ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Apparently, 40 acres and a mule aren't enough anymore. We're going to need somebody to build the house, too. 😂
This week, things get started with a debate over gospel music and CCM that raises a bigger question: Are we listening to worship music for the message, the feeling, or the performance?
From there, we somehow end up questioning whether people collecting Social Security should still be voting, figuring out what modern-day reparations would look like, and putting together a construction crew for land we don't even own.
Of course, there's plenty happening in entertainment. Vision Quest isn't winning everybody over, Avatar: Seven Havens is getting some serious praise, and our Street Fighter movie experience comes with a few unexpected confessions.
And when it's time to Grind My Gears, Houston Public Works catches some heat, somebody finally addresses the outrageous pricing of shrimp and grits, and we discover just how much money you can save by asking one simple question at the vet.
Oh, and French toast deserves the same respect as pancakes and waffles. We're standing on that.
