So… Lanterns really had us defending it for eight straight weeks just to leave us arguing like THIS after the finale. 😭
The 3rd Coast crew is back with no guest and no shortage of opinions.
This week we're getting into the Lanterns season finale — what worked, what absolutely didn't, and whether the journey was good enough to forgive an ending that left a LOT on the table. Sinestro, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, the new oath, yellow energy, Manhunters… we've got questions.
Of course, that turns into a full-blown DC debate. Lanterns vs. the rest of the DCU, Superman, Supergirl, Lex Luthor, Batman and more — including a few takes that definitely did not survive peacefully at the table. 😂
We also catch up on Ted Lasso, Heroes and Titans, talk Black Clover, argue SUB vs. DUB, and discuss what happens when One Piece sets the bar so high that every other anime has to live in its shadow.
Then it's time to suffer through Houston sports.
The Texans are 0-4, the Astros are out, and we're already looking toward the Houston Rockets to save us. With basketball coming back, we give our early predictions for the Western Conference and figure out just how high Houston can realistically climb.
