Ampocalypse | From Ashes To New’s Danny Case on Reflections and Becoming an Apocalyptic Road Warrior

In this episode of Ampocalypse, Damian FitzGerald is joined by Danny Case of From Ashes to New to dive into their latest album Reflections, out now. The conversation explores the creative process behind the record, from managing the pressure of following up Blackout to shaping a sound that balances heavy intensity with melodic depth. Danny shares insight into the themes driving the album, how the band approached songwriting, and what it means to evolve while staying true to their identity.

The episode also looks ahead to Ashes to New’s packed touring schedule, including sold-out European shows and major US dates. Danny reflects on fan reactions, the excitement of bringing new material to the stage, and how the band is navigating bigger venues and growing audiences. From chart success to behind-the-scenes band dynamics, this is a deep dive into a band hitting its stride in today’s rock scene.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Ampocalypse without a twist. In the second half, Danny steps into a Mad Max-style end-of-the-world scenario, sharing how he’d survive when chaos takes over. Expect strategy, humour, and a glimpse into the mindset of a frontman when the world goes full throttle into the unknown.
