always say to people, so tune in on the radio station.
00:44:00.027 --> 00:44:04.054
If you're on a certain energetic frequency, you'll only attract what's on that frequency.
00:44:04.335 --> 00:44:06.657
So if you're in a zone of...
00:44:07.699 --> 00:44:11.079
blaming yourself, blaming others, not doing your forgiveness work.
00:44:11.119 --> 00:44:12.561
You're in that energetic frequency.
00:44:12.601 --> 00:44:15.460
So anything that's coming in for you is going to be on that same frequency.
00:44:15.802 --> 00:44:17.563
It's like tuning in that radio station.
00:44:17.862 --> 00:44:21.905
If you don't tune your radio station onto the right channel, you're going to get distortion.
00:44:22.324 --> 00:44:23.905
You're going to get a whole...
00:44:24.545 --> 00:44:25.626
You're not going to get a station.
00:44:25.646 --> 00:44:26.907
You're not going to hear the music.
00:44:26.987 --> 00:44:27.427
You know what I mean?
00:44:27.447 --> 00:44:29.447
It's a similar thing.
00:44:29.487 --> 00:44:30.987
That's a simple way of explaining it.
00:44:31.088 --> 00:44:32.748
It's a lot more deeper, obviously, than that.
00:44:33.188 --> 00:44:41.530
But if you work off a vibration of love, joy, happiness, and express love, joy, happiness, be grateful for everything you have in life.
00:44:41.949 --> 00:44:44.311
Speak from your soul.
00:44:44.650 --> 00:44:46.030
Speak from your mind, body, soul.
00:44:46.371 --> 00:44:47.291
Speak from your heart.
00:44:47.311 --> 00:44:48.231
That's it.
00:44:48.632 --> 00:44:50.532
Express your love and joy for the world.
00:44:50.592 --> 00:44:52.074
Express your love and joy for people.
00:44:52.375 --> 00:44:54.175
You're working on that high vibration.
00:44:54.856 --> 00:44:56.476
And don't force yourself to do it.
00:44:56.757 --> 00:45:04.342
Because if you try to manifest stuff or put stuff out from a place of fear, it's short-lived.
00:45:04.463 --> 00:45:07.704
If you put things out from a place of love, it's long-term.
00:45:07.744 --> 00:45:08.525
That's another thing.
00:45:08.846 --> 00:45:12.128
People try to get things to come into their life through fear.
00:45:12.568 --> 00:45:16.731
So they try to say, oh, I have to do this here because...
00:45:17.291 --> 00:45:21.751
I need to do this because that's going to help the situation.
00:45:22.032 --> 00:45:24.253
But they don't realise that's coming from a place of fear.
00:45:24.293 --> 00:45:25.753
Right.
00:45:25.773 --> 00:45:26.452
Does that make sense?
00:45:26.472 --> 00:45:26.713
Yeah, it does.
00:45:26.733 --> 00:45:27.974
You know what I mean?
00:45:27.994 --> 00:45:29.273
I hope everything I've said has made sense.
00:45:29.293 --> 00:45:29.672
A hundred percent.
00:45:29.693 --> 00:45:30.893
A hundred percent.
00:45:31.195 --> 00:45:31.534
Yeah.
00:45:31.755 --> 00:45:35.356
It's like a famous show that I'm like, oh, my God, time has just flown by.
00:45:35.476 --> 00:45:35.695
I'm like, oh.
00:45:36.695 --> 00:45:54.221
You know, I think, yeah, I mean, like last time, Fiona, you know, it's, you know, you're very wise, you're very intelligent, you have lots to say that can really relate to so many people, lots of experiences, lots of trauma that you've been through and still here to, you know, want to be there for other people to get them back on the right path or to, you know, help them heal in some way.
00:45:54.239 --> 00:45:57.543
And that's what's amazing is that you're on the phone lines on Ask the Answer.
00:45:57.802 --> 00:46:09.467
If you want to connect with you and talk more about what we'll be discussing today on the podcast, and I'm sure there's gonna be lots more that we're gonna go into in the new year, other topics, other subjects, and other things that you're passionate about.
00:46:09.487 --> 00:46:13.248
But is there any final words, Fiona, just to wrap up today's subject?
00:46:14.251 --> 00:46:19.414
I just want to let everyone know it's never too late to start doing this work, okay?
00:46:19.434 --> 00:46:23.914
In case people are sitting there on the fence and saying, oh my God, I can't do that, I can't forgive.
00:46:24.195 --> 00:46:29.956
Just reach out to somebody, whether it be your friend, whether it be, sometimes family members are not really the best to reach out to.
00:46:30.257 --> 00:46:36.538
Sometimes you need that third party intervention because some people just don't want to speak to somebody that they really know about things, you know what I mean?
00:46:36.818 --> 00:46:37.998
But do the forgiveness work.
00:46:38.018 --> 00:46:39.619
The forgiveness letter is so powerful.
00:46:40.079 --> 00:46:40.880
Do it.
00:46:40.920 --> 00:46:41.780
You know, start writing.
00:46:42.420 --> 00:46:43.601
One day you might write a line.
00:46:43.641 --> 00:46:45.101
The next day you might write ten lines.
00:46:45.161 --> 00:46:46.802
It's about starting the process.
00:46:47.043 --> 00:46:48.824
The next day you might write a whole page.
00:46:49.284 --> 00:46:50.605
But it's not an overnight thing.
00:46:50.864 --> 00:46:51.525
You can do this.
00:46:51.684 --> 00:46:54.347
And know that you're not alone.
00:46:54.507 --> 00:46:56.907
Know that you have your guardian angels with you.
00:46:57.208 --> 00:46:59.248
You have your spirit guides with you.
00:46:59.547 --> 00:47:01.789
You have your ancestral guides with you.
00:47:02.148 --> 00:47:06.090
You have your loved ones from heaven with you all the time.
00:47:06.510 --> 00:47:07.190
Do you know what I mean?
00:47:07.231 --> 00:47:14.253
So know that you are not alone because there's a lot of people out there at the moment and they're feeling very, very emotional and very, very lonely.
00:47:15.012 --> 00:47:45.364
um you know what i mean about things that have happened and they're going through a lot of grief they're going through a lot of trauma they're going through a lot of anxiety you know what i mean and just to know that you can have somebody that you can reach out to that will understand whether it be me whether it be some other um healer whether it be some other reader do you know what i mean you'll always find the right person at the right time because i always have great belief in that because i believe that they bring us together the gay your gates our gates Do you know what I mean?
00:47:45.405 --> 00:47:51.969
Bring us on that energetic connection together because they are very clever and they know exactly what we need to know at that time.
00:47:52.451 --> 00:47:54.192
That's what I find out about my readings.
00:47:54.612 --> 00:48:03.045
My readings are like, you know, they mightn't be what people want to hear because they make up an expectation of what they want to hear at that time.
00:48:03.286 --> 00:48:04.927
But that's not what they need at that time.
00:48:05.106 --> 00:48:05.907
Does that make sense?
00:48:06.188 --> 00:48:07.588
Yeah, absolutely.
00:48:08.148 --> 00:48:22.556
Well, I mean, listeners, if you've enjoyed listening to Healing and Forgiveness in today's podcast or anything else that has, you know, triggered something and you want to pick up the phone and speak to Fiona, you can find her on pin number seven zero zero four zero nine.
00:48:22.958 --> 00:48:25.639
Fiona, thank you so much for joining us once again.
00:48:25.739 --> 00:48:33.367
I hope you have a lovely Christmas and we look forward to hearing more about you in the new year and all the different things that we can go into more in depth.
00:48:33.887 --> 00:48:37.590
And thank you so much for having me again.
00:48:37.690 --> 00:48:39.431
Anytime, anytime.
00:48:39.532 --> 00:48:40.253
More than welcome.
00:48:40.492 --> 00:48:42.014
Fiona, thank you so much indeed.
00:48:42.213 --> 00:48:42.755
Lots of love.
00:48:43.635 --> 00:48:44.476
Thank you so much.
00:48:44.536 --> 00:48:45.717
Thank you so much.
00:48:45.757 --> 00:48:45.918
Bye bye.
00:48:45.938 --> 00:48:46.157
Bye bye.
00:48:46.177 --> 00:48:47.579
Bye bye.
